An ode to the Orbs

Summer’s night not far from reach,

Patience does the spirit teach.

Weeks may pass without a view,

A night owls hoot, a falcons screech.

Finally came a message clear... departed friends? an Orb appears.

The message true, I know not what mean it!

Amid the if, ands and buts; I've often seen it.

I had my doubts, they went away.

My friends pray told; they’d come back some day.

Three weeks past, their message clear,

We’re not alone; the Orbs are here.

May was an extremely emotionally taxing month for me; as Winter seamed to hang on for an eternity. The full spectrum happy light was no longer effective, as the rain poured down for the fourth month running, finances dwindled, crops failed; and tension between myself, clients and loved ones ran high. I began to question my firm belief in an after life, as well as the intra-dimensional transference of thought through the projection of Orbs and ethereal mists.

So went the Orbs... I hadn't captured a significant Orb image in weeks. This had happened before, but never like this. Darkness filled the night sky and nothing more.

My faithful readers on Hubpages assured me that the Orbs would return. Kind words to be sure. It wasn't that I doubted that they would return. I was having a tough time understanding why they had disappeared. Perhaps they were vacationing in Mexico or Arizona. Perhaps some a family member or friend was in need of their company. I have no idea. but thier return is quite welcome.
