Spiritual Counseling

Are you struggling with a problem, an unresolved conflict, a medical challenge, a relationship concern, some form of stress, a financial crisis, addictions, chronic pain, mental illness, or emotional suffering? My previous articles suggest a systematic way to heal, maintain emotional balance, and find your joy in life.

Hopefully you will recall that I presented five steps to positive change: face triggers; vent stressful emotions; use positive thoughts to control them; take positive action to experience a better life; hold to positive beliefs that give you hope and faith that you can find solutions to any problem.

Today, I would like to share with you some of my positive beliefs and affirmations, which I call spiritual counseling. What I believe in may not work for you. But I encourage you to formulate your own statement of being. When you can clearly define your core beliefs and you find a sense of purpose, these positive beliefs will provide an anchor of confidence as you sail through the troubled waters of this life journey.

Now please keep in mind, you are always free to subscribe to your own religious beliefs to describe what is real and meaningful in your life. Or you can embrace your own spiritual awareness of who you are and what you want to be. What’s most important is that you find a way to strengthen your beliefs, and use them in practical ways to find answers to the challenges you face.

So, here is my statement of being. What do you think about it? Better yet, what is your own statement of being?

I am one with God: All that is Good; the only Power in the universe.

I am a perfect expression of God’s Love directly accessible from my Soul within.

I am free and unlimited as revealed by the practice of prayer and meditation.

I am Light. I feel my connection to the Source of Light when I breathe in the energy that surrounds all forms of life.

Thank you God for all that I am, and for all that I will receive.

I am healed and all is well.
