Carnival Rides, Games and Sideshows of the Harlot Church System
Can you admit that you have been spiritually deceived at one time?
If you have, you will probably remember where your emotions, desires and affections were at that time. Somehow someone had reached into the gateway of your mind and performed a 'spiritual lobotomy.' Yes, this may sound like something from an episode of the Twilight Zone, but I am trying to paint a picture of the blueprint of the schemes of deception.
Has someone ever challenged you to think deep and hard about Scripture, but also think independently as well?
Have you ever had a positive experience exposing a false teacher through Godly spiritual discernment?
The outcome would either have been a negative or a positive experience. Ultimately, the goal was to examine something on the standard of Scripture. However, most of the time you will be discredited and deemed as having a critical, divisive, judgemental and condemning attitude towards. This is the common thread of those who want to remain in rebellion against God.
The modern church today has been dumbed down with amusement. The term 'amuse' can also be defined as absence of thought. This is the scheme of Satan to hinder the development of discerning or critical thinking skills.
We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:5
We have a lie detector that we can filter all teaching that comes our way. It is the guidance of the Holy Spirit that will lead us into all truth. Many take religious advice form others and treat it a 'truth' without allowing the Holy Spirit give them discernment in a particular situation. A good example is when Job's friends in the Scripture gave him advice on why he was suffering only to discover in the end that they were wrong on their presumptions about him.
After the LORD had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has." So now take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”
So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the LORD told them; and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer. - Job 14:7-9
If you are not verifying opinions, teaching and advice on the standard Scripture, then what are you using for verification?
Here are few examples of things that are popular in the harlot church system today that cannot be verified as valid in God's eyes.
- Prosperity Gospel
- Tickling ears
- Preoccupation with ceremonies and rituals
- Amusement and entertainment
Most mega churches have lots of money and are raised up to Disneyland status in order to entertain the flock, while the smaller less elite ones can be considered the 'county fair.' People love the spiritual amusement park rides and the cotton candy they are fed, but it is all empty calories. They can't get enough of being all hopped up on the carnival atmosphere.
All of us used to live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God's anger, just like everyone else. - Ephesians 2:3
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you from now on walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind - Ephesians 4:17
So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. - 1 Peter 1:13
Being a follower of Christ has nothing to do with personal pleasure and gain, but is about a deep gratitude for what he has done for us. Many are investing into the carnal perishable wares of organized religion neglecting the focus on eternal things.
Secular philosophy is eating away at our minds. The church budget is not concerned about the eternal values and principles of the Kingdom of God, but more about appealing to the flesh.
Scripture is being ignored and people remaking God in their own imaginations. Deception has become so rampant that many minds have been seared with false doctrines that don't hold up to the scrutiny of Scripture. Religious humanistic ideals are about elevating man in their self-righteous endeavors rather giving all the glory to God through Christ.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness; because that which is known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it unto them.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse: because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonoured among themselves: for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. - Romans 1:18-25
Have it Your Way
Some famous corporate slogans say, 'You deserve a break today,' or 'Have it your way.' In the same way, the church system appeals to the carnal mindset that preaches and promotes a false Gospel that does not point to the narrow way, but the broad path that leads to destruction.
But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good, traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore. From these also turn away. - 2 Timothy 3:1-5
Most people love to talk about the latest book they have read, or the latest conference they have been to. The only problem is their experiences are truth mixed with lies. Wouldn't it be great if someone read a book, or went to a conference and said, 'This is what God revealed to me this weekend and it is confirmed in Scripture.' But no, what you hear is prophet so and so went up into the third heaven and an angel gave him this new revelation and enlightenment for all of us to follow. People's minds are being filled with religious garbage from the carnal minds of apostate men who promote and spread the doctrine of demons.
Standing on the Word
Have you heard the saying, 'I agree to disagree?' Well, how about saying, 'I have a right before God to tell you that you are wrong according to the standard and context of Scripture. Do you want me to show you?' That is true love for your brethren, even though they may not see it that way.
Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. - 2 Timothy 23-26
O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge— by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen. - 1 Timothy 6:20-21
Sherlock Holmes said in the book, The Sign of the Four (1890), 'Eliminate all other factors, and the one which remains must be the truth.' Don't fall for the lies of the church institution with their carnival atmosphere and parlour tricks, but look to Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to the truth.
- Giving God a Makeover to Fit Our Selfish Needs
The church has given God a makeover to be a compromising, feel good, user friendly, "bubble-gum", reformed, unbalanced, and politically correct god to fit our own selfish needs.
- Contending for Truth Within the Church
Taking a stand and defending truth, unfortunately, and most of the time, causes dissension and disagreements among believers within the Body of Christ.
