Adam and Eve[Man and Woman]

After the creation of man in God's image and likeness, then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden,in the east and there he placed the man he had created [Gen.2 vs7-8].Despite the fact that man was living in a wonderful apartment  in the world created by God,He came around to discover and declare that it was not good that man should be alone [i.e Adam].God saw it,and acted immediately even though it does not appear that the man protested.

And the LORD God said ,it is not good that man should be alone,I will make him a helper comparable to him [Gen.2 vs 18].This does not suggest a deficiency in man's composition or personality,it only reveals that man needs another person to be completed. The  beautiful garden, the sinless perfection of the man[at the period] and every thing around him could not make him complete.

So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam and he slept, and He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place[Gen.2 vs 21].There is no statement to suggest that the man protested or suggested that he needed something/somebody.The creator saw that the need was and took remedial steps.

The LORD God caused the man to have a deep sleep. The use of anesthesia in the medical field today started with God,the only difference being in the method being used.Any Science that disrespects the Omniscience is a failure.

And He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in its place Gen.2 vs 21].The person being created [called Woman] was brought out of the existing one[Man,Gen.2 vs 22].No doubt, there are undisclosed lesson,e.g.Oneness at the creation, the need for perpetual dependence on one another, the location of the rib from where the bone had been taken also suggested closeness to the heart of man,the need for protection.

The ribs was not taken from the head so that the woman does not usurp leadership position, not taken from the feet so that man does not continue to trample on the woman. After the divine operation, the man never felt that the body lacked anything, yet another person meant to enable him fulfill had had been made.Every man and woman need to understand this mystery planned by God.

In conclusion,God did not just leave man at the level of being a man.He came at the appropriate time to give the man what /whom he needed [the woman] to fulfill and function maximally well on earth.
