THE CURE - A POEM

Updated on July 19, 2010

A Poem by Kenny K

The world is dark and cold when you are in despair

A person's destitution is meaningless to other-who cares?

Misery is a lonely game

Everyone lives a selfish life

Don't expect kindness, justice, and righteousness to be fair to you

Happiness is an abstract thought

Suffering is real

Your dream for a better life is up to God

You're a little dot in the cosmic tapestry

Does it matter to anyone if you laugh or cry?

You're here to experience good and evil, joy and pain, life and death

No matter what suffering you'd gone through and going through now,

the only cure is love and forgiveness

So you can understand God's love

For His yoke is easy and He will sustain you
