Take Time To Pray- a poem

How do you start your day? How difficult is it to set the alarm fifteen or twenty minutes earlier so to thank God the Father for your life and your day. It seems difficult to start a spiritual routine. I should know from my own personal experience. But God does know what is in the heart, and if you ask for the ability to have the time to put Him First, then it will come easier. Love is God and God is Love. And to Love God makes life a little easier to live. His son, Jesus was the greatest demonstrator of what His Father's Love is all about.

St. Paul wrote to the Thessalonians: "In everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

St John wrote in his letter about how God loves us: "See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God, and such we are...." (1 John 3:1)

When you listen to the News
Take time to pray.
It is important to do
Even three times a day.
Communication with the Father,
Creator of this Earth
Is a link to His Son,
Jesus,
Who showed what
Eternity is Worth.

A daily communion
Forgive and give love.
The gift of
His Mercy
A Promising Dove.
We all want proof
Of what we don't see,
But Belief is the action
And Faith is the key.

Even if it as small
As a seedling,
You will know
That your prayers
Are answered in His Time
So be in the right place,
Your sanctuary is
With in you
Your spiritual space.

Even if we turn from God, But we can return to Him in Prayer.

GIVE GOD JOY By BERNARD LEVINE

The most beautiful eyes in the universe

watches over us with passionate love

The most powerful hands that there is

protects us with awesome strength and care

The kindest heart you will ever find

flows with boundless grace and forgiveness

There’s so much tenderness in God’s Spirit

There’s so much giving in God’s nature

When we look for a true friend,

God’s compassion is always there for us

      When we need deliverance,

      God’s help is so mighty

The most valuable treasure in the whole world

      is that Jesus loves you

      Give

      God

      joy in praise and appreciation

      for all His wonderful gifts.

No matter what religious faith you are, the set time to pray and offer thankfulness for your existence will fulfill what you wish to gain. Remember the Creator of your existence is always listening. Thanks for all the lovely comments.

Lovely. Our days all get so busy, but we should set aside time to pray.
