Updated on May 22, 2013

One of the most common dreams that men and women have is about teeth. Teeth dreams rank at the top of the charts among reoccurring dreams. Teeth dreams can come in a variety of different dream scenarios. We can have dreams of falling teeth, rotting teeth, or having no teeth at all. We can also dream about breaking teeth or chipping a tooth. Have you ever has a dream where your teeth crumbled in your hands? This is another example of the many teeth dream scenarios that we can have. Each one of these teeth dreams can represent their own meanings and representations.

Since teeth dreams are widely interpreted by cultures all over the world, there are many interpretations and meanings. Teeth dreams can represent a variety of different meanings and interpretations. Dreams about teeth can also symbolize a variety of different emotions, both positive and negative. In this article, we will discuss teeth dreams and teeth dream scenarios. We will review teeth dream meanings and we will help guide you in the right path to properly interpret your dreams about teeth.

Most commonly, if you dreamed that your teeth were falling out, this can represent change and transition in your waking life. This change can refer to anything, such as moving, a new environment, a new relationship, or a new job. This type of teeth dream can also symbolize your emotions that you are having during this transition. These types of emotions are felt in your waking life. Although such emotions can be positive, in most cases, they are not. You may be feeling anxiety, grief, nervousness, or even depression. It is not uncommon to feel such emotions when we are going through change. Your teeth dream is representing these same emotions. Change is never easy, but it can lead to great things. Stay the course and work hard to get where you need to be, even if change is needed.

Dreams about losing teeth are not uncommon to be attached to negative emotions in our waking life. These types of emotions can include feelings of regret, disappointment, and insecurity. Since dreams of teeth falling out represent change, these emotions are often felt. None of us know what the future holds. It is not uncommon to worry about this as it brings some level of anxiety. We may wonder if we are making the right choices and often we second guess every decision that we make. Opportunity rarely comes so we have to be on guard to know when it is around. Your teeth dream may be the sign that you were waiting on.

Having dreams of your teeth falling out can leave you with bad emotions and feelings. Our teeth are very important to us. Our teeth are often the first thing someone notices about us. If some or all your teeth fall out, you are going to feel very bad. This type of teeth dream may represent your own emotions about your appearance. When we feel good and look good, we gain confidence. The same can be said about your teeth. When they are cleaned, straight, and white, we are confident and we feel better about ourselves. If you loose a tooth or you have a bad tooth, our confidence begins to falter. We begin to hid our smile and it gives us a bad feeling. We no longer feel beautiful and we no longer smile. If you have bad teeth, your teeth dream may simply be a reflection of your own emotions about your teeth in your waking life. Teeth dreams can also symbolize our fear of rejection and acceptance. We all want to feel accepted, no matter what stage of life we are in. If your not feeling accepted, dreams about your teeth are not uncommon. Rejection can have negative impacts on our waking life. Why do you feel rejected? Who is rejecting you? Why do you feel that you are not accepted? Is this the way that they view you?

Although teeth dreams often represent our negative emotions, it can also represent positive attributes. Some believe that teeth dreams are a sign that great opportunity is near. In this case, falling teeth dreams symbolize that we are within reach of our goals, dreams, and aspirations. However, this teeth dream also suggest that we must work harder to reach such heights. You are close to being where you want to be in your waking life. This may be your opportunity to take the next step. Some believe that teeth dreams can also represent money. More then likely, this is because of the reference between the tooth fairy and money. Teeth dreams may also represent power. However, it may also suggest that you have no power over a situation in your waking life.

Losing teeth dreams can also symbolize our fears of aging and death. The younger you are, odds are you rarely think about death and aging. As we age, we begin to thing about death and again more and more. Fear is actually a common emotion that we all have when it comes to aging and death. All of us know that one day, our time will come and our life will be over. Thinking about death can be very scary and can cause anxiety. Teeth dreams do not represent that we are near death. These types of dreams are only a reflection of our own emotions about getting older and death.

Dreaming about teeth falling out can also suggest that we may feel helplessness in a certain situation in our waking life. This type of dream meaning can represent a variety of different circumstances. You may feel that you have no control of your situation or circumstance. You may feel that there is no way out or there is nothing that can be done. This is a very difficult situation to be in because you feel that there is no where to turn. Teeth dreams can also represent your lack of self-confidence as well.

Some men and women believe the teeth dreams represent a lack of spirituality or faith in your waking life. A certain situation may have occurred that has made you question your own faith and way of life. There may have been a death or something bad may have happened to you. At this time, you may feel lost and feel like giving up. Life is not easy, but it can be rewarding. The important thing to remember is that God has a plan for us all. Everything happens for a reason, both good and bad. A tested faith is a stronger faith. Dreams about your teeth falling out can also symbolize renewal and rebirth. This may represent a new opportunity or a brand new start in life. This may be the start that you have been waiting for. Once again, your teeth dream points back at important opportunity in your waking life.

Good Hub lyric. And quite interesting. I had no idea they were so common. I have told quite a few people over the years and no one has ever said, Yeah, I have those dreams too.

I began having them around 8 or 10 and they continued 3-6 times a year until my mid thirties. I remember as a young girl, many of the people in my mother's family had bad teeth, very crooked, later they needed dentures at very young ages, late thirties, early forties.

My father's family recent immigrants from Poland had strong, straight, white teeth and so did I. (My siblings inherited my mothers crooked teeth nd all spent time in braces) My father used to brag on my teeth and compare me to my favorite aunt who also had beautiful teeth.

I always thought the dreams were because I was inordinately proud and aware of my teeth and was afraid that they would get broken or knocked out somehow. (pride goeth before a fall - which I heard regularly in the Baptist Church).

They were so real, I would wake up with my hand over my mouth terrified until I could look in a mirror and see that they were still all there. Funny to realize now that lots of people have these dreams.

      Hi Lyric,

I have had this dream a few times in my life. I don't know remember if I was going through a stressful situation or change in my life. I do remember the relief I felt when I woke up and realized that it was just a dream.

      Voted up and sharing

      Have a good day. :)

Oh, my goodness!!! LOL I would have never thought about one having a dream about losing one's teeth, and I know it would not be very pleasant to have such a dream!

It would probably make one get up and check the mirror to see if they are all still there. LOL

Voted up ++ and sharing (will have to return to share, as my buttons are not appearing this day)

      God bless, Faith Reaper
