Thanks Be To God

Greetings everyone, and welcome to another article on the study of the Bible that I hope you can learn from and take away and study yourself and come to your own conclusions. Study to show yourselves a workman doing what God wants for you to be the man or woman of God He wants.

2^nd Corinthians 2.14. “But thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ Jesus, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.”

What a powerful verse and statement of fact for every believer. It is God that leads us to triumph through our Lord and then spreads a sweet aroma and knowledge of Him in every place we go. The more of each of us we give to Him, the more He gives back.

The most valuable thing we can give our Lord and our God is time.

• · Jesus Christ lifted You from the Circumstances of the Former Life
• · Time to Learn Who You Are in Jesus Christ

Galatians 4:7 “So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.”

What a promise from Paul to the Galatians. The Greek noun "ser esclavoa" means driven to drugs, alcohol, or a job like many are today. The Gospel sets one free instantly from their past and makes them a new creation in Christ Jesus. A child of God destined to heaven snatched from the darkness.

People today do not understand how far in the darkness they are they because do not believe in the Spiritual world of Lord El Cantare, the Lord God Almighty. They see so much evil on media that they are bombarded with it and almost numb to anything else to get through.

I will always stick to the Bible even when it hurts. When I do, I feel the sting of it as well. Those that try to justify themselves by bending the Scriptures or modifying them in order to escape the authority are doing the same thing as the Pharisees and Sadducees of Jesus Christ day.

Moses made clear wanted to be loved and wanted obedience to come from our hearts and not to be merely the outward expression of obedience to the rules (Deuteronomy 6.4-5)

The Psalmist said:

You have a mighty arm;
Strong is Your hand, and high is Your right hand.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne;
Mercy and truth go before Your face.
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!
They walk, O Lord, in the light of Your countenance.
In Your name, they rejoice all day long,
And in Your righteousness they are exalted.
For You are the glory of their strength,
And in Your favor our [a]horn is exalted.
For our shield belongs to the Lord,
And our king to the Holy One of Israel. (Psalm 89.13-18)

Jesus knew the truth because He was the truth. He never backed down or felt threatened by a question, instead, He welcomed them. Of course, He knew all the answers which helped so fire away!

Jesus always opened minds with the truth. Jesus is the answer and He walks through a question but makes it so the door is open allowing anyone to understand the answer. If polls are accurate, modern Christians are not evangelizing nearly at all and the belief in the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and the belief in God is in sharp decline.

"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was at the beginning with God." John 1.1,2 Christ, the Word, the only begotten of God, was one with the Father-one in nature, in character, in purpose- the only being who could enter into all the counsels and purposes of God. "His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9.6) His "going forth have been from old, from everlasting." (Micah 5.2)

And the Son of God declares concerning Himself, "The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was. When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before the hills were I brought forth: While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: (Proverbs 8.22-28)
