The Antichrist Thanks The World for Erecting Buildings to Honor Him.
Men Erect Buildings: God Builds His Church, One Person at a Time.
A Church Building Is Not nor Has Ever Been a House of God.
Answer this question from God: Isaiah 66:1 ‘ … the heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me?’ Interestingly, this verse immediately follows God’s promise of a new heaven and earth, while the verses that follow concern the final judgment upon the nations of this world.
God has not honored buildings outside of that which the Word confirms. God sanctioned only one place on earth where He would meet with His people. Beginning with the wilderness tabernacle and ending with the temple in Jerusalem. The day ‘the veil of the temple was rent in twain’, (Matthew 27:51) all temple worship came to an end as far as God was concerned until the day Christ shall enter the millennial temple in PERSON. The day of Pentecost saw the rise of the Church, the called out ones with the presence of the Holy Spirit as permanent resident within. When it comes to God's people; buildings have a bad heritage and prove that there is nothing new under the sun.
Synagogues came into existence during the 3rd century B.C., shortly after the return from exile and the rebuilding of Solomon’s temple. It is interesting that this phenomenon came into being during the period between the last of the prophets, Malachi around 425 B.C. and the incarnation of our Lord. This period of silence gave rise to an ‘invention’ of man: erect buildings, have a resident holy man known as a rabbi and became centers for teaching of the Torah. It was not too long before some rabbis rose to the top of the heap and their teachings replaced the written Word. At first the teachings’ of Jesus amazed the people, including Nicodemus in John 3:2 until the day that He confronted the scribes and Pharisees in Matthew 23:1-36 which was a major factor in their desire to crucify Christ. Worship became centered upon the teachings of men and the temple was relegated to the requirements of the Law.
The first ‘church’ buildings as such first came into being during the second century as the early Church met mainly in homes or in hiding. Of the seven churches of Revelation, only Ephesus met in a rented building where they became legalistic, cold and loveless … and yes their lampstand was removed. There is a reason Jesus said … ‘where two or three gather in My name, there I shall be also.’ Buildings have become factories manufacturing strange doctrines, extra-biblical requirements for membership and an open invitation to the world to enter within. Worship has become polluted at best and all too often a trap to lure the lost into a false hope. People again have become the followers of men’s teaching rather than that of the Word. There is nothing new under the sun.
All the World Worships Something, Few Worship the God of Creation.
Idol Worship Will Again Be the Order of Day - Worldwide
The day is coming when the world will have to worship the Beast to avoid starvation and/or martyrdom. In Revelation 13:16-17, the Beast causes everyone, no matter one’s status in life, to take his mark if one should want to buy the necessities of life, such as food or sell something to a legitimate buyer. It is verses 14-15 that should arouse our attention as to what is coming … ala Baal, the worship of a single idol or receive the death penalty. Those last 42 months of the 70th week of Daniel will be bloody beyond anything we could ever comprehend in this present age as an uncountable number shall become martyrs for Christ. (Revelation 7:9)
Something supernatural this way comes as the idol, the image of the Beast, takes on a life of its own with the ability to destroy those who will not worship his image. It is a high probability that this image will not be in one central location as world travel will not be easily accessible during this period. Voila … enter the buildings, built by men to vainly serve God with a guarantee that there is going to be one near you, everywhere one could go. There will be NO church worship by those destined to be martyrs for they will quickly become a death trap to all who think they will be safe in ‘god’s house’.
With many of the wild doctrines and beliefs being espoused by so many churches in these turbulent days, it would almost appear that they are being groomed to become willing and active participants in the coming New World Order. They have become political, worldly and rich at the expense of those who eagerly follow the teachings of the men that are the power behind the show. This current world ‘pandemic’, hmm, I wonder … has proven that a large majority of the world is ready to follow in lockstep, all of the dictates of their leaders, both secular and religious.. The sheep are being primed and conditioned for the really big show, for what is happening now has been a successful social experiment evidenced everywhere around the globe.
Buildings Require a Paid Professional Staff, Enter the Clergy.
Along With the Beautiful Buildings Comes the Rise of the Clergy.
Definition of clergy - the body of all individuals ordained for religious duties.
We seem to be people who love to throw titles around, establish a hierarchy within the body of Christ and elevate a certain class of believers as more important than others. The only instruction the Word gives to the Church is that the body is to ordain (to select, choose) elders and bishops (overseers, chief of the elders) from within the body. Deacons are those who have much of the same requirements as elders but whose call is solely as a servant to the needs of the local body of Christ. The Word commands that no one is greater than another but the servant of all. Neither bishop/elder or deacon is a paid position but the elder that teaches within the body is worthy of a double honor. This is the first step in the lie that a body of believers needs a paid professional. The first question one must ask is: who gets a single honor? The answer: everyone within the local assembly of true believers only. The reason for the double honor is those who, per 1 Timothy 5:17 ‘labour in the Word’, thus taking time away from their normal wage earning activities. We have developed a professional paid priest class within our ranks and it has led churches in this country down a slippery slope. Examples:
-
Building budgets that have neglected the weightier need of the body and have limited the believer’s interaction with the needs of their community, those whom God has ordained them to reach with the Gospel.
-
A bigger staff is now necessary, for the church has become the end all for outreach and ministry within the community they supposedly serve.
-
Seminaries are no different from the secular institutions as they have to recruit new blood to keep their hallowed halls filled with paying students, the majority being young which opposes the teaching of 1 Timothy 3:6.
-
The advent of the ‘youth pastor’ within the last 50 or so years which is contrary to not only the previous passage but also to Titus 2:1-4.
-
Sadly, the worst outcome of all has been to fling the doors open and invite the world into their midst. The impact has been the destruction of the message, which should be the instruction in righteousness for believers, but has morphed into a watered down litany of a powerless gospel.
The ‘clergy’ has become a slew of elitists, whose egos and pocketbooks have taken a huge hit during this current climate of fear. Social media is rife with those begging people to remember to keep tithing (a lie in itself) and many may become willing accomplices of the coming One World Church … there is money and power to be made.
Big Government is an Ever Hungry Animal, the Church Fares Much the Same.
As the World Desires Bigger Government, So Goes the Churches.
As Isaiah states in 29:13 - ‘... this people draw near to Me with their mouth and with their lips to honor Me BUT have removed their heart FAR from Me and their fear toward Me is taught by the precepts of men.’ JFK once said, ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, but what can you do for your country.’ As the world’s governments have grown to meet all the real or imagined perils of society, most of which they have created; likewise church goers have acquiesced their responsibilities towards God into the hands of the paid professionals. As the issues and fears rise within the churches; their government (leadership) grows as does the requirements for financial support to adequately fulfill their church given duties. Strange that the Word should state quite the opposite in Ephesians 4:12, for the church leadership is to be about equipping the saints for this work.
What do we see today? An apathetic congregation made up of starved and muzzled believers along with a great many wannabe believers … religionists. The church government works overtime to centralize all control over their members and has truly replaced the fear of God, with the fear of offending the leadership. There is nothing new under the sun.
A difficult task is to take your local / denominational church affiliation’s chain of command and truly line it up with scripture. If one cannot see any problem with the way things are organized, then you just may be a perfect church goer in lockstep with the leadership and a very good sheeple.
