COMPASSION - The Beautiful Heart...
The Beautiful Heart
Habibi, my love...
Tears can fall from the eyes whilst the heart is still smiling,as can the heart feel the deepest pain but the lips will still smile. But look deeply enough into the eyes and you will see the lack of light, the bright sparkle is missing, they are dark and empty. The eyes are the windows of the soul, or should I say the windows to the heart, revealing that which cannot be hidden.
Allah revealed to Prophet Musa / Moses (peace be upon him): "(O Musa!) Do not have long desires or hopes for the world since this will make your heart hard and the one whose heart is hard far away from Me!"
Compassion is the true way to paradise, it spreads love and affection amongst all people. Compassion is a human quality, given to us by Allah, it springs from the heart, it is a quality we share with our prophets, it is a sign of our faith and Islam.
The Messenger of Allah said,
‘’People of Paradise are three;
1, a leader who is generous, spends in charity and is guided to the right course.
2, a man who is compassionate, kind to every relative and every Muslim and
3, a poor person who is virtuous and has dependants’’ (Muslim).
Being compassionate means doing good things, helping those less fortunate than ourselves, the poor, the orphans, the disabled.it is a sign of humility. Compassion entails helping the wronged .
The Messenger of Allah said,
‘’The example of me and you is like that of a man who kindled a fire. Grasshoppers and butterflies start falling into the fire and the man continued protecting them against it. I am holding you back from falling into the fire and you are slipping off my hand. ‘’ ( Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Our Prophet Muhammad (swt) said, "That person will not enter Paradise who hath one atom of pride in his heart." And a man present said, "Verily, a man is fond of having good clothes, and good shoes." Muhammad said, "God is Beauty and delighteth in the beautiful; but pride is holding man in contempt."
the smallest act of charity gives huge rewards
Every good act is charity.
Helping to sort out a dispute is Charity, helping to carry a pensioners bags is Charity, listening to another's troubles is Charity as is giving words or comfort to some one who is lonely or having a really bad time. Taking time to show you care is giving Charity.
When the child (of Zainab) was brought to our Prophet Muhammad (swt), dying; its body trembling and moving; the eyes of the Apostle of God shed many tears. And Sad said, "O Messenger of God! What is the weeping and shedding of tears?" Our Prophet Muhammad (swt) replied,
"This is an expression of the tenderness and compassion, which the Lord hath put into the hearts of His servants; the Lord doth not have compassion on and commiserate with His servants, except such as are tender and full of feeling."
A smile on the lips cannot ever disguise the ache in the heart, try as you might the lack of a twinkle in the eyes will always show.
A Smile is a great way of showing your beauty, it relieves stress.... you can't be angry or sad when you smile.
Always smile when someone looks you in the eye........
you never know how they are feeling .......
you may make all the difference to them with just that small act.........
I love this quote ....
A smile of encouragement at the right moment may act like sunlight on a closed-up flower; it may be the turning point for a struggling life.
Smile it is Sunnah. . .
Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. ...
The Beautiful Heart
Tears can be wiped away, with a tissue or the back or a hand, but a broken heart always carries the scars.
It is those scars that make us who and what we are today.
To desire for a perfect heart is meaningless and shallow; a perfect heart may look beautiful, but what good is a perfect looking heart, with no rough edges or pieces missing, with no wounds and no scars. Who will see it?
To have never felt compassion for fear of being hurt, to have never experienced life’s ups and downs, to enjoy the wonder of a child’s laughter, or the anguish of the loss of a loved one, to have never felt the passion of love the giving and receiving of something so wonderful, to never give to someone that has nothing, even a kind word.but what is it to have not felt with compassion,
To have not lived, to have not loved, to have not shared your innermost feelings and thoughts would be a sin. For life is for living , experiencing and sharing, teaching and learning from all of life’s experiences be they harsh and cruel, or full of kindness and beauty.
Each tear shed through life leaves a mark on the heart, the deeper the pain, the bigger the wound, the larger the scar. The kindest most beautiful heart may appear to be the ugliest to some, for they do not know, they do not understand what experiences, what compassion that heart holds within, each wound; a kiss, a hug or a kindness given away. Each mark a person touched by love from within that battered heart.

the power of a touch ...
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
