The Big God Story

Updated on November 20, 2014

Beyond Limits

Today I feel like God wanted me to focus on going beyond limits. God has a plan on all of our lives, and his plan has no limits!

In the Bible there is a story when children come to see Jesus, and the disciples try to stop them. But Jesus wants to accept them! We are God's children, and his arms are open wide to catch us when we fall. The Bible declares that God catches every tear that drops from our faces! If God cares so much than why are we afraid? He says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

With this I believe what Jesus is trying to explain is that children have an imagination so much different than others! When you tell a child something awesome, they turn it into something amazing!!!

Be like a child, and the kingdom of heaven belongs to you! Today, I think we should look up Philippians 4:13- I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me!

My challenge for you is to tell that scripture to a young child, around 5 years old, and ask them the biggest thing they want to do! They might say something like fly, become a princess, be a worrier, etc. After this think of the walls and limits you put up in your life, and say "no more!"

prayer- LORD, I pray that today, you will take us beyond limits! As said in your word, if we have Jesus by our side, we can do ANYTHING!!! Fill us with your Holy Spirit to choose you and you alone! It is not by my strength, or by my will, but yours be done! In Jesus' name I pray,
