The Church Diary of Jane Doe
January 20, 2010-Sister Mary told me that Deacon Smith had been stealing money from the church and there will be a business meeting about it.
February 15, 2010, Sister Jones accused Brother Tucker of making a pass at her. We'll the ushers and I was shocked because we thought he had a little sugar in his tank.
March 12, 2010, Mother Anderson grand-daughter moved to town and she came to church with the short skirt own, I know her grandmother was embarrassed. That child didn't ave no clothes on. We going to have to get her saved.
June 11, 2010, I have been in and out of the hospital, and the church sent some new minister to visit me, I didn't know this new minister, I don't know why, Pastor Richards, didn't come. I guess he is too busy for us old folks, see if he get's something for Pastor's Anniversary.
August 21, 2010, The kids got to fighting outside on the Church property. I tell you know one train or teach the kids how to act. It don't make no sense for kids to act lke that. Those kids are headed for trouble. It's on ly a matter of time. The church said, "they need volnteers to teach the kid's but, I am not going to volunteer, because them kids is just too bad."
October 14, 2010, The usher brought some cake to church for a bake sale. And she know she didn't bake that cake, she got it from Kroger and put it in a cake pan like she made it. Everybody knows she can't cook, I just feel so sorry for her poor husband.
November 14, 2010, The pastor taught another boring message on being Thankful. I was just thankful to leave.
December 19, 2010, We had a Christmas Party and everyone was so phony, like every Christmas Party. The mother's board fixed a nice meal but whoever fixed the turnip greens didn't use enough seasoning.
Thank God that he does not keep a diary of all of our mistakes or sins like Ms. Jane Doe. If we are willing to confess our sins and repent, he is willing to erase every diary entry. As we go into this new year. Don't keep a record of everyone's mistake or sin. Do what Jesus has done for us and forgive. There is no record or diary. Will someone please tell Ms. Jane Doe to do the same.
