The Crucifixion of Jesus on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m
It Is Finished
The Crown of Thorns & The Purple Robe of Righteousness
Mockery & Scoffing of The King
They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.
And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"
They spat on Him, and took the reed and began to beat Him on the head. After they had mocked Him, they took the scarlet robe off Him and put His own garments back on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.
Yeshua King of the Jews
3 Days & 3 Nights
Many years ago today, Jesus was crucified. It was a Wednesday and a very High Holy day. They placed Him on the cross at 9:00 a.m. and He suffered until 3:00 p.m.
The Word of God is very precise and no mistakes were made, nor was anything left out. The bible clearly details that he was in the grave 3 nights and 3 days. Assuredly He did not arise from the grave on Sunday, but Saturday evening after sundown--Sabbath Day!
Today is Wednesday and at this time, His crucifixion would have taken place and on my time, He would still be on the cross until 3:00 p.m. It is every emotional to think of these things.
Wednesday night = 1 night
Thursday day= 1 day
Thursday night= 2nd night
Friday day= 2nd day
Friday night=3 night
Saturday day=3rd day!
After Saturday sundown He arose! This would be the end of Sabbath day!
Sabbath day is not Sunday and it never will be Sunday! It is Friday night sundown until Saturday night sundown! Jesus rose from the grave after Saturday night sundown -- NOT Sunday!
Thirst for Living Water
Believer versus Unbeliever
Nothing that Jesus does is ever a coincidence, a mistake or for no purpose. There were three bodies hanging on three crosses that day on that place called 'skull' mountain. Two men hung on each side of Jesus that morning. Two criminals, two sinners yet only two choices.
ONLY TWO CHOICES PARADISE OR HELL
Jesus had great 'thirst' right before His death and I wonder if He was showing us as sinners that many of us wait too long to call upon Him to be saved. I have seen numerous people wait until the very last moments of their deaths to call out and accept Jesus. Could this be the 'thirst of the Living water' that Jesus was conveying by this moment documented on the cross?
The Representation of the 3 Crosses
Believe on Him
Two others also, who were criminals, were being led away to be put to death with Him. When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left.
But Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves.
And the people stood by, looking on. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One."
The soldiers also mocked Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine, and saying, "If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!" Now there was also an inscription above Him, "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."
One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, "Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!"
WAS IT THE THIEF ON THE 'RIGHT' SIDE OF JESUS WHO BELIEVED ON HIM?
But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation?"And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!"
And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."
Stop Arguing & Start Seeing His Great Love & Mercy!
Have We Missed the Blessing?
I have stepped away from countless arguments in regards to the two criminals on the cross. No thank you to those arguments. I don't like any part of it nor do I even entertain it. There is a big difference between dividing the Words of God and fighting over these things. I find it an incredible time waster. I have actually watched people fighting that the criminal who believed on Jesus did not go to Paradise because he was not baptized with water.
As I have said countless times, there is nothing that God does for no purpose. There is a purpose for everything that He says and does, especially on the cross. This was the most important day of His mission here on earth. Our salvation!
I believe that the Lord was showing us His abundant mercy and grace upon this criminal because of his true repentance and his belief on the King. The King holds the keys to His Kingdom, we do not. His Kingdom is for anyone who believes on Him and He does the rule making or the rule wavering, not us.
How glorious of a thing to see Jesus suffering on a cross with unimaginable pain, yet still he forgave all before He commanded His spirit to God the Father. He had such beautiful love for us. How immense His love is, even for those who mock Him.
For those who are unsure of Jesus and whether to believe on Him in these days called the 'End Times' I can assure you that He is most certainly alive and He surely rose from the grave. He is the King of Kings and He waits for you to call on Him in truth.
I would suggest that you stay away from all of the fighting and confusion and place your trust in Jesus alone and His mighty work on the cross. His victory on the cross to remove our sins is the GOOD news! Call on Him to be saved! Have belief on Him and know that He has great mercy and compassion for you, just as He showed this sinner on the cross.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."
The Tomb Was Empty
The Stone Was Moved Away
Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.
And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.
And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men.
MANY PEOPLE WILL HAVE THE SAME FACE AS THESE GUARDS!
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. "He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying. "Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you."
And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples.
The Great One!
The Lord Has Awesome Ways of Exiting & Entering
God moves through the entire bible with great earthquakes and this was a very significant earthquake that happened as His spirit left His body.
History repeats itself throughout the bible as well, so this is a no-brainer that the Lord is going to move again with a great earthquake. Yes. It is the "Great One" that He has spoken to me about, shown me too many times to count, as well as telling me to 'Warn the people."
THE GREAT EARTHQUAKE TORE THE VEIL -- OUR CONNECTION TO GOD AGAIN!
As the Lord said these words, "It is finished" a huge earthquake rumbled and crumbled the area.
"And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.
Just then the temple curtain was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks were split apart. And tombs were opened, and the bodies of many saints who had died were raised.
Now when the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what took place, they were extremely terrified and said,
“Truly this one was God’s Son!”
PURIM March 23 & The 5th Rare Blood Moon Tonight
God is Mysterious in ALL of His Ways
Today is Purim, the 'Celebration of Esther' and this is just one more amazing wonder that the Lord is doing on this very Holy Day of His crucifixion! I am so excited over this!
A rare 5th blood moon is expected on Purim and a lunar eclipse tonight! Amazing!
There is no such thing as coincidences in God's world and the connection to the Purim Holiday is a fabulous one! Esther saved the Jews from the first annihilation by the wicked Haman! The rare 5th Blood Moon is another amazing wonder of the Lords.
I wait in anticipation to see what God is going to do next! All of His ways are glorious. His body would have been taken down at 3:00 p.m. I pray that many see this and they glorify Jesus on the correct day!
You got to love our Lord...He does amazing things!
