The Earth Is The Lord's

Updated on August 6, 2014

From the heart of the Father, from the beginning of time

Genesis 1:28-30

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

In the Genesis 1 account of scripture we can meditate and pray and learn that God gave man all the resources he needs for his life in the earth. Adam and his wife, his helpmate, co-labored with him to till the ground and to recover from the ground what was needed for his life and the life of the coming generations. Trees for building structures and fruit bearing trees for his food. Adam co-labored with God as he and God named every animal. God showed them where the natural resources were hidden in the earth. He was instructed to subdue the earth and to have dominion.

The earth and it's resources were given into man's care under his watchful eye. Right now the natural man in God’s created earth is fulfilling God’s will for husbanding the earth. He works by the sweat of his brow to tend to the earth and it’s people and it’s resources.

Genesis 2:12

And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

Now we are going to fast forward into the knowledge of the plan of God for the earth since before the beginning of time. The reign of His Son. His reign began with his death at Calvary. The purpose of his death was to destroy the works of the evil kingdom of darkness which is ruled by satan who is the destroyer of all men. He was raised from the dead and gave the Holy Spirit as the power source for all who believed in and accepted his rule in their lives. He now is the King of Glory and he reigns over a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Through the indwelling spirit the hearts of men are transformed from the worldly mindset of men into the new heavenly mindset of disciples of Christ. The fruit of the spirit that they demonstrate is love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness kindness and self control. They live and teach God's kingdom laws of grace through obedience. As his disciples we are kingdom ambassadors in the earth.

Disciples Become Clothed in Christ Jesus...

1 Thess 5:
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

Ephesians 2:20

Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. Under his authority and be the leading of His Spirit his servants serve in the earth realm demonstrating kingdom in power and love. They go into all the world and preach the gospel and advance the righteous kingdom for the enriching of the earth.

Culture and Commerce Centers In The Earth

Family, Church, Schools, Entertainment, Media, Government, Business

These are known in kingdom language as the Seven Mountains of the culture. These are where the culture is fed and cared for. But because of the veil over the mind of the earthly man who is without Christ he dwells in spiritual darkness and is open to deceptions. The heart and life will be influenced by the lies of the ruler of the Kingdom of darkness, satan. Therefore, satan has power over him in measure to interfere with the work of God for the good of the people in the earth.

Daniel 7

He shall think to change the times and the law (Satan)

He will seek to be as the Most High God

The result of this is often corruption; greed, lust, self centered motives accompanied by a lack of the love of human beings and a desire to see to their welfare. Injustice is allowed to rule and the common man has little means of protection from the elements of evil.

But the good news! The Holy Spirit is still moving and brooding over all of God’s creation for the purpose of shining the light of truth into the spiritual darkness which covers the minds of men in the earth. In God’s new heavens and new earth, there is a work of the Spirit to place God ordained entrepreneuers in the marketplace mountains of influence which feed and care for the culture. These have become partakers of the just and loving and righteous nature of God, for the profit of all. (Spiritual Zion and it’s servants, Jerusalem). These, as they stand with Christ, through the power of the blood of Jesus will not allow the enemy to interfere with the assignment of the Lord.

Isaiah 4:6

And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Justice for all, righteousness, good success, salvation and blessings will flow from these spiritual mountains ruled by Zion into the earth realm, accomplishing the will of God to bring joy to the world through Jesus Christ his Son.

Psalm 24:1

The earth is the Lord’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.

Daniel 2:21

He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings, and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding
