The End From the Beginning

Tamarajo is an avid Bible Studier who loves nothing more than to seek out the treasures in God's Word and share them with others.

In the 1980s the Christian world was abuzz with wild speculations about how the end-time events, prophesied about in the Bible, would play out on the world stage. It was a pretty hot topic and a debated one as well. Many tried to sift through the cryptic imagery of the book of Revelation and a lot of different interpretations of it. And most were left feeling very confused.

We are almost 40 years from that time period and much has changed in terms of our ability to see how present events are fulfilling these ancient writings. it seems like it is all rolling out right before our very eyes. This article will not claim to give the specific foretelling of future events but will instead point out the prophetic "You are here" road signs we are encountering along the way.

This article will examine how current events are actually the modern interpretations of the very first narratives of the Bible which are understood, by the prophet Isaiah, to be prophetic. The Garden of Eden, the flood of Noah, the Tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah, all contain the icons and metaphors that are presently being expressed in a technological form in this present age.

In the Beginning God . . .

Information, as it involves science and technology, its purposes, and potentials, are pretty well-known and worshiped among very secular platforms. To the world at large, the offerings of these fields appear to be very "good" ideas in terms of human salvation.

Science and technology are the predominant "gods" of our time and culture. Both of them are discussed as if they are entities in and of themselves. Science is said to do miracles. Technology is spoken of as almost omniscient.

"A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) will be billions of times smarter than humans and man needs to merge with it"

— Arjun Kharpal at CNBC.

As humankind merges with artificial systems we are essentially denying God in the process. But God cannot be denied in the fact that all of these things were foretold of by Him in just about every narrative of the Bible. No other entity, human, divine, or machine, can do that.

Algorithms, however, are going to give it a try. By studying patterns based on information collecting, in the form of electronic data, computer systems and programs are learning to predict outcomes. But only God can tell the end from the beginning.

God stakes His claim as the one and only true God that is capable of foretelling these very things, in comparison to the "other gods" of our own making that cannot. He makes it abundantly clear that there is no functional system that can be created and sustained that doesn't include the Creator. All of our godless concoctions are doomed to fail as well as leave us exposed and embarrassed by a system that studies and knows everything about us by studying our patterns through online activity.

Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked

— Genesis 3:7

In the book of Isaiah the prophet informs us that God tells us the end from the beginning eight times throughout chapters 40-48.

The presentation is given, with the symbolic setting of a courtroom scene, where the Lord pleads His case that only a God who can tell the end from the beginning can really be God.

“Present your case,” says the Lord.
“Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob. Let them (idols) bring forth and show us what will happen;

Let them show the former things, what they were,
That we may consider them,
And know the latter end of them;
Or declare to us things to come.
Show the things that are to come hereafter,
That we may know that you are gods . . .

. . . Who has declared from the beginning, that we may know?
And former times, that we may say, ‘He is righteous’?

— Isaiah 41:22-26

The word "former" in the above passage is used seven times throughout Isaiah chapters 40-48 and has a similar root (רֹאשׁ rôʼsh) to the word translated "beginning" (רֹאשׁ rôʼsh) in the first sentence of the Bible. This informs us that the beginning narratives of the Bible contain the prophetic outcome of the end.

God continues His appeal with an emphasis on the fact that He is the one and only true God. There is no other.

Tell and bring forth your case;

Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the Lord?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me

— Isaiah 45:21

I am God, and there is none like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done

— Isaiah 46:9-10

“I have declared the former things from the beginning; . . .

. . . Even from the beginning I have declared it to you;
Before it came to pass I proclaimed it to you,
Lest you should say, ‘My idol has done them,
And my carved image and my molded image
Have commanded them.’

— Isaiah 48:3,5

His final appeal comes with an invitation to draw near and hear.

“Come near to Me, hear this:
I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord God and His Spirit
Have sent Me.”

— Isaiah 48:16

The preacher in the book of Ecclesiastes presents the topic, of the beginning things declaring the "end" in the form of a riddle.

That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.
Is there anything of which it may be said,
“See, this is new”?
It has already been in ancient times before us.

— Ecclesiastes 1:9-10

Surprisingly the events recorded in the beginning Bible narratives provide us with important connections and clues that help us interpret what we are seeing unfold in these days and times.

You might be wondering what these could possibly contribute to the discussion of current world events. We are discovering that they amazingly do.

We will continue unpacking this story on the current events end of this story. But before we do that I would like to discuss the possible reason God tells us the end from the beginning.

The prophet Jeremiah gives us a clue when he tries to warn Judah's king Jehoiachin, and the inhabitants of the land, that time was up on their evil doings and the Babylonians were coming to take them captive on account of their persistent wickedness. Jeremiah is instructed by God to write His Words on a scroll to be read to the king and the people, which includes His purpose for declaring it.

“Take a scroll of a book and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel, against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah even to this day. It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the adversities which I purpose to bring upon them, that every one may turn from his evil way, that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin...And you shall also read them in the hearing of all Judah who come from their cities. It may be that they will present their supplication before the Lord, and everyone will turn from his evil way”

— Jeremiah 36:2-3, 6-7

Paul substantiates the purpose of these ancient Old Testament writings in his letter to the New Testament church in Corinth.

Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

— I Corinthians 10:11

Noah, Lot, and Nimrod

The screenshot above is a recent capture of two headlines that appeared together in a secular Israeli news source called "Times of Israel". Both of these are also referenced together in a conversation between Jesus and His disciples.

Jesus disciples asked Him what the sign of His coming at the end of the age would be. His reply included references to two significant cultural time periods, that of Noah and Lot.

I have combined both Mattew's and Luke's accounts of this scene to form a more complete picture of this conversation.

Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

— Matthew 24:3.

Then He said to the it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so, will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.

— Luke 17:26-30

Days of Noah (Genesis 6)
Days of Lot (Genesis 18)
eating and drinking
eating and drinking
marrying and giving in marriage
trade and commerce through agriculture and real estate development
sudden destruction by water
sudden destruction by fire

Both of the examples of Noah and Lot are like overlays that form a composite understanding of the signs of the times.

Sandwiched between these two Old Testament events is the Tower of Babel incident in Genesis chapter eleven thus forming a sort of literary apex of all three narratives.

The Tower of Babel is significant to the larger picture of these end-time events. After the flood, God commanded Noah and his sons to replenish the earth.

And God blessed Noah, and his sons, and said to them, `Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the for you, be fruitful and multiply;
Bring forth abundantly in the earth And multiply in it.

— Genesis 9:1,7

In obedience...

the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

— Genesis 9:19

By Genesis chapter ten we are introduced to a king named Nimrod the son of Cush and grandson of Ham. In chapter eleven Nimrod is gathering the populations into one place in order to build and "make a name for themselves" in opposition to God's command to fill the earth.

“Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

— Genesis 11:4

Nimrod's name is rooted in definitions such as:

rebellious, willfully disobedient to authority, insubordinate, seditious incitement of discontent and resistance towards an established order, idolatrous opposition, defectors and enemies of light.

The following verse expounds on this when viewed through original word meanings.

Nimrod: he began (used many times in connection with something profane or polluted) to be a mighty (used most commonly for a military leader; In some cases, a proud tyrant) one in the earth.

He was a mighty hunter (includes the idea of capturing, trapping, and snaring), before (in the face of; can mean against or in resistance to) the Lord: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.

— Genesis 10:8-9

Nimrod appears to be a rebellious man of the flesh who is seeking to build a kingdom without God by snaring his subjects. This fleshly theme and pattern is also illustrated in the next section with a portrait of Esau.

Esau man of the flesh sells his birhtright for a bowl of soup. Cain gathers his brother to the field in a trap to kill him.

The Real Hunter Gatherers: Flesh and the Field

This description of Nimrod as a hunter is the first time that the word "hunt" is used in Scripture connecting us with its next occurrence as it applies to Esau, who was understood to be a man of the field and represents our flesh (base needs and desires).

...Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field

— Genesis 13:25

Cain also was a man of the field who, in a sense, snared or hunted his brother by inviting him to the field for a conversation. (Genesis 4)

Esau's connection with hunting and the field, therefore, is related to the unfaithful desires of the flesh, along with its own agendas, inventions, and techniques to satisfy its needs and desires, at the expense of our relationship with God and others.

. . . lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

— Hebrews 12:14-16

Immediate satisfaction and self-interest is the developing theme in both this Old Testament account of Esau a man of the field and selfish humanity in the time of the end in the field of the world.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

— II Timothy 3:1-4

One-World Commune

Back to Nimrod—the text does not tell us what Nimrod was hunting, ensnaring, or entrapping in Genesis chapter ten. A possible consideration, based on the negative context of the whole Tower narrative, is that snaring and entrapping humans could have been for the purpose of gathering them all into one place. Nimrod is seeking to gather the world under his lordship, possibly, to avoid accountability in the form of a type of judgment like what had occurred with the flood.

The prophets use this phraseology in terms of hunting men associating it with the worship of strange gods.

The man has perished from the earth,
And there is no one upright among men.

They all lie in wait for blood;
Every man hunts his brother with a net . . .

. . . For the statutes of Omri are kept;
All the works of Ahab’s house are done;
And you walk in their counsels

— Micah 7:2,16

Ellicot's commentary explains the statutes of Omri as it relates to idolatry, the critical employer of the developing snare.

The people of Judah, instead of keeping the commandments of the Lord diligently, adopted the statutes of the house of Omri, the founder of the idolatrous dynasty of Ahab

Obsession with everything but God is at the core of this idolatrous trap.

Ezekiel uses this same terminology of "hunting souls" in reference to the false prophets who lead the people astray.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Woe to those sowing magic charm bands for all joints of the hand, And to those making attachments For the head of every stature—to hunt souls, The souls do ye hunt of My people? And the souls ye have do ye keep alive?

— Ezekiel 13:18

These ancient cult adornments mentioned in connection with the hand and head sound similar to a prophetic verse in the book of Revelation concerning a beast (idolatrous false prophet) who ensnares the souls of men through a global economic system with some sort of mark on the hand or forehead.

He (the beast) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

— Revelation 13:16-17

A present-day application involves a developing one-world order driven by a global economic system. It is symbolized by the modern tower above called the "One World Trade Center" and otherwise known as "The Freedom Tower". I can't help but wonder if the Psalmist saw how mankind would interpret freedom in this day and age when He wrote the second Psalm.

Why do the nations rage,
And the people plot a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed saying,
“Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.” (man's version of freedom)

— Psalm 2:1-2

The Psalmist, therefore, cautions . . .

Now, therefore, be wise, O kings;
Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest be angry,
And you perish in the way,
When His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him

— Psalm 2:11-12

The rapidly developing one-world system is doing this very thing. Mankind is making its attempt at a global commune by enticing and gathering all of the earth's inhabitants under the lordship of its own distorted interpretation of good and evil.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight!

— Isaiah 5:20-21

The bait used in the system's trap is the illusion of freedom and ease from the restraint of any kind.

The gathering of populations and uniting to exclude God is a hijack of God's plan and in direct opposition to it, as expressed in Paul's letter to the Ephesians. God's plan is to blot out our transgressions by the blood of His Son in order to liberate us unto Himself, in contrast to the world's governing entities that seek to expose and control its members.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times that He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.

— Ephesians 1:7-12

"in Him" is the key phrase. He is the ark we need to enter.

Nimrod's "Net" Results in Enslavement

Nimrod presents a type of anti-Christ. The modern interpretation of the gathering at the tower for the united purpose of creating a culture apart from God could be viewed through the lens of the present-day inter(net) or World Wide (Web).

Data collection via the internet through many and varied devices is a way to catch or snare mankind into an anti-God humanistic program that will one day attempt to create its own version of Eden minus God. Good and evil will be subjectively defined.

In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes

— Judges 25:21

Manipulation and control will be the engines that drive this big machine. Exposure and enslavement will be the end result. Humankind, motivated by our own personal and private agendas and desires, willingly and blindly follow.

when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate

— Genesis 3:6

Both Babylon and Assyria were key enemy players in Israel's Old Testament "end-time" period, beginning in II Kings chapter fifteen. Eventually, the Northern Kingdom of Israel was overcome by the Assyrians and the Southern kingdom of Judah by Babylon, both of which came from Nimrod's development projects.

And the beginning of his (Nimrod's) kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land, he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city).

— Genesis 10

Take note that "the beginning" of Nimrod's kingdom is worded much like the first sentence of the Bible as in "In the beginning". This wording is most likely intentional in linking the two events in order to show us that this was total anarchy against the Creator King of all things.

Confirming this thought, the principal god of these nations was (Marod)och which in Hebrew shares root letters with Ni(mrod)

Marodoch also is known as Murdoch is associated with Mars and connected with bloodshed, slaughter, and was propitiated with human victims. He is symbolized by a snake-dragon connecting both Genesis snake in the beginning and the dragon of Revelation at the end.

He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years

— Revelation 20:2

A final note on the Tower account.

Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar.

— Genesis 11:3

This is the first mention of bricks, a man-made material, and mortar (cement), also man-made materiel, in Scripture. The second mention of both occurs when Pharaoh, King of Egypt made slaves of the Hebrews for his kingdom building development projects. Notice, also, a mention of the field in this account.

And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage—in mortar, in brick, and in all manner of service in the field. All their service in which they made them serve was with rigor

— Exodus 1:14

The first mention of bricks and mortar as it concerned the tower shows man's futile attempt at building his own kingdom apart from God and points to the bricks and mortar in Egypt that ultimately enslaves them. Although the first doesn't directly cause the other they are connected along this line in thought and theme.

As this relates to our own time and place, In a book titled "Amusing Ourselves to Death" Neil Postman, the author, references Aldous Huxley's book "Brave New World" and his observation that this advancing technological enslavement is voluntary.

"As he (Aldous Huxley) saw it, people will come to love their oppression, to adore the technologies that undo their capacities to think."40

Back to Noah and Lot

Both the Noah narrative and the Lot narrative, on either side of the Tower, mention eating and drinking. These could be referencing gluttony and intoxication of any kind which is another epidemic characteristic of our culture.

The first occurrence of the phrase "eat and drink" in the Old Testament is used in reference to the children of Israel going astray after other gods when Moses was with God on Mount Sinai.

It is notable that in this scene they gather together much like they do at the tower and create new things to worship and depend on.

Now when the people saw that Moses delayed coming down (Think of Christ's promise to return) from the mountain, the people gathered together (Babel) to Aaron, and said to him, “Come, make us gods that shall go before us (make us a system that will provide and do everything for our future well-being and benefit); for as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.”

And Aaron said to them, “Break off the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives, your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.” So all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears and brought them to Aaron. And he received the gold from their hand (ancient economic terms), and he fashioned it with an engraving tool and made a molded calf.

Then they said, “This is your god, O Israel, that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”

So when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it. And Aaron made a proclamation and said, “Tomorrow is a feast to the Lord.” Then they rose early on the next day, offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

— Exodus 1:1-5

This explains why God and Moses are so upset. Aaron, in this case, behaves more like an anti-Christ by gathering the people together, asking for their gold, forming and fashioning a "god" from it, and worst of all calling the feast to it a feast of Yahweh.

A similar event occurs in the book of Isaiah in God's accusation against the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He once again points to their refusal to come to Him but rather choose other gods and revel in their pleasures.

And in that day the Lord God of hosts
Called for weeping and for mourning,
For baldness and for girding with sackcloth.
But instead, joy and gladness,
Slaying oxen and killing sheep,
Eating meat and drinking wine:
“Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”

— Isaiah 22:12-13

Related to the topic of intoxication, the New Testament word for "witchcraft" in Greek is "pharmakeia". Does this word look familiar? The pharmaceutical industry designs, manufactures and distributes synthetic potions for just about every human ailment. "Big Pharma", is one of the most powerful and lucrative industries in the world and is presently at the center of some deeply troubling addiction centered crises connected with their wares.

Its been 2000 plus years since Christ has risen and much like the children of Israel, at the absence of Moses, rose up to play so will it be in these end times.

scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as from the beginning of creation.” For this, they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water, by which the world then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

— II Peter 3:3-7

Just as with the Noah and Lot events, both water and fire are noted in terms of judgment.

Noah and Lot's Roadside Warning

The Old Testament account of Lot explains the state of affairs during its time period which, also, sheds some light on our own.

Now the men of Sodom were extremely wicked sinners against Yahweh. (LEB)

— Genesis 13:13

The wickedness results in a cry of distress that God cannot ignore.

Then Yahweh said, “Because the outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and because their sin is very serious I will go down and I will see. Have they done altogether according to its cry of distress which has come to me? If not, I will know.”

— Genesis 18:20-21

The tower event contains a similar phrase as the one above potentially linking the reason why God visited the tower. Perhaps there was a cry of distress that went up.

the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built

— Genesis 11:5

Both Noah and Lot are to be symbols of escape from the tyranny of this distressing evil by entering the Ark for Noah, and fleeing from the wicked city for Lot, each is symbolic of salvation through Christ alone.

By faith Noah, having been warned about things not yet seen, out of reverence constructed an ark for the deliverance of his family, by which he pronounced sentence on the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

— Hebrews 11:7

When the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot to hurry, saying, “Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the punishment of the city.”

— Genesis 13:15

. . . and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked

— II Peter 2:7

God calls all out to humankind.

“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”

“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”

— II Corinthians 6:17-18

God patiently waits for all to respond to His call to repent and enter.

. . . when the patience of God waited in the days of Noah, an ark was being constructed, in which a few—that is, eight souls—were rescued through water.

— I Peter 3:17-19

God foretells, in II Chronicles, that this will play out until there is no remedy.

And the Lord God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

— II Chronicles 36:15-16

God's sincere desire is repentance.

Tell them, ‘As I live—this is the declaration of the Lord God—I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked person should turn from his way and live. Repent, repent of your evil ways! . . .

— Ezekiel 33:11

And we may wonder why evil persists for so long.

The Lord does not delay his promise, as some understand delay, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish but all to come to repentance

— II Peter 3:9

Peter's epistle explains.

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but held them captive in Tartarus with chains of darkness and handed them over to be kept for judgment, and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a proclaimer of righteousness, and seven others when he brought a flood on the world of the ungodly, and condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction, reducing them to ashes, having appointed them as an example for those who are going to be ungodly, and rescued righteous Lot, worn down by the way of life of lawless persons in licentiousness (for that righteous man, as he lived among them day after day, was tormenting his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he was seeing and hearing), the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to reserve the unrighteous to be punished at the day of judgment, and especially those who go after the flesh in defiling lust and who despise authority.

— II Peter 2:4-10

Data Farming

Noah's day was characterized by "marrying and giving in marriage". In Lot's day, marriage is not mentioned. Isn't that quite interesting from the perspective of a culture that is no longer getting married nor staying married when they do? It is more noted for its buying, selling, planting, and building. Commerce and trade in each of these "fields" is the name of the day.

Modern-day farming practices give us a metaphoric glimpse into the inner workings of the up and coming human gathering system that is already in the works and about to make its debut. Wikipedia describes this process.

farmers cultivate the land to maximize their yield. They manipulate the environment to their advantage using irrigation, pest control, crop rotation, fertilizer, and more. Small-scale designed experiments let them determine whether these treatments are effective. Similarly, data farmers manipulate simulation models to their advantage, using large-scale designed experimentation to grow data from their models in a manner that easily lets them extract useful information . . . the results can reveal root cause-and-effect relationships between the model input factors and the model responses, in addition to rich graphical and statistical views of these relationships.17

Pioneer Hi-Bred International in Mankato, Minnesota provides agricultural services for Blue Earth County. They use biotechnology (exploitation of biological processes for industrial and other purposes, especially the genetic manipulation of microorganisms for the production of antibiotics, hormones, etc.) in producing more productive crop yields. Their motto is "The Miracle of Science"

The world system that is being put into place is using these very manipulative techniques in the field of all humanity. This process is actually called "data farming".

Data is being gathered for the purpose of a one-world godless system that will manipulate everyone and everything for its own profit and advantage. It will carefully gather every piece of information on every individual and decisions concerning human life will be made based upon data gathering artificially intelligent solutions where good and right decisions will be subjectively defined.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground Genesis 2:7
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground Genesis 2:7

Harvest is Here

"Harvest is Here," says the introduction to "Pioneer's" Corn Revolution Podcast. The phrase is eerily reminiscent of Jesus' references to the times of the end in terms of the harvest of humankind.

Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months and the harvest comes’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already

— John 4:35

Jesus uses the topic of agriculture as a metaphoric tool to describe the world and as well as the people in it. One simile He uses is known as The Parable of the Tares that depicts two crops. One is evil and the other is good but they look very much the same.

He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds/tares (looks just like wheat in its early development) also among the wheat, and went away. But when the blade sprang up and produced grain, then the darnel weeds/tares appeared also. The servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’

“He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’

“But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel weeds, you root up the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’

— Matthew 13:24-30

Jesus explains that the field is the world and the crops and tares represent humanity.

“He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good seeds are the children of the Kingdom, and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burned with fire; so will it be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and those who do iniquity and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

— Matthew 13:37-43

Similarly, present-day seed, crop, and field terminology and practice are quite parallel to its application in the field of humanity.

Pioneer boasts of its gene selecting capabilities.

"Impeccable Pedigree records allow breeders to quickly select genetic lines with the most potential to solve challenges and increase yield"

These same questionable practices are occurring in the field of humanity in the area of genetic engineering and editing.

Much like corn we are being studied and measured by how we respond.

"We take it to the field . . . New tools give precise measurements on how plants respond . . . running millions of simulations using propriety algorithms for the most accurate predictions . . . so only the best make it to a farmers field"

Their claims read very much like the first chapter of Genesis.

"We have the world's most comprehensive corn germplasm library. And every year, we create more unique genetic lines, each one traceable back to our beginning in 1926"

Medicine Meets Artificial Intelligence

The world-famous Mayo Clinic is now teaming up with Google to create an AI system programmed to gather patient data along with research and then use that data to both diagnose and produce treatment plans for patients. Your healthcare decisions are going to be made by a computer as is reported by "Health Care Dive".

Mayo hopes to leverage Google's artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities to advance its digital diagnostics, augment its ability to conduct medical research and improve treatment precision and clinical outcomes.33

According to Chamber Business News, This will be a cloud-based system.

Google will be opening up its Cloud platform for Mayo to use advanced cloud computing, data analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (AI).32

Although "cloud" is simply a descriptive term it still metaphorically illustrates the modern interpretation of Babel.

And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens

— Genesis 11:4

In an article by KAAL ABC 6 News, Alice Keefe quotes Mayo's chief information officer Christopher Ross, in reference to the collection of patient information and the inability to opt-out of this type of permanent storage. He also makes mention of the "one" governed system with which it will all be used.

"Ross, said, 'information stored in Google cloud will be safer than current data centers, but patients won't be able to opt-out of their information being sent there.' . . . Through the power of technology, and expertise in two fields, the partnership's goal is to create a one healthcare experience."

The invitation to enter something without the ability to leave sounds a little "Hotel California" like. This referencing, once again, Nimrod's gathering trap.

The documentary "AI Race" weighs in on the data harvesting, ownership, control and how this is played out in the field of economics.

"really at the core of it is the economic system is really the problem in play here. It's about the ownership of AI and the robotics and the algorithms. Data is the new oil" because as we move to a digital economy we can't have automation without data . . . physical assets to data assets . . . jobs of the future will leverage data"

"whoever has the data has the power"

This is also reminiscent of an ancient conversation concerning a serpent's invitation to embrace a godless system that in the end resulted in eternal death. The modern version sounds very much like how Eve perceived the forbidden tree, quoting once again from "AI Race"

"There really is only one strategy and that is to embrace technology and to learn about it and to understand as far as possible"

The end from the beginning interpretation.

No! You will not die,” the serpent said to the woman.“In fact, God knows that when you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”The woman saw that the tree was good for food and delightful to look at, and that it was desirable for obtaining wisdom.

— Genesis 3:5-6

According to the "Return to Now" website, Big Pharma in the name of "GlaxoSmithKline" has purchased "23andMe", the world’s largest database of genetic code 43 All submitted DNA is now owned by a pharmaceutical company to use however it wishes and can profit from. "You" essentially are being exploited in this deal.

Maxwell's Demon: Defying the Laws that Govern the Universe

In the Documentary "Order and Disorder: The Forces that Drive the Universe" there is a discussion theorizing the possibility of creating a functional system by simply observing, gathering, and organizing information without relying on energy to do it.

The narrator presents this prospect based on a theory formulated by the mid-1800's Scottish physicist James Clerk Maxwell. His goal was to defy the second law of thermodynamics called the law of entropy. defines entropy as everything in the universe eventually moves from order to disorder, entropy is the measurement of that change.

Google dictionary says it another way that I think reflects the idea of Genesis 1:2.

The degree of disorder or randomness in the system.which is the gradual decline in the disorder of all things.

"the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths"

— Genesis 1:2

Maxwell uses an imaginary demon to illustrate his theory.

“if we conceive of a being whose faculties are so sharpened that he can follow every molecule in its course, such a being, whose attributes are as essentially finite as our own, would be able to do what is impossible to us."

— James Clerk Maxwell

I'm not sure if Maxwell knew how close he was to quoting Scripture in this description but sounds much like a quote from the Tower of Babel incident.

. . . now nothing will be restrained (off limits inaccessible, impossible) from them, which they have imagined to do.

— Genesis 11:6

The pattern has not changed in terms of this consideration. This is certainly the garden and tower revisited. In the garden, there was a serpent being who was gathering humans at the tree and extracting information from them for the purpose of a mutinous take over of an already designed system. This hostile plan excluded the only source of organizational energy namely God. Likewise, at Babel Nimrod also gathers the people together in order to form a system that excludes God. The narrative opens with the unification of language, speech, and could we say therefore information.

In his experiment, the demon studies the behavior of the molecules that are inside two compartments. He selectively allows the faster-moving ones to pass through a door that he controls as soon as they draw near to it. At the end of the day, the experiment fails.

There is no way to create an independent organized functional system that doesn't naturally deconstruct without energy. God makes this clear in the first chapter of Genesis. It is He alone who brings order out of chaos and a functional system out of a decomposing useless mass. The original plan was eternal until mankind made an alliance with chaotic random darkness that set into motion death, decomposition, and decay of God's habitable structure. The separation of energy from the system can result in nothing but disorder.

This imagery symbolizes how the serpent, Satan (adversary), devil, or evil one is not omnipresent, omnipotent, or omniscient. So how does he plan to highjack God's creation? By creating a system that gathers and studies data on everything and everyone in order to rule and reign what God has made and arranged. Just like in the garden he gets them to volunteer to give him the data. He begins by asking Eve questions by the time we get to Babel it is realized that it is a trap set by a "mighty hunter" in opposition to God which in the end we stand outside the sacred space naked and ashamed.

To attempt to violate the second law of Thermodynamics is to not consider the first.

The first law of Thermodynamics is energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

— I Timothy 1:17

Supercomputing and Data Collection—It's About Worship

Presently, there are approximately 500 supercomputers in the world. One of them, Mare Nostrum, is housed in a deconsecrated chapel in Barcelona Spain and iconizes the spiritual component of this rapidly developing system.

Mare Nostrum means "our sea" in Latin. The sea in Biblical metaphor can represent the world system, nations, and or masses of godless people.

Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

— Isaiah 17:12

Glen Carpenter in his book "Connections" additionally observes that not only does the sea represent the godless world but also the spiritual underworld.

The Rephaim (residents of the underworld called Sheol) are formed, Beneath the waters, also their inhabitants.

— Job 26:5

According to John's vision in Revelation, it is from the "sea" that a beast emerges.

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

— Revelation 13:1

In a documentary titled "Google and the World Brain", various guests and experts discuss problematic ethical questions surrounding data management and ownership that is managed by these supercomputing systems. The terminology quickly turns religious in reference to the placement of this particular supercomputer being housed in a deconsecrated church. During one conversation discussing one of the main purposes of this modern machine, that of data collecting, one guest reveals the underlying, behind the scenes, bigger machine.

"It's a new form of medieval church or something like that. Everybody is to give their data in service of worship of this digital god"

Another guest asks

"Has this computer been placed in the middle of a church for any special reason?

Another expert replies

"It's one of life's coincidences But I think it was a "good" idea"

Once again, the above conversation is a modern interpretation of the ancient narrative.

So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate

— Genesis 3:6

The fact that it is placed in the middle of a deconsecrated church connects us with a prophetic portion of Scripture in the book of Daniel describing a beastly end-time ruler.

forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation

— Daniel 11:31

Also, In the book of Daniel, there is a prophetic statement concerning the time of the end that there will be an increase in knowledge. Could Daniel be writing about data processing?

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

— Daniel 12:4

An article from the Digital Journal titled "Op-Ed: Knowledge Doubles Every Day and is Set to Increase" written by Tim Sandle discusses this increase in information and its "chaotic" effect in society.

"Why is the world seeming more chaotic the more complex and interconnected it becomes? The answer may be too much information or information overload. This is represented by what some social scientists refer to as the Knowledge Doubling Curve, as Feras A. Batarseh of the London School of Economics points out. This theory goes that until the year 1900, human knowledge approximately doubled every century. However, by 1950 human knowledge doubled every 25 years. In 2000, human knowledge would double every year. Now, our knowledge is almost doubling every day."1

It is interesting that the author uses the word "chaotic" in reference to an increase in knowledge this connects us with Daniel's prophecy of the end and the very first chapter of Genesis.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was chaos and waste, darkness was on the surface of the deep (Tree of Life Version)

— Genesis 3:1-2

Chaos: Beginning and End

As it concerns the Genesis beginning chaos, and its connection to today, the above advertisement by Splunk caught my eye while looking at a newspaper.

Splunk is a software company that searches, monitors, and analyzes big data by identifying patterns. Here are the claims of this company couched in the language of Genesis chapter one.

Splunk harnesses the chaos. But what if you didn’t have to bring order to the chaos to make sense of it? Splunk lets you embrace the chaotic, messy nature of your data and process it in its raw form, no matter its variety or velocity...Every department is embracing new technologies that are creating troves of meaningful data. We want to empower everyone to go from chaos to meaningful business outcomes...There’s a whole universe of hidden gems in your company’s data.

Dark Data Bright Future23

Splunk also announces its cloud platform and AI potentials connecting us again with the "tower to heaven" in the Babel account.

In 2016, Google announced its cloud platform will integrate with Splunk to expand in areas like IT ops, security, and compliance. The company also announced additional machine learning capabilities for several of its major product offerings, which are installed on top of the platform24

Machine learning according to SAS, a software analytics company is:

"A branch of artificial intelligence based on the idea that systems can learn from data, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention."34

Machines are being programmed to draw their own conclusions based on data and the patterns created by it.

Here is an ancient type revisited. Its called the tablet. The above photo shows a modern tablet using a writing app called "Nebo" alongside a much earlier version tablet. Both include a stylus and are related as far as Nebo is concerned.

The origin of the name Nebo/Nabu I'm sure was in the minds of newer version's makers.

Nabu was the patron god of scribes, literacy, and wisdom. He was also the inventor of writing, a divine scribe, and the patron god of the rational arts. Due to his role as an oracle, Nabu was associated with the Mesopotamian moon god Sin and the scribe god Ninurta.

Nabu wore a horned cap and stood with his hands clasped in the ancient gesture of priesthood. He rode on a winged dragon known as Sirrush that originally belonged to his father Marduk. In Babylonian astrology, Nabu was identified with the planet Mercury.

Nabu was continuously worshipped until the 2nd century when cuneiform became a lost art35

Another "buying and selling" company, that uses data farming to manipulate and control its potential consumers, is also called "Nebo". Here is it's claim framed in the language of the tower of Babel narrative in the sense of building a human-centered system.

Nebo: A Human-Centered Agency Built for the Digital Age

"We create digital experiences and buyer-journey marketing campaigns that empower consumers. By developing deep understandings of consumer behavior, we help brands tell great stories and earn a place in customers' hearts and minds. Most importantly, we build campaigns that do more than drive awareness - they change behavior."22

The Bible weighs in on the futility of this, doomed to fail, project using these very names.

Bel and Nebo, the gods of Babylon,
bow as they are lowered to the ground.
They are being hauled away on ox carts.
The poor beasts stagger under the weight.
Both the idols and their owners are bowed down.
The gods cannot protect the people,
and the people cannot protect the gods.
They go off into captivity together.

— Isaiah 46:1-2

Galaxy S10 BGR phone is not even trying to be sneaky about what it does in the background in terms of studying the habits, and essentially you, without you even knowing it's happening.

Samsung has baked a bunch of nifty new AI features into the Galaxy S10, but there’s one in particular that can really speed things up. It also happens completely in the background, so most users are going to appreciate it without even knowing it’s there.

Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 has a new feature called “Intelligent Performance” that learn user habits, including the times they open and use specific apps in specific locations each day. Once patterns are identified, apps are actually loaded automatically in the background at before the user even opens them. The result is much faster app launches and less time waiting for things to load, which obviously has a big impact on the user experience. The phone also closes apps from the background at certain times when it predicts that they won’t be used, saving resources and extending battery life in the process. 27

A Binary System: The Modern Version

Modern computers function off of a binary code that uses only two symbols "1's" and "0's" to express a sea of information. This is achieved by using a base 2 number system rather than the more familiar base 10. In a base 2 system, each placement of the digit 1 or 0 is increased by the power of 2 instead of 10.

This allows for only two options of expression either on or off, true or false,1 or 0. in terms of electrical transistors, presently, this is the only option for instruction giving. Endless combinations of just these two symbols make complex computing possible.

There are only two kingdoms, darkness, and light. It's one or the other. It's true or false, yes or no, ones or zeros, good or evil, not good and evil as did lie the tree. Even the system knows that.

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble

— James 2:19

The accuser of the brethren (Great Dragon, Serpent of Old, Devil, Satan) is a prosecuting attorney who tolerates no middle ground. (Revelation 12)

We must choose one side or the other.

And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve

— Joshua 24:15

A Binary System: The Ancient Version

Very similarly the ancient cuneiform writing system also consisted of two symbols; a line and a wedge. A plethora of information could be stored in this manner and was frequently used in the ancient world to record business transactions.

The phraseology of "yes" or "no" and "true or false" has sort of a judicial ring to it. All data analysis is somewhat accusatory in this respect. This system of data gathering and pattern studying as it concerns human beings could potentially be very revealing.

. . . Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

— Genesis 3:6-7

Artificial Intelligence will eventually learn to read us like a book. Algorithms are already being used to recognize emotions on our faces and tensions in our voices. Biochemical changes that occur when we think or feel things are all being studied in order to read human beings. It's all about exposure.

The book of Revelation reveals the sinister evil behind this.

. . . the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night . . .

— Revelation 12:10

Satan and Data Collecting In the Book Job

It was the accuser, Satan, who sought an occasion to destroy Job. In this narrative, God asks Satan where he has come from. This was his reply.

So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

— Job 1:7

It looks like Satan may very well have been data collecting to find some flaw in Job to seize upon him in all his going to and fro. beings he cannot be omnipresent nor omniscient. From a modern interpretation, what better way to go "to and fro throughout the earth" than to "web" and "net" them all instead.

The next part of this conversation, in its English version, reads a little bit like God is pointing out Job to Satan as an invitation to test him.

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

— Job 1:8

In Hebrew, however, this scene looks a bit different. Instead of the phrase "have you considered" the literal rendering should read "have you set your heart upon"

This phrasing leads us to a much different conclusion. God is actually confronting Satan for scoping out Job and reminding him that there is no evil data on him. Job's slate is clean and therefore there is no occasion for him to be messed with. The only case Satan can make is that Job is only faithful and doing good because God has blessed him and you know the rest of the story.

The Holes Reveal The Pattern

Data collection will be an easy way to find the holes in individual humans by observing people's patterns of behavior, responses, likes, dislikes, and much much more.

Much like the video above shows how holes in punch card looming develop a particular pattern on the fabric so will the holes in the patterns of our online activity reveal certain things about us.

This gives new meaning to David's plea to God in Psalm 51 to "blot out his transgressions". David speaks of his sin as data that is recorded somewhere.

"Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions."

— Psalm 51:1

In stark contrast to Satan's looking for a reason to steal, kill and destroy, as with Job, the God who is omnipresent and omniscient is looking for those whom He may bless. He includes the idea that the forfeiture of the blessing comes with hearts that are not entirely toward Him.

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

— II Chronicles 16:9

The Stasi Files Revisited

"We think we are searching Google but Google is really searching us", claims Mark Biltz from El Shaddai Ministries.

The name "Google" apparently was an accidental misspelling of a math term. I do however find it interesting that if you divide the word it could read "Go ogle" which fittingly describes the invitational aspect of internet searching on both ends. The word "ogle" means to stare at in a lecherous covetous manner. While we covetously look through things to ogle at we are also being ogled by larger entities for the purpose of profit and potentially the development of other social agendas.

Like a great lover, we are becoming so well known by these artificial intelligences that they can even finish our sentences for us.

With Google's Smart Assist, Google's artificial intelligence figures out what you're trying to say and auto-completes the sentence for you.29

— USA Today

On that note, it's not the system we should fear. It is the true lover of our souls that we have rejected that should be feared.

I have delivered her
Into the hand of her lovers,
Into the hand of the Assyrians,
For whom she lusted.
They uncovered her nakedness

— Ezekiel 23:9-10

At the end of the day, all of this ogling will result in the most intimate and private parts of ourselves and our lives being exposed through responsive patterns of internet activity and reactions.

According to an online article about blood bank data gathering and analyzation. A process called "data mining" is described, in a way, that I think, captures where this is going in terms of our uncovering.

"Data mining is a process of the knowledge discovery in databases and the goal is to find out the hidden and interesting information"44

In communist East Germany, during the cold war (1945-1990), the Stasi files were created. The Stasi files were an early data-collecting surveillance system established by the German Democratic Republic. According to, the most mundane details of people's lives were recorded and stored.

"The East German secret police, one of the most intrusive and oppressive spying operations ever assembled, collected millions of files on people it suspected of being enemies of the state."42

According to, one in three Germans was under surveillance and one in every thirty people were agents.41 Family and neighbors spied on each other in order to gain favor with the state. Phone conversations were tapped and hidden microphones were planted. Just about everything a person did or said was documented and stored in files. There was virtually nowhere to hide. One survivor described the feeling of being naked under the scrutiny of the system.

Things really aren't that different today. Most of us carry devices that can track our movements, learn our habits, listen to our conversations and much more. Have you wondered why you are no longer asked for ID when using your credit card? It's because they use facial recognition cameras to identify you. We are being watched and studied wherever we go. Rural mail carriers are GPS tracked on their routes. It can be seen if they were speeding or if they backed up too far, and how long they spent at each place. Every movement is monitored.

Google is only one tech giant that is collecting and analyzing data for profit. Amazon Web Services offer several data management platforms One is called Redshift Data Lake. This service is a cloud data warehouse that claims . . .

. . . to give you instant visibility into the end-end business operations . . . in order to make data driven decisions . . . Amazon Redshift utilizes sophisticated algorithms to predict and classify . . .

What happens when these same functions are applied to a world system that governs humans? This too is just around the corner. Tyler Durden at "ZeroHedge" quotes Larry Backer of Penn State.

the shift in law with this system will “…change the focus of public law from constitution and rule of law to analytics and algorithm…”46

He also refers to an article in the Wall Street Journal titled "How Bad Your Diet May Weigh On Your Job" and concerns insurance company's surveillance.

“Your insurance company…already knows whether you’ve been taking your meds, getting your teeth cleaned and going for regular medical checkups. Now some employers or their insurance companies are tracking what staffers eat, where they shop and how much weight they’re putting on — and taking action to keep them in line.”45

The bait to this snare is in providing services that will ease our toil from the messes we have created in humanity by avoiding God and His directives.

“Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:

“Cursed is the ground for your sake;
In toil, you shall eat of it

— Genesis 3:17

Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence and its merge with humanity finds its ancient interpretation in Genesis chapter six just prior to the flood. I have added letters to the verses to show the chiastic structure of the text. Literary chiasms place the main topic in the center and surround it with parallel supporting themes on each side.

And it happened that, when humankind began to multiply on the face of the ground, daughters were born to them.

A) Then the sons of God saw the daughters of humankind, that they were beautiful. And they took for themselves wives from all that they chose.

B) And Yahweh said, “My Spirit shall not abide (contend) with humankind forever in that he also is (gone astray in error) flesh.

(center theme of lifespans cut short) And his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”

B) The Nephilim (fallen ones) were upon the earth in those days, and also afterward,

A) when the sons of God went into the daughters of humankind, and they bore children to them.

— Genesis 6:1-4

The A's discuss the "Son's" of God taking the daughters of men as wives and children are born to them.

The B's discuss mankind's error and the Nephilim (fallen ones sometimes translated giants) presence in the earth

At the center is the humankind's lifespan cut short.

It is an interesting connection that mankind's error and the presence of the fallen ones in the earth are linked.

There is a lot of debate, also, as to whether the "Sons of God" are human or divine in this narrative. Whatever the case may be, there is a connection between the union of them and the daughters of men that gives birth to a mutant type species that emerges in the earth and can be to some degree visualized in a modern format in terms of mixing man and machine.

Robots, Humanoids, and the Like

The idea of mixing man and machine has been in the imaginations of the minds of humankind for a while. I recall in the 1970s watching a fictitious show called "The Six Million Dollar Man" and its offshoot "The Bionic Woman". The storylines centered around characters who receive mechanical replacement body parts that enabled them to do superhuman things. The main characters were pitched as using these abilities for "good" against "evil" heroic adventures. Little did we know the stage was being prepared for a future reality set in a time and place where good and evil would be poorly and subjectively defined.

In those days there was no king in Israel, and each one did what was right in his own eyes.

— Judges 17:6

The marriage of biology with technology is incredibly disturbing and reminiscent of the Son's of God and daughters of men seen just prior to the flood.

Gunther Plaut comments on this passage as it concerns the "days of Noah connection.

"Humans became giants, achieved renown in their time, and were heroes in their own eyes"18

The New Testament expounds on this.

And the angels who did not keep to their own domain but deserted their proper dwelling place, he has kept in eternal bonds under deep gloom for the judgment of the great day, as Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns around them indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire in the same way as these, are exhibited as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.

— Jude 6-7

In the case of Biblical narrative, a mutation occurs with the mixing of divine beings (sons of God) with humankind. This seems a bit absurd from a modern perspective that worships human logic. But this isn't so far fetched when we think of possibilities that are arising from the technological attempts at designing a new species called humanoids.

The whole human race is foolish (burning) and has no knowledge (from knowledge)!
The craftsmen are disgraced by the idols they make,
for their carefully shaped works are a fraud.
These idols have no breath (spirit) in them.
Idols are worthless; they are ridiculous lies!

— Jeremiah 51:17-18 NLT

The beginning narratives of the Bible once again speak to our modern idolatrous inventions.

Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image

— Leviticus 26:1

Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure, the likeness of male or female,The likeness of any beast that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged fowl that flies in the air,

— Deuteronomy 4:16-17

At the heart of all this corruption is a rebellious desire to be a god.

. . . “You shall not surely die. For God knows that on the day you both eat from it, then your eyes will be opened and you both shall be like gods, knowing good and evil. (Lexham English Bible)

— Genesis 3:4-5

As Ecclesiastes reports "there is nothing new under the sun".

"History began when humans invented gods, and will end when humans become gods"19

— Yuval Noah Harari

The above BBC Documentary called "Hyper-Evolution: Rise of the Robot" Part one introduces many emergent technological developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence and its literal embodiment. It broadly discusses the up and coming roles these mutant human-like machines will play in our global society and culture. According to one host, they will not only be relatable but they will help us achieve things that were once considered impossible.

. . . this is only the beginning of what they will do. So now nothing that they intend to do will be impossible for them. (LEB)

— Genesis 11:5-6

The template for these future humanoids is being formed and fashioned from the composite data of actual humans that emulate what is perceived as good.

A London based robotics company called "Geomiq" is offering to pay $127,00 for the rights to someone's face being used on a mystery client's robot. This includes physical characteristics. Keep in mind "good" is subjective, in human terms, to the former and fashioner.

although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools and changed the glory of the incorruptible into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

— Romans 1:21-23

"The AI Race"

Another documentary called "The AI Race" discusses the progression of dependence upon these artificial systems.

First, you will want the robot in your home because it's helpful next minute you will need it because you start to rely on it. and then you can't live without it...will be like a member of the family...and at the end of the day the robot doesn't genuinely care about systems and robots, of course, can empathize and they can empathize so much better than people because they are able to extract so much more data and not just about you but a lot of people like you around the world. already algorithms are being used by judges to help make decisions...algorithms are much more reliable than people. People are flawed..people are not transparent the same way an AI algorithm is... ultimately what is going to end up happening is we are going to become the second intelligent species on this planet and to take it to that degree do we actually merge with it? So we have to merge our brain with AI, its the only way forward, it's inevitable...but we won't be human then we will be something else. Superhuman! we are on the precipice of a technological transformation...transition shocking and violent...technologies are morally neutral

Our love for convenience is the lure. God confronts Sodom and Gomorrah with this very same downfall.

Look! This was the iniquity of Sodom, your sister: Pride, an abundance of food, and prosperous ease was to her and to her daughters, and she did not sustain the needy and the poor

— Ezekiel 16:49

In the book of Revelation God warns His people of the danger of dependence on any of these forms and fronts.

Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’ (Eve partaking of forbidden fruit)—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked (end result)— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

— Revelation 3:17-19

The beginning of this portion of Scripture is reminiscent of what Eve hoped to obtain in partaking of the forbidden fruit. Immediately following looks very similar to the results of that partaking.

Valkyrie is a robot that is being designed and programmed by Nasa as part of the Mars habitation mission whose plans are to send the "humanoid" ahead of the assignment with supplies.

I do believe the entire world knows that trouble is coming and imagines that it can somehow escape the judgment to come by moving to another planet rather than humbly repenting and submitting themselves to God.

. . . And they did not repent . . .

— Revelation 9:20-21,16:9,11

"Tech Times" sheds light on the interesting background behind the name Valkyrie. It could be revealing in terms of the eventual plot of the godless attempt at an organized system that attempts to function without God.

"Dubbed Valkyrie, the battery-powered robot got its name from Norse mythology, which refers to Odins group of ethereal maidens sent to the battlefield to choose who among the slain were worthy of a place in Valhalla.30

The etymology of this name goes even deeper with Biblical overtones.

the same Indo-European root produced Old Norse hel, a proper noun employed for both the name of another afterlife location and a supernatural female entity who oversees it, as well as the modern English noun hell. In Swedish folklore, some mountains that were traditionally regarded as abodes of the dead were also called Valhall; it is therefore possible that the höll element derives from hallr, "rock", and originally referred to an underworld31

The Rephaim, sometimes translated "giants", in Biblical literature sounds very much like these descriptions. They were considered dead residents of the underworld who apparently roamed the earth in certain narratives. One, in particular, discusses the peculiarity of these beings.

For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants (rephaim); behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits (13.5 feet) was the length thereof, and four cubits (6 feet) the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

— Deuteronomy 3:11

The modern interpretation could be visited in the form of robots appearing to be human but yet dead. They will have no real life in them.

Everyone is dull-hearted, without knowledge;
Every metalsmith is put to shame by the carved image;
For his molded image is falsehood,
And there is no breath in them.

— Jeremiah 51:17

Terasem—Living Technologically Forever

Life eternal is the goal and indeed, already, these attempts have taken shape in a futuristic movement called Terasem. Terasem, meaning earth seed, was formed in 2002 by Martine Rothblatt, along with her wife, Bina. Martine Rothblatt actually has a robot clone of her wife called Bina 48 who looks like the real Bina Rothblatt. The end goal is to immortalize Bina in a technological form by uploading and storing her mind, experiences, and essentially herself. The vision is to not just make something that will be like her but for it to actually be her.

This raises many ethical questions as the technology to upload the souls of humans becomes potentially possible. Questions about who technically owns you arise.

According to its website, Terasem is based on four pillars:

  1. Life is purposeful.
  2. Death is optional.
  3. God is technological. And
  4. Love is essential.

The Terasem "Beliefs" page plainly states its intent to create an eternal life with its technological god at its helm:

"Nobody dies so long as enough information about them is preserved. They are simply in a state of 'cybernetic biostasis.' Future mindware technology will enable them to be revived, if desired, to healthy and independent living."

The movement claims with regard to God being technological:

"We are making God as we are implementing technology that is ever more all-knowing, ever-present, all-powerful and beneficent. Geoethical nanotechnology will ultimately connect all consciousness and control the cosmos."

Meanwhile, futurist Ray Kurzweil, who works on Google's machine learning project, has said in recent months that by the year 2029 what is known as "singularity" — the total merging of human and computer intelligence — will be achieved.

Jotter explained that an essential aspect of transhumanism is "that the body is totally irrelevant to our identity as a human being" and that "the body becomes something you can manipulate at will and doesn't have any normative stand in defining who we are as human beings."

In other words, from the transhumanist perspective, what defines a human person is what is inside the brain and if the contents can be uploaded onto a hard drive then that would still be you.15

"The movement focuses on preserving, evoking, reviving, and downloading human consciousness

"Lifenaut", one of Terasem's project descriptions is . . .

A long-term research study that offers a free online repository of individual digital reflections/biographical information (Mindfiles) and a place to cryonically store DNA samples (BioFiles) for long-term preservation and eventual re-animation as technology evolves.

Its mission is to build a collective consciousness consisting of joyful immortal extensions of each of its joiners"16

The book of Revelation prophetically describes something that looks very similar in terms of an attempt to hi-jack God's plan in making a creature in His image and giving it breath.

He (the beast) was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

— Revelation 13:15

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.

— Genesis 2;7

Much of the philosophy and language that this movement uses is highly religious and spiritual including the installment of pastors who lead followers in fellowship with these ideals.

Mark Zuckerberg does the same when discussing the online AI-based community-building project of facebook. He dubs it 'the new church" according to the "New York Post".39

This also, once again, follows the Biblical “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves . . . " (Genesis 11:4) pattern.

Micro-chipping: It's a Seed

We have heard about micro-chipping for years and until most recently it had a science fiction ring to it. We can now say that it's not just coming, it is here!

According to USA Today . . .

"You will get chipped. It’s just a matter of time. 38

50 of 80 employees at "Three Square Market" in Wisconsin willingly took an offered microchip implant. The company designs full-meal break room kiosks that allow you to purchase via credit card, as well as chip inserted hand, swiping.

The chip is about the size of a seed and can contain any type of information associated with a person such as identification, payment information, and even medical data.

The idea of an implanted seed, in terms of "end from the beginning" connections, reminds me of Genesis chapter three that speaks of the seed of the serpent.

So the Lord God said to the serpent: . . . I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed

— Genesis 3:14-15

The serpent has a seed.

The preparatory technology for this can be seen in the use of fobs in place of keys for both cars and building access. No fumbling with locks and keys. Simply, swipe and your in.

The microchip will mean no more lost credit cards, keys, or papers. Medical information and identification will all be recorded and accessed via the chip.

Related to this, I most recently had to renew my driver's license. I was informed that as of 2020 the simple license would not be valid for flying. In order to use my license as ID for flying, I would have to get the "enhanced license". The enhanced license includes a radio chip that would have my personal and biometric identification information stored in it as well as could potentially, in the future, be used for tracking purposes.

The very first question on the form that I was supposed to fill out asked if I was in agreement with this. Obviously this is controversial at this stage of the game considering that the question was so boldly asked, but more than that the reality hit me concerning the exclusion for non-compliance. Although I can still use a passport in place of an enhanced license for identification, the entire system is moving towards either do it or you can't travel, buy, sell or whatever the case may be.

The insertion of this seed-like technology into the hand that centers around business transactions and access systems sounds eerily similar to a scheme described in John's apocalyptic revelation.

He (beast) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

— Revelation 13:16-17

Aurora: Mind Mapping

The Supercomputer Aurora, housed in Argonne National Laboratory, will be concentrated on brain mapping and trying to replicate brain function. It is considered an exascale computer meaning it can compute as fast as the human brain.

Aurora in Greek mythology was the goddess of the dawn of the day who had mortal lovers. the merging of the human and divine.

The Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory (in Argonne, Illinois, USA) is a national synchrotron-radiation light source research facility funded by the United States Department of Energy Office of Science. The facility "saw first light" on March 26, 1995. Argonne National Laboratory is managed by UChicago Argonne LLC, which is composed of the University of Chicago and Jacobs Engineering Group.

Using high-brilliance X-ray beams from the APS, members of the international synchrotron-radiation research community conduct forefront basic and applied research in the fields of materials science and biological science; physics and chemistry; environmental, geophysical and planetary science; and innovative X-ray instrumentation.12

God's first creative force is calling forth light. We see here the human attempt to be God in this modern interpretation of Stonehenge or the Wheel of the Giants as the photo heading this section shows the similarities of their constructions.

Jacob's Engineering Group, that partially manages Argonne, mentioned in the above quote, discusses the "necessities" of data gathering and processing for the health, wealth, and protection of the global commune.

"These issues inspire us to dig deeper and apply big data analytics to fully understand the interplay of multifaceted variables shaping the future, ensuring that we conceive and deliver solutions that connect people and places with the means to work smarter and live better and make an enduring, positive difference in the world...we collect and process a daunting amount of information and consider a complex interplay of factors and events...What if we showed you how we’re using drones and geo-data to detect and defend against real-time threats...As tools for gathering data become more powerful, so too will the demand for evidence-driven decisions. We fully integrate data with the empathy and judgment of designers and engineers into higher-performing, objectively measurable projects...We think differently about the future, to deliver bold solutions for changing times, and a more connected, sustainable world... Smart options for affordable, livable structures, both on land and in space, are critical for society and for future exploration.14

Hudson Yards: New York's New Microcosmic Eden-Like Neighborhood

New York City has developed a new neighborhood called Hudson Yards dubbed a "city within a city" in an online article by "Fast Company".3 And it's all about buying, selling, gathering people into one place, and gathering data about them. Tower of Babel revisited.

According to CBS New York Local

"Hudson Yards is the largest and most expensive, private real estate development in U.S. history."7

The Guardian describes the landscape as...

"full of visitors milling around temples of luxury and fashion."5

The Hudson Yards web page boasts

"All Roads Lead Here"26

According to Wikipedia Most of this neighborhood's development was once a part of the Hell's Kitchen District and still includes a sub-district of Hell's Kitchen.

This includes "Death Avenue" the nicknamed streets of 10th and 11th due to the accidents that were caused by the heavy train traffic

Manhattan's folk etymology of the original name of the area which is now known as Hudson Yards is the "the island where we all became intoxicated" and according to Wikipedia is also a phrase descriptive of the whirlpool at Hell Gate.28

"The New York Intelligencer" calls it the "Superhuman City" 21

Think Genesis chapter six once again in terms of the ancient version of superhuman. This was just prior to the flood of Noah.

It's All About You

Office entry at Hudson Yards is very futuristic and should raise some eyebrows in terms of Biblical prophecy as was already discussed in the microchipping section.

“When you come into an office building here at Hudson Yards, you just swipe your hand and you’re in,”7

This swipe is called "Pass" and is a system that scans your biometric handprint.

It has also been called the "smart city" quoting Jay Cross Hudson Yard's president, in an article by the "Real deal"10 He also explains the inclusion of holding user data, via LinkNYC Kiosks indefinitely.

LinkNYC9 according to its website offers these "free" services via their data collecting system and apps.

  1. Use your personal device to connect to LinkNYC’s super fast, free Wi-Fi
  2. Access city services, maps and directions from the tablet
  3. Make free phone calls to anywhere in the U.S. using the Vonage app on the tablet or the tactile keypad and microphone. Plug in your personal headphones for more privacy.
  4. Use the dedicated red 911 button in the event of an emergency
  5. Charge your device in a power-only USB port
  6. Enjoy more room on the sidewalk with Link’s sleek, ADA-compliant design by Antenna
  7. View public service announcements and more relevant advertising on two 55” HD displays

All of this for the low low price of you. "The Real Deal" reports that these kiosks are stocked with two cameras that will relay the information collected about you to advertisers.

"We can say how many people looked at this ad, for how long. Did they seem bored, were they smiling?."

— Jay Cross

Selling your data is in its near future according to the report.

...For your iniquities you have sold yourselves...You have sold yourselves for nothing...

— Isaiah 50:1, 52:3

Three tech giants are making Hudson yards their home one of them being Google. Google's parent company is called "Alphabet", which is significant to the "end from the beginning" topic.

According to Wikipedia, and a quote from Larry Page, former CEO, Google's parent company Alphabet was named because

"Alphabet is mostly a collection of means a collection of letters that represent language, one of humanity's most important innovations."

. . . the whole earth had one language and the same words . . .

— Genesis 11

Amazon is scheduled to settle into Hudson Yards in 2021. Facebook, well known for its data-mining practices, is also setting up shop in Hudson Yards, according to CNBC.

Facebook has signed a lease at Hudson Yards for more than 1.5 million square feet of office space and plans to move into the new offices next year. The lease includes office space across 30 floors and three buildings36

The name "Facebook" should be revealing in and of itself in terms of exposure. The entire premise of Facebook is to get you to expose as much of yourself as possible. it literally studies you and in a sense sells you to advertisers. Can you imagine the future nefarious purposes this could be potentially used for?

Lois Weiss writer for the "New York Post" dubs the companies, Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google, "FAANG"s. She writes this about them.

Titanic-sized tenants are circling the newest office buildings (at Hudson Yards) in anticipation of what may be a leasing feeding frenzy37

Sounds very vulture/vampire-like doesn't it? They are all setting up shop in this pseudo-Eden to suck the "you" out of you and sell you.

All taken together, Facebook is about voluntarily exposing yourself. Apple's icon is unmistakably reminiscent of the partaking of forbidden fruit. Amazon is a jungle, perhaps man's version of God's Eden. (Net)flix's bait to the net is entertainment. Finally, Go-ogle leaves us naked and ashamed.

The book of Revelation discusses the inevitable downfall of the great harlot city Babylon, which was known for, and dependent upon its trading, buying, and selling. The following passage speaks of even the bodies and souls of men being sold.

“And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her (Babylon the harlot city), for no one buys their merchandise anymore: merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and "souls of men.

— Revelation 18:11-13

The Vessel

An interactive sculpture called the "Vessel" is an outdoor centerpiece of the Hudson Yard's public square. It is a maze of stairs modeled after India's step wells. Some have called it the "Stairway to Nowhere". Its appearance is coiled-like and serpentine if you know what I mean.

Its name is temporary with the idea that the public will have an opportunity to contribute their thoughts on what the piece should be called. In light of this topic and the behind the scenes purposes of this neighborhood, I think "The Vortex" is more fitting.

"Looking down from near the top, I couldn't decide whether I felt like I was standing inside the rib cage of some kind of giant robotic creature or in an alien spaceship"20

— Katie Warren "Business Insider"

The designer of the Vessel is Thomas Heatherwick who also designed the Olympic flame called the Cauldron. I think the connections are obvious.

It is copper in color which in Biblical typology is interpreted as a sign of judgment. Another interesting note is that the word for "serpent" described in Genesis chapter three is the same word for "copper" and includes the idea of something shiny.

Ticket purchasers who wished to climb the structure were initially required to sign an agreement that contained a hidden clause giving Hudson Yards claim to any photos or videos taken at the vessel.6 They have since changed their policy after the complaints.

Hidden within this development is an "Urban Sanctuary"4 called 3DEN (a play on Eden) designed with everything you can imagine to accommodate free time and relaxing. There are nap pods, yoga rooms, private phone booths, tree swings, snacks, beverages, and a wellness center. You can even take a shower stocked with "Seed" cosmetic products. One visitor quoted in the "Business Insider article.

"My first thought upon stepping inside the space was that the abundance of plants and light do give it a "Garden of Eden" vibe."

According to CBS Local New York

"The concept for the team at Hudson Yards was to create a space where New Yorkers can work, live and play" 7

The Biblical language used to describe this place is pretty blatant.

The shopping portion of Hudson Yards includes a shop called "Milk and Honey Babies"

All, of course, available through the swiping and data collecting agreements. It's in the small print behind the scenes details.

New York Eater wrote about the opening day of Hudson Yards and titled the article "Inside the Chaos of Hudson Yards' Opening Day" which is reminiscent of a beginning narrative.

And the earth was without order, and empty; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

— Genesis 1:2

The Spiral and the Hanging Gardens

At the center of Hudson Yards is a tower known as the "Spiral" (see the above photo) It's exterior includes a garden that spirals up the building and is called the "Hanging Gardens" It resides at 66 Hudson Boulevard.

It looks eerily similar to a colored engraving that depicts the ancient Babylonian Hanging Gardens once known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (see the above photo). The Tower of Babel can be seen in the background.

In the ancient world Towers of this style were built as observation towers for the purpose of surveying activities.

The Edge

The Edge observation deck at 30 Hudson Yards, is the tallest in the Western Hemisphere and boasts its ability to give you the sensation of being in mid-air once again hearkening back to the ancient "tower to heaven" It also allows you to see 360 degrees in all directions.

The Sphere: It's About Trading

The only surviving piece of art from the 911 World Trade Center collapse is a bronze globe called the Sphere. It was originally positioned between the two towers and now is located at Liberty Park at the New World Trade Center. It was commemorated in 2002 with an "eternal flame" The imagery of the current state of the world at large and where this is heading is noteworthy according to Jude who speaks of a coming eternal flame.

But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

— Jude 5-7

Once again it should be noted that copper/bronze in the Bible is symbolic of judgment.

Fritz Koenig a German artist designed the piece with this motto in mind.

"world peace through world trade"11

It was assembled in Bremen West Germany which is part of a Hanseatic league. According to Wikimedia Commons, A Hanseatic city was...

a commercial and defensive confederation of merchant guilds and market towns in Northwestern and Central Europe...Merchant circles established the league to protect the guilds' economic interests and diplomatic privileges in their affiliated cities and countries, as well as along the trade routes which the merchants used. The Hanseatic cities had their own legal system and operated their own armies for mutual protection and aid. Some modern cities still identify as Hanseatic in memory of their trade history.

The prophet Ezekiel presents a scathing report against the prince of Tyre who became full of pride through amassing wealth and riches through trading to his own demise. An interesting capture can be obtained by overlaying the account of Adam in the original garden scene and this confrontational piece. It reveals both what happened at the forbidden tree as well as the inner workings of a future world-system driven by pride and merchandising.

“By the abundance of your trading
You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned;
Therefore I cast you as a profane thing
Out of the mountain of God;
And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,
From the midst of the fiery stones.

“Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground,
I laid you before kings,
That they might gaze at you.

“You defiled your sanctuaries
By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading;
Therefore I brought fire from your midst;
It devoured you,
And I turned you to ashes upon the earth
In the sight of all who saw you.

— Ezekiel 28

We can see once again through an Old Testament prophet who describes a beginning that parallels the end.

"It's a Conspiracy" They Say

The Conspiracy of evil is nothing new. It all began when humankind cooperated with evil rather than God.

The conspiracy that God makes an issue with, surprisingly, isn't with governments or secret societies, the issue, instead, is taken up with the unfaithful hearts of His people.

And the Lord said to me, “A conspiracy has been found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them

— Jeremiah 11:9-10

The story hasn't changed. There is no conspiracy against the Lord that can stand. It has only been because of mankind's alliance with evil that we are where we are.

There is no wisdom, nor understanding,
nor counsel to oppose Yahweh.

— Proverbs 21:30

We aren't doing ourselves any favors by immersing ourselves in these theories because it eliminates us, and our responsibility to this equation. It, also, creates an "us against them" mentality when God is really calling all of humankind to repentance.

The Great Falling Away

I think it's fair to say that we have entered into the time of the great falling away discussed in II Thessalonians.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped

— II Thessalonians 2:3-4

According to Gallop News,

"Half of Americans are church members, down from 70% in 1990.

Several megachurch leaders and musicians are walking away and publicly renouncing their faith.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons

— I Timothy 4:1

This leads us to another sign of the times and a valid question that relates to this falling away.

when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

— Luke 18:8

In conclusion, the question to ask is are we ready for this because ready or not here it comes.

We know who is behind the scenes in all this dark and chaotic mess. At the end of the book of Job, God discusses a dragon creature, similar to the one in Revelation 20, and in His description, He makes an interesting connection with how mankind gives him access.

He beholds every high thing;
He is king over all the children of pride.

— Job 41:34

On a more practical note, God does not ask us to attempt to change the system through protest or politics. Evil must run its course. Jesus never made an issue with Rome. His issue was always with the hearts of mankind as it is to this very day.

His desire for us is good, but good cannot be realized outside of a relationship with Him. This relationship was made possible through the sacrificial trade of His one and only Son for us. He forgave us in that transaction and made it possible for us to dwell with Him eternally.

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him

— II Corinthians 5:21

God told us these things would happen ahead of time, not so we could design bunkers and stockpile food or weapons for the purpose of self-preservation, but that we would be faithfully serving Him at all times and in all things.

See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass . . . “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth

— Matthew 24:45-51

The main point is that Christ is coming soon and we won't want to be found sleeping on the job.

Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

— Mark 13:33-37

Prayer and forsaking evil is what God asks for in this time and this place.

But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

— Luke 21:34-36

God, too, has a book of records that will be brought to account at the end of all things and anything not blotted out by the precious blood of Jesus Christ will be judged.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

— Revelation 20:12

If this seems judgmental or oppressive, it does not compare to the oppressive, unrighteous, and merciless exposure that will occur at the hands of the evil behind our ever-accumulating idols lying resident within this system.

It is in regard to these times that Jesus, in Matthew 25, discusses two parables.

One of them refers to ten virgins who are waiting for the return of a bridegroom. five of them keep their lamps filled with oil and five of them think there is a longer time frame before he returns and, therefore, don't bother to keep their lamps filled but instead fall asleep. At the last minute, the sleepers asked the faithful waiters for some oil, but there wasn't enough for all . . .

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut

— Matthew 25:10

Keeping lamps filled with oil is a metaphor for maintaining their spiritual lives by being full of God's Spirit at all times.

In both the Noah and Lot narratives, a door was shut when the time was up.

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation

— II Corinthians 6:2

We ought to be more concerned with the state of our spiritual condition than our physical preservation.

The second parable concerned investments. Three men were given talents to invest on behalf of the master while he went away with a promise of returning at an unannounced time. One was given five, the second was given two, and the third was given one. When the master returned the first two faithfully doubled their investment. The third buried his with no thought of profiting his master but only preserving what was given to him. He hoarded it as if it belonged to himself.

We are here in this time and place for a reason and it isn't for self-preservation or personal profit. We are here to glorify our God.

The God who made the world and everything in it he is Lord of heaven and earth—does not live in shrines made by hands. Neither is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything since he himself gives everyone life and breath and all things. From one man he has made every nationality to live over the whole earth and has determined their appointed times and the boundaries of where they live. He did this so that they might seek God, and perhaps they might reach out and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring. Since we are God’s offspring then, we shouldn’t think that the divine nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image fashioned by human art and imagination. “Therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, God now commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has set a day when he is going to judge the world in righteousness by the man he has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

— Acts 17

He has a victorious plan that is God-glorifying, and our main focus ought to be to cooperate with God in that plan. We are to live in faith and confidence that God is control of all of it.

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

— Romans 13:11‭-‬14

to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, now and in all the ages. Amen.

— Jude 1;25

      Hi Bill,

I appreciate your taking the time to read such a lengthy presentation. I realize that it is most likely an overwhelming amount of information, and it perhaps would have been an easier read in parts, but I didn't want to lose the thread that ran through it by breaking it up. None of it stands alone.

I have to say that all of these discoveries have been personally eye-opening as well as convicting. I do believe that this is a good thing. I hope that it inspires introspection in others and not just an external interest in the development. It's so easy to do be distracted that way.

I appreciate your affirmation for the Scripture back up. I, many times, question how much to insert without rewriting the entire Bible. : )

God bless you, Bill! Your input is always well respected.

Tammy, this is incredible. I could never take so much information and organize it like you do. Your love for doing research shows, and you've used so much scripture to back it up. Thank you.
