The End of the World, When Will it Happen?

Updated on March 18, 2011

End of the World

The Revelation

What Signs to Look For

Let's get one issue out of the way before we begin. When I am talking about the end of the world it has to do with the ones that are still alive at the time it ends. The world will have already ended for the dead.

There are many quotes in The Bible that talks about what will happen before the world will end but there is no real conclusion as to when it will take place. There are lot's of things that have been said about what will happen before the world ends according to The Bible such as wars and roumors of wars, Matthew 24:thu 8 "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these [are] the beginning of sorrows." Matthew 24:36 "But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." So as I have determined, based on The Bible there is no real answer. There are lots of things that have always taken place even in Bible times and in history such as Brother against brother and one marrying a wife only to have someone else take her virginity but here is when it gets interesting. As man becomes more intelligent and more modern discoveries begin to take place, the ability to divide and conquer is enhanced. It has often been thought that Babyon is America. This is related to the end times and that is why I mention this because it all seems to start from the fall of a dominate super power. There is no real way of knowing that. However you can see that as things begin to develop around the world it could be possible that with the end of the world that America could fall. We are involved in 2 wars and could become involved in more crisis around the world. What is going on in the middle east could have an effect as to what can happen here as we become spreaded thin as we become tied up in more and more world events. With the occurences of earthquakes and tsunamis which dissrupt operations of nuclei plants causing mass death which could lead to crime hunger, and possible intervention by outsiders which mean no good could very well trigger other events such as war. Here you can begin to understand how divide and conquer plays a major part in a possible end to the world.

Misapplication of Science and Technology.

As I had written in another article, the possibility of technology being misapplied with the intention of controlling and dominating society in such ways as exploiting the races and the rich and the poor in an attempt to gain political control and dominance could very well create mass confussion as to who is really in control of any nation at any given time thus making wars and famine a real threat to the world as governments collapse and economies break down.

What conclussion can we draw from this?

The conclussion is that however John of the Bible or Nostradamus, either which could have been taken out of context to entice us and facinate us with what we prefer to believe, could unwhittingly have some kind of relevancy because we can relate to it. I believe the events taking place today, the unrest, the earthquakes, changes in the weather, disasters which  are eather man made or nature related are all contributing factors as to the end of the world for those who remain alive. While the earth could remain a mumber of years after all life has ended and may itself not be totally destroyed at that time, life as we know it will. However the nagging question is when? The only ones that can tell us when will not be around and the others of us will have long since perished.

Final analogy

Since the dead tell no tales and know of nothing,

“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. As well their love, as their hatred and their envy, is perished long ago; neither have they any more a portion for ever in anything that is done under the sun” (9:5-6).

Then the final analogy is that no one, not man, not even the angels in heaven if you accept that, knows when the world will end. We can only conclude that the world will end as we know it and no one will be the wiser because no one will be left to record it and even then it would make no difference to anyone.

I agree, the earth is getting older and fragile due to human destruction. Forest destroyed, islands sinking, earthquake, tsunami, tornado, and many things as a sign to us
