Truly, presence of the Light makes existence of life possible. The Light is what we need to overcome the darkness of this world. Force of the Light births a better life. This is to understand that living in the Light is living in abundant life, victory and in greater glory. Also, to know the Light we all need to live better and end well.

The Scriptures say "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” - John 8:12.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.....The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him." - John 1:5-10.

It will interest everyone to know that Jesus Christ is the Light of God being talked about. We all know the work of natural light which illuminates our surroundings. But we have the supernatural Light in the person of Jesus who is better and consistently giving abundant life that can not be found anywhere, in any god or mortal man except in Jesus who is the Light of the Most High God. By Him we have abundant supply of everything good we need to live well, be it good food, health, shelter, weather etc. Even all other creatures are being taken care of by the Light for our good and for God's pleasure.

What are the works of the Light of God?

I. To give life in abundance to His own (John 10:10b);

ii. To save soul from the darkness of this world;

Iii. To show everyone the way of Light that overcomes darkness (John 14:6);

iv. To give everlasting peace by the force of Light;

v. To destroy the works of darkness by the power of God' Light (1 John 3:8b);

How can We Experience the Power of the Light?

a. Believing the Light of God in person of Jesus Christ (John 1:12);

b. Worshipping the Father of Light through His Son Jesus in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24);

c. Living in holiness and total obedience to His Word;

d. Preaching and Testifying about the Light of God;

e. Desiring and living in the Light of God always.

f. Studying the Word of God to know more of the Light;

g. Declaring His God with a believing heart and Confessing positively;

h. Asking God for manifestation of His Light in your life and be willing to walk in His ways.

In conclusion, when you consistently create time to know more of the Light of God, He will continually manifest the power of His Light in your life and in everything that concerns you. Always remember that to live in the Light is to live in abundant life, in revelation of His Word for victory and in His glory. Moreover, it is only in the Light of God that everything good you desired and hoped for is guaranteed and done well as declared in Jesus' Name.

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." - Colossians 1:27. Shalom!
