Bearing The Fruits of Acceptable Praise.

Updated on August 4, 2014
Praising the Lord, Always.
Praising the Lord, Always.

Praise Him ,praise Him.

According to the New Illustrated Webster's Dictionary Praise means, "To express approval and commendation of; applaud, eulogize". To express adoration of; glorify (God, etc).Commendation expressed, as of a person for his virtues, or concerning meritorious actions; utterance of approval; honor given; also, applause. . Thanksgiving for blessings conferred; laudation to God; worship expressed in song. The object, ground, reason, or subject of praise.

"My praise shall be of You in the great assembly; I will pay My vows before those who fear Him." (Psalms 22:25)
"And the twenty four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, "Amen! Alleluia!" Then a voice came from the throne, saying, 'Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!' " (Revelation 19:4-5)

Praise is a form of worship, which involves the whole aspect of our awe, reverence, love, and respect for Almighty God.Praise is medicine for the soul.

Every living soul praise the Lord , the primary purpose God created men and women is for Him to obtain praise worthy notes from them. Man was made to worship the Lord, man was made to praise His name, man was made to lift up His name, this is the whole duty of men[both women]

Ecclesiastes- 12:13 Says “ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil”

Deutronomy 6:2-3.

That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey

Deutronomy 10:12

And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,”

This is practically why man was made and country gospel music artist, bro Chucks Nwosu in a Cd titled “The Battle Is The Lord's “confirmed in one of the numbers “The Whole Duty of Man”. He insisted that to praise the Lord and worship the Lord and do His will” remains the whole duty of man while still living on earth.

How to give God acceptable praise is what every keen observer must have learnt from the Psalmist. We need to follow and flow in the noble examples of the psalmist in various postures—Posture for war,he pullled the strings to praise the Lord, Posture for peace, he pulled the strings to praise the Lord, posture of famine he pulled his strings to praise the Lord, horrible and bitter days, he pulled the strings and praised the Lord, and at all times, he pulled the strings to praise the Lord.

Psalm 34:1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.>>” I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

The believer amongst others must praise the Lord at all times like King David- because ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; “that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” 1 Peter 2;9.

God must be honoured and must be the focus of our praises. No popular worldly musician should be

The Focus of Praise.

object of focus and of praise from us, it must be God not that musician, or those artists. Remember that those who enter the gates of God almighty are those who know how to worship and praise Him, for what He has done for them and others. You must enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise as this song stresses.

I will enter His gates

With thanksgiving in my heart

I will enter His courts with praise

I will say this a day, that the Lord has made

I will rejoice for He has made me glad

Chorus

He has made me glad,

I am so glad,

I will be glad for

He has made me glad----

He has made me glad

I am so glad,

I will be glad for

He has made me glad.

Modern praise singers, gospel artists are simply out of tunes and order. We are enjoined to make a joyful noise to the Lord, not an empty noise. I call it empty noise for the Lord when you play and dance what the world yarns for. When you sing and dance and exhibit dance steps and body maneuvers that promote sexy gestures and personal ego, rather than God. It is empty because it has no spiritual nutrient to feed the soul, it is empty because it misleads the young believers and even the old as well as the bench warmers, to follow the tunes that lands them into hell fire, it is empty because it paints a different picture of Jesus, it is empty because it portrays Satan than it does to the image of the most righteous one [Jesus Christ.] It is empty because you have transferred worldly music better played at the night clubs into the music that should be played in the churches.

Therefore it remains empty because it lacks spiritual meaning, it is empty because God is not in them, Jesus might be repeatedly mentioned in the music, but the actual spiritual food the believer's soul is yearning for is lacking due to the infusion of worldliness.

It is empty because the main purpose of playing the music was not to praise God in spirit and in truth but to make money.

True praise yields fruits because it is capable of attracting heaven's attention to the singers and the listeners.

It purges the singers and the fans of their sins and demonic possessions-

1Samuel- 16:16

“Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.” The demons troubling the king were crushed and Saul was let loose as soon as David pulled the strings and praised the Lord.

1Samuel 16:23

“And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.” Songs full of spiritual nutrients refreshes the troubled and even the demon possessed souls like that of king Saul in this episode.

1Samuel -- 18:10

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand”.The soul of man like that of Soul of a truth needs the trumpet sounds ,booming in praise of God Almighty.

1Samuel-- 19:9

“And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand”.Even while David was playing away the evil spirits in king Saul, he still sought occasion to murder him with javelin.

Any praise that attracts heaven, where ever it is sounded is acceptable to heaven and brings victory in spiritual warfare.

Acceptable praise sets believers free from constant harassment and attack from the masquerading enemy 1 Samuel 16;14-23.

Praises shakes the foundations of captivity and opens prison doors for Satan's prisoners to celebrate their ready-made victory in Christ.

Acts 16;25-26..

-”And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.”

Ac 4:31; 5:19; 12:7,10

Acceptable praise must be shouted in righteousness, holiness and the fear of God.

It must be shouted louder if it must bring down the walls of Jericho round and about us Joshua 11;30.

Acceptable praise draws the doors of favour and breakthrough open for the praise singer.

They are clothed with the powerful garment of praise.

You please God when people repent through your songs and praises, choruses and holy chants.

Acceptable praise leaves heaven's gates open for your prayers, you will never experience closed heaven. Etc

Prayers.

God only accepts praises coming from holy lips, holy lives and a life dedicated to serving and praising Him.

  1. Father, I want to praise you , but I know that if my life is not lived in your fear and respect, if I am not living a life that pleases you , my sacrifice of praise is in vain, therefore I pray thee Oh Lord, forgive my sins, wash me clean, beautify my life with the gift of salvation, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

  13. Let me not hide i n the sin of fornication, adultery and worldliness and etc, and still pull a loud shout of praise in the mighty name of Jesus.

  14. Let me never shout and praise to please the world, let every form and temptation to go worldly vanish from me in the name of Jesus.

  15. The sacrifice of praise is the fruit of my lips and heart, may my lips and my heart never fail to produce this spiritual fruit in the mighty name of Jesus.

  16. May my heart through my lips be loaded with edifying lyrics and the almighty God, sit comfortably

in His heavenly places inhabiting the praises I render unto Him in the name of Jesus.

  17. I command any demonic oppression in my life to bow to the authority of the name and blood of Jesus Christ through the praise I give him.

  18. Let the foundation fo darkness and captivity in my life be destroyed through the spirit of praise and the name and blood of Jesus.

  19. From today as I shout and pull the musical strings all in the praise of my maker, let the stubborn problems and the Jericho walls in my life be pulled to the ground in the mighty name of Jesus.

  20. Let me learn how to season my warfare prayers with praises that mojve mountains, in the mighty name of Jesus.

  21. I command to be set free from any demonic, cultic and or altar embarassment in the name of Jesus.

  22. Let me never, Oh Lord, praise you in vain in the mighty name of Jesus.

I praise God to glorify Him, I praise God to lift up His holy name, I praise too worship Him, I commit my life to praising and worship Him for He is good, His mercies endureth for ever,

This is the world duty of men to praise the Lord, and worship His name and do His will and this must be done in righteousness, lifting up holy hands and leading the sinful world back tot the creator through our praises.
