The Holy Spirit .... It is the part that can be in all of us.

Updated on May 4, 2017

Holy Spirit

Jesus told the Apostles that He was leaving a Helper behind for them. He left a part of Himself for all of us. That Helper was the Holy Spirit. It is the part that is in all of us. It is the part that is indeed the very best of us. It is the part that shows compassion and mercy in every situation imaginable. The power of the Spirit can and is manifested in all of us. We must be reborn of the Spirit to have true communion with God and be united with Him in Heaven for all eternity. The power of the Holy Spirit is just plain incredible. God keeps providing endlessly, consistently and constantly. Even when we think He is not providing He most certainly is providing. We receive blessing after blessing. It is important to not take so much for granted but be thankful for the abundance of blessings that we receive. Even the little things. Right down to our everyday lives. God is so faithful and so good to all of us. He provides Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice for our sin and He gives us the Holy Spirit to do His will. One does not have to be empty as this cruel world tries to dictate but rather can be filled with the Holy Spirit and can be so close to our amazing Lord. He provides constant and consistent provision. He is the Great Provider. So we have to tap into this incredible power that God is providing. The Holy Spirit can take us to places that are well beyond that of human cognition, human comprehension, the human condition and the human spirit. It will inspire you to put others ahead of yourself and put others needs ahead of our own. Indeed to be selfless rather than selfish. You can feel the Holy Spirit at work when He is present. God's Spirit is so incredibly good and His love for us is absolutely enormous. If you indeed decide to let Him work in your life then He will indeed do just that. He will work and you will feel His Spirit at work. Each of us reaps what you sew. So we have to sew well and love, honor and respect each other just as Jesus commanded us to do. Let His Holy Spirit work in you. Be part of the solution not part of the problem. Get this right as this is as real as it will ever get and it is integral to the condition of your soul and to your salvation. This is not a drill but is the real thing. The Holy Spirit is knocking on your door ... will you let Him in? He has done all of the hard work so all you need to do is invite Him inside with an open and loving heart. Watch His Holy Spirit work wonders in your life. Here are some verses on the Spirit:

Micah 3:8 But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord.

John 3:6 That which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Romans 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

God bless always.
