The Kingdom Expansion Initiatives of Satan within the Church System

Updated on April 6, 2015

There are two kingdoms that are being taught within the "church" sphere with two distinct paradigms. One is becoming scarcer, and the other is taken on momentum. Many understand the concept of what building the “kingdom” means, but many don’t realize that kingdom that they are partaking of and promoting is a counterfeit one. There has been a great paradigm shift that is taken place and many “church” movements are embracing and operating in the kingdom expansion initiatives of Satan that have absolutely nothing to do with the Kingdom of God.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” - Matthew 16:19

The apostles of Jesus Christ were given the keys to the kingdom of God, which resulted in preaching the Gospel and serving the ekklesia by administering to their needs. Every new creation through the grace of Jesus Christ became bound to His kingdom, but those who rejected true doctrine were separated from fellowshipping with the ekklesia due to their lifestyle of sin, unrepentance and false teaching.

False teachers and ministers have infiltrated the “church” by redefining religious words to sound Biblical in nature, but are far from it. Many have been lured in and brainwashed to a paradigm that is far from God’s kingdom.

False peace and "unity"
False peace and "unity"

Dominionism/ Thy Kingdom Now

Dominionism is a belief system where the “church” is called to take over the governing systems of the world. The doctrine is rooted in the earth with the basis that the “church” must have dominion over it by changing it before Jesus Christ can return. It is a belief that the “church” is Christ on earth with a goal of bringing in a universal one-world government that will be governed by dominionist leaders for Jesus. Through social justice initiatives and interfaith unity, reformation “Christians” will attempt to solve the issues of disease, poverty, injustice, crime, education, etc…in the world.

These false doctrines take the wrong focus of looking around to seeing what can be done on earth rather than looking up to Jesus Christ and being obedient to what He has already called His ekklesia to do. Dominionists believe that they are the New Israel, and that all the blessing that was promised to Israel from Old Testament prophecy is now attributed to them. In contrast, Scripture reveals that God has promised specific blessings for the literal nation of Israel in Old Testament prophecy in the future that hasn't been fulfilled yet. Dominionism attempts to rob Israel’s inheritance and ignores God’s future plans to bless His remnant.

Dominionism states that Jesus Christ will not return until the “church” has cleaned up the earth by having total dominion over it. Many are deceived into believing that planetary salvation will come though the organisation and preparation for global dominion.

One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. – Revelation 13:3-4

For the Dominionist agenda to succeed, there must be unity among men with a strong emphasis on ecumenism. It is obvious through the synthesis of eastern worship practices, witchcraft, the occult, Islam, mysticism, Roman Catholicism that liberal apostasy is happening right in front of our eyes. Dominionist leaders promote their extra Biblical prophecies incorporated with programs and mixed forms of “worship” to be effective in deluding the masses into following after the Antichrist spirit to bring in what they believe to be a universal kingdom of “God.”

Thy Kingdom Come

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. – Matthew 6:9-10

When someone becomes a true believer in Jesus Christ, His kingdom is established within their hearts with an understanding that His kingdom will manifest physically during the Millennium when He returns, but at this point in time the dominion of the earth (wordly kingdom) has been given over to the rule Satan.

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. – Colossians 1:13-14 --------(spiritual kingdom of God)

Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. – 1 Corinthians 15:24 -------(physical kingdom of God)

And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, and said to him, “To you I will give all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. – Luke 4:5-6 ------- (worldly kingdom)

We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. – 1 John 5:19 -------(worldly kingdom)

These few verses above make the distinction between those who are promoting Thy Kingdom Now (Dominionism) doctrine that is built on the works of man, which is of Satan, or Thy Kingdom Come, which is a doctrine built exclusively on the work of of Jesus Christ.

“Thy kingdom come” that Jesus spoke of is completely different paradigm from Dominionism.

The ekklesia believes in responding to the words and commands of Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel to a dying world by His grace and disciple those who come to know Him. They realize that they are not Christ, but are the body of Jesus Christ who are God’s children that are eagerly anticipating His return when He establishes His theocracy on earth. True Christians are not called to clean up the world and “save the planet,” but are to be obedient to His words by walking out the Great Commission.

“Thy kingdom come” has nothing to do with the “unity” that man is selling, but the desire only to be in one accord with Jesus Christ that does not promote man’s abilities and programs, but establishing God’s spiritual kingdom in the hearts of those who are willing to hear His truth. It is not up to man to physically establish God’s kingdom on earth, but it will be when Jesus Christ returns. It is all about adhering to His words with the understanding that the true spiritual Kingdom is being established by Him in individual hearts, and after His second coming, His physical Kingdom and throne will be established on earth during the Millennium. The spiritual kingdom of God consists of those who are rooted in the word of God rather than in the sophistry of men.

Another Gospel/ False Revival

Dominionists preach a seeker friendly and social gospel that appeals to just about everyone. It relies on a top down hierarchical structure run by “elite” individuals with a goal to make the world perfect before Jesus Christ returns. A closer look at Scripture reveals the opposite as with each day things are waxing worse.

The Dominionist "churches" promote “revival,” but the question is, “revival” to what? What has any "revival" done from the past to where the nation(s) are now? The "revival" to preach the Gospel to the world has been rejected by most and replaced with the Antichrist “gospel” that is about unscriptural unity that appeals to man and his own ability and ways to attain God. The Dominionist movement is a tool of Satan to accomplish ecumenicalism.

There have been many so-called revival movements that have come and gone, such as the Toronto Blessing and the Pensacola Outpouring, and many other additions that are being advertised within the “church” sphere today.

Preparing for the Antichrist

The Dominionists cannot believe in the catching up of the saints, the great tribulation, or the Antichrist because they believe that they are the ones called to take over the planet for Jesus Christ. Once they have captured it by their “faith,” then He will return.

The Dominionist doctrines are deceiving those into believing there will be great “revival” coming. The deception is that the “revival” is coming, but it is about bowing to the agenda and “gospel” of the Antichrist. Scripture has already prophesied that most of the world will come to worship the Antichrist. Satan greatest deception is deceiving those into proclaiming Jesus’ name in spirit, but not in truth because he knows that it is an abomination to God. Prayer and salvation of souls is all in vain when it that against abiding in the principles of God’s Word.

The Dominionist system relies on elite “apostles” and “prophets” that require obedience and honor as they are specially “anointed” by God to dispense extra Biblical prophecies and revelations for a price. They believe they are above reproach and persecute the true followers of Jesus Christ when they weigh, test and discern their false messages for what they are. The Antichrist spirit is about control and enslavement of people who must work in alignment with the wolves in sheep's clothing to attain their Dominionist goals.

But test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil. – 1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. – 1 John 4:21

The "Gospel" of the AntiChrist

Scripture does not teach that there will be a great revival, or that that the whole world will choose to follow Jesus Christ; therefore, it should be clear that Dominionism is the “gospel” of the Antichrist. Most of the world right now is captive to the rule of spiritual Babylon that is under the dominion of Satan, including all the modern “churches.” The ekklesia are not called to establish a Utopian paradise on earth, but to eagerly prepare and anticipate the coming of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, many do not recognize that the time that we are in is not about making for ourselves a physical Kingdom of God on earth, but about expanding His spiritual Kingdom in the hearts of individuals.

The New Age Dominionist doctrine teaches that we can become like God who will reign over the world as a divine beings. Charismatic teachers and New Age gurus are in perfect harmony with the Antichrist gospel by striving to take over the world. Dominionism does not leaving the work to Jesus Christ, but to the agenda of Satan.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” – Matthew 4:8-9

Satan has dominion over the world until Jesus Christ returns to establish His Kingdom and end his rule once and for all. When we usurp the will of Jesus and do things our own way, we only add to Satan’s empire, even if we are doing it in Jesus’ name. The ekklesia are called to do the will of God as man, not as gods.

On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ – Matthew 7:22-23

Power and Wealth

Dominionists believe that they can receive special divine powers and through them you can become like God. We do not have complete authority and divinity over the earth. We are made in the image of God, but we are not God; big distinction. They believe that we are all little gods that can attain the same authority as Jesus Christ through building a “divine” kingdom on earth. Many are duped into believing that if they sow their seeds of “faith” by giving money to these “anointed” ministries they can attain god-like status too through their Gnostic revelations.

Don’t be duped these wolves in sheep’s clothing who live lavish lifestyles off of your hard earned money so that they can build their “divine” kingdom on earth through their lust and greed.

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And you know what is restraining him now so that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.- 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12

To believe that man can attain God-like status is the way of the Antichrist. It manifests in seeking after power through lying signs and wonders that are falsely attributed to the work of the Holy Spirit. False ministers that are "anointed" through the impartation of the spirits of Satan are deceiving the masses that the way to Jesus Christ is attained through "divine" miracles and sign gifts.

The Ekklesia

The ekklesia functions by testing of all spirits and teachings with the Word of God. That is the only tool in discerning what the truth is from lies. Without testing, there will be deception; it is that simple. Having living water flowing through our hearts exposes deception, which makes delusions that want to corrupt people’s hearts more difficult to spread. The denial of testing will allow Satan to invade and take people into spiritual captivity.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. – Matthew 7:19-20

It is important to understand that works done in the name of Jesus Christ does not automatically equate to being from God, or obedience to Him. Many false ministries operate under the power of evil spirits and deceiving doctrines in Jesus' name. A true follower of Jesus Christ is about obedience to truth and love that is in His Spirit.

"Just accept my mark and I will bring you peace"
"Just accept my mark and I will bring you peace"

Universal Kingdom equates to One-World Order

The false universal kingdom of Dominionism would ultimately require a rule of law by a government that headed and policed by elite “Christian” leaders. This essentially would be mirror image of Romanism that would require all peoples to submit to it. A type of religious Old Testament Law model would have to be introduced that would governing standard of all rules and regulations. The problem with this scenario is that Scripture reveals that no Law can save mankind, nor will ever bring peace and righteousness to the planet.

But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code. – Romans 7:6

A one-world government is the only logical conclusion to Dominionist doctrine of planetary salvation. Scripture reveals that planetary salvation of false peace is Satan’s plan for universal domination on earth, not obedience to Jesus Christ.

A closer look a Dominionist doctrine reveals that they must deny end-time prophecies of apostasy, tribulation and the Antichrist. The outcome of prophesied tribulation is twisted into triumph before Jesus Christ returns. How can they reconcile the words of Jesus Christ?

For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. – Matthew 7:14

I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” – Like 18:8

The Bible does not say that Jesus Christ will not return till the "church" has put all their enemies underneath their feet, nor does it say that the purification of the Bride of Christ is in the hands of “elite” Dominionist leaders. The way of their doctrine is in support of interfaith unity with all other different religions and denominations that must come and work together with social justice initiatives to save the planet. Unity in the modern “church” is in opposition to being in one accord with Jesus Christ. The conclusive outcome leads to bowing to the idolatry of modern “church” over obedience to Jesus Christ.

The "Golden" Age of Revivals

We are not living in a golden age of revival, but in the ramping up of the Antichrist spirit that wants to have dominion over all peoples. Anyone that does not go with the flow of empire building must conform or be crushed in its path. The self-seeking arrogant leaders are closed to Biblical correction and have been given over to reprobate minds. Jesus Christ has commissioned the seekers of truth to preach the true Gospel in this climate even though we are heading towards the days of Noah once again. Greed, corruption, immorality, etc… thrive in Dominionist doctrine that focuses on an earthly inheritance rather than storing up treasures in heaven. Their strong focus on worldly affairs has made them become lovers of it.

There are many sincere people who are caught up in this worldly system where the ultimate conclusion will be accepting the mark of the beast. It is a severe danger to anyone’s walk of faith unless they come to the revelation of truth that is in God’s Word through the working of the Holy Spirit.

Important. Please watch this whole clip.

Is your modern "church" building a Dominionist advocate?

Has your modern "church" leaders promoted incorporated ecumanism and socialism in their teachings, book promotions, and corporate worship practices?

It's so sad to see the world going the way you described, but I think your sentence sums it up quite well - "These false doctrines take the wrong focus of looking around to seeing what can be done on earth rather than looking up to Jesus Christ and being obedient to what He has already called His Church to do." Obedience and repentance is what's needed, but can't seem to be found.

Hello planksandnails, Blessed and prosperous 2014 ! We are here well informed, by your through and perfectly documented hubs . Thank you. My question, perhaps mainly to myself, where are the rest? Something isn't right; we do see deception within the popular christianize , some mega "churches" are fairly well propagating their success, others our friend and relatives even do not know how to accept our way of telling them the truth. recently in my conversation with " good' or some less "good" " christians- answering their curiosity why I'm not a " church goer" - plainly telling them that there isn't need for congregating in any of the building as long as we know and do ALL what the Messiah commanded "us"it is HIS DISCIPLES to. You are well inform what the answer is coming back :"no one is able to do that." Here we are brainwashed by the man's doctrine. To pray for them all ? Yes. However meanwhile I'm reminding everyone to remember the words they heard from the Gospel message, and to take them seriously, to act upon them before is too late.

      Up and interesting.

      Pax vobiscum.

Obedience and repentance are not found in the modern "church" because they preach another Jesus and a different gospel that focuses on the things of the earth. The reason that they are not found is that we are living in a time of great apostasy.

"Just as it was in the days of **NOAH**, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, just as it was in the days of **LOT**—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed." - Luke 17:26-30

Jesus gives two examples of the signs of His coming. I believe one sign is for the people of faith (the true Church) who obey what He has called them do with the fear of the Lord; they will not face His wrath, but will be caught up to meet Him. The other group will be the remnant of Israel and the Tribulation martyrs who will go through the time of God's wrath. During this time the modern "church," which is the spiritual representation of Sodom will be consumed with God's fiery wrath, just the same as in the days of Lot.

People need to be warned, but many are too afraid to speak up. We must have the fear of God over the fear of man if God can in any way use us. We cannot play "church" anymore; it is a matter of life and death. The true Gospel is not a popularity contest, but a call to repent and reconcile with our Creator. Many do not want to hear this message as it is in direct opposition to the popular traditions of man.

      Michael Milec,

I believe you answered your own question,

(" However meanwhile I'm reminding everyone to remember the words they heard from the Gospel message, and to take them seriously, to act upon them before is too late.")

The Gospel message is quite simple, but what is most important of all is to be obedient and act upon it. Once you throw away the traditions of man, there is freedom and clarity in what we are truly called to do.

I believe the hardest people group to reach for the true Gospel are those caught up in the religious traditions of man. They are defiant and stiff-necked even when the evidence of Truth is right in front of them. They would rather remain ignorant in their bliss.

We are in a time where God still has mercy on those who repent, but it will soon come to an end. That is why it is of the utmost importance to spread the message before this age of grace comes to an end.

Thank-you for reading and doing your part in spreading the Truth. Counting the cost will be worth it in the end. God Bless you.

PandN- I don't believe that what I'm about to expalin has been realized or understood by many but I hope it will help give some insight to the difference between the understanding of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of satan.

In our early history of man there was a time when God did appoint a single man as King over all the kings of the earth. This King ruled over ever man on earth. I realize this may sound unbiblical but in fact I can quote the verses that prove my point. I direct your attention to Daniel 2: 37-38 (NKJV) which states: 37 You,O King, are a King of Kings. For God of heaven has given you a KINGDOM, power, strenght, and glory; 38 and WHERE EVER THE CHILDREN OF MEN DWELL, OR THE BEAST OF THE FIELDS; OR OF BIRD OF HEAVEN, HE HAS GIVEN THEM INTO YOUR HANDS. AND HAS MADE YOU RULER OVER THEM ALL-- you are this head of gold.

This verse above describes the words of Daniel spoken to King Nebuchadnezzar who was the King of Babylon. Many christian do not realize the importants of this statement made by Daniel. By these words King Nebuchadnezzer had been made ruler of all the earth. Again he states " Where ever the children of men dwell" this indicates all of mankind. The Kingdom of Babylon then at that time covered the entire earth because God had made him King of Kings. He ruled every thing.

It was known that for a time King Nebuchadnezzer was evil and had ruled with an iron fist. However, events cause King Nebuchadnezzer to change his attitude and changed his evil ways. He even accepted the God of heaven and realized God's Kingdom as described in Daniel 4: 34-37 (NKJV) which states: 34 And at the end of time, I Nebucadnezzer lifted my eyea ti heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives of ever. For His dominion is an everlasting dominion and HIs KINGDOM is from generation to generation. 35 And all inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His willin the SRmy of heaven. An among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, " what have You done? 36 At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my Kingdom, my honor, and slendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, andexcellent majesty was added to me. 37 Now, I, Nebuchadnezzer praise and extol and honor the KING OF HEAVEN, all of whose works are truth, and His was justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

There are at least three import points in these verses that are noteworthy. First, is reveals Nebuchadnezzer's repentence. Second, He is the first gentile to realize, accept and understand the Kingdom of God. Third, These where the last recorded word of King Nebuchadnezzer in the bible. One can only assume that during the remainder of his rulership of Babylon Nebuchadnezzer continued his belief in the only one and true God. The Kingdom of Babylon, for a while a least, was ruled by a King who believe in God and His Kingdom.

But as the story line goes, that all change when Nebuchadnezzer's son name Belshazzar became King of Babylon upon his father's death.. Belshazzar was an evil King of Babylon until he died. Babylon had great evil pagan influence throughout the rest of the known world.

We now come to the point as to why does God use Babylon as described a thee Harlot in the book of Revelation. As with Babylon of anicent times was a Kingdom, so too is it now in spirit. Spiritual Babylon is a Kingdom. satan's dominion is spiritual Babylon. It is a Kingdom. his evil influence effects the entire world. Not just within false christian churches, but in all other religions and in all aspect of human life. The infuence of satan has effected all of us throughout history.

In Revelation 14: 8 (NKJV) it states in part: Babylon has fallen, that great city, because she has made ALL nations drink the wine of wrath of her fornication.

This verse is describing the " she as being a city" which I believe means Spiritual Babylon as a spiritual Kingdom. Not a church. Just like King Nebuchadnezzer had rulership of the entire earth at one time given to him by God. So too has satan TAKEN rulership and dominion of earth in spirit. Which is why I believe God refer to satans dominion as Babylon. If we read Revelation chapter 17 it describes the MOTHER OF HARLOTS sitting (or riding) on the beast. Her sitting on the beast means she has control over beast. This can only mean a Kingdom. It further mentions in Chapter 18 in verse 7 the Harlot refers to herself as Queen. With that said a queen does no rule over a church, but a Kingdom.

I believe there are a number of verses throughout the four gospels that clearly reveals the difference of God's Kingdom from that of satan's. So first I would like to quote two verse spoken by Jesus in John 18. 36-37 (NKJV) which states: 36 Jesus answed, " My Kingdom is not OF THIS WORLD. If my Kingdom were of this world my servents would fight, so that I should not be delievered to the Jews; but NOW my Kingdom is not from here. 37 Pilate therefore asked Him. Are you a King then? Jesus answered, " You say rightly that I am a King. For THIS REASON IT WAS BORN, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness TO the truth. Everone who is OF THE TRUTH hears my voice."

There are at least four important points here spoken by Jesus. First, Jesus did not say His Kingdom did not exist. He said "My Kingdom is not OF THIS WORLD. In context He was saying My Kingdom is not influence by the ways of this world. If my Kingdom was influenced by the ways of this world then His servents would fight to save Him. The second point Jesus states in 37 That He IS A KING. Not that He's going to be or He will be at a later date. But He was a King at the moment Pilate was speaking to Him. It should be made clear that Jesus had the Kingdom of God within Him. So at the time the Kingdom of God was on earth. And Jesus was standing on the earth. Jesus was in the world but not of the world. Jesus was not influence by satan's ways of the world. Jesus knew that He, Himself, was the Son of God and a King. The third point, Jesus explain " for this cause I have come to bear witness of the truth. Jesus came to reveal to the world God's Kingdom to bear witness of the truth of God's kingdom. He revealed as a witness throughout His ministry through words and deeds and example the existence of God's Kingdom through Himself. His actions, deed's and words were not OF THIS WORD. The Fourth point, Jesus stated " Everyone who is OF THE TRUTH, hears my voice." This is not talking about not telling a lie or just being truthful. This mean those who seek the Kingdom of God can hear his voice.

Throughout the four Gospels Jesus mentions or refers to the Kingdom of God 73 times. But what is important to note is that one must be spirit mind in order to understand the meaning behind His teachings of the Kingdom of Heaven (God). Jesus mentioned in Matthew 6.33 (NKJV) 33But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteosness , and all these things shall be added to you.

If is was not important then why would Jesus state "But seek FIRST"? Shouldn't seek the Kingdom of God be most important?

Do we have now citizenship in the Kingdom of GOD even though it's not yet on earth. Ephesians 2:19-20 (NKJV) states 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigner, but fellow CITIZENS with the saints and members of the Household of God 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.

I believe there are to many carnal minded christians who have no true understanding of God's word. The spirit of Babylon (satan) is embeded in the hearts and mind of man. Many don't realize satan's spiritual influence within many so called christian "churches." And that false doctrine is part of the Babylonian system. And why we should listen when God said, "Come out of HER my people."

If King Nebuchadnezzer can repent and realize the glory of God's Kingdom, then with the knowledge Jesus Christ has give us, so can we.

      God bless

Thank-you for such a great comment, which is an article in itself. You makes a good distinction between the wordly kingdom and God's Kingdom. Nebuchadnezzar was the king of kings in the context of earthly kings and God brought him against the king of Tyre who was possessed by Satan.

“For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I will bring against Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses and chariots, and with horsemen and a host of many soldiers. - Ezekiel 26:7

In the same way, Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords will return as a Lion and consume the religious idolatry, immorality, pride and greed of spiritual Babylon, which is under the rulership of Satan.

We must be prepared and understand the times we are living in. There is still time to preach the truth with a call to repentance. Unfortunately, the modern "church" is possessed the same spirit as the king of Tyre who attributed their own wisdom, strength and traditions.

I believe that the Old testament holds key connections of the prophecies and patterns (precept upon precept) that have give clarity for the end times. By looking deeper into the days of Noah and Lot, King Nebuchadnezzar and the King of Tyre, and Jesus Christ and the Antichrist, there are parallels between the manifestation of both the physical and spiritual events that reveal how these kingdoms manifest.

For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.” - Isaiah 28:10

There is the precept upon precept in the Old Testament concerning Israel and the Church. I believe that Church represents Noah, and Israel represents Lot.

The coming of Jesus Christ for the Church will parallel the days of Noah when he entered a prepared place before judgement of the earth.

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. - Isaiah 26: 19-20

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it. - Isaiah 45:8

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. - Genesis 7:1

The coming of Jesus Christ for Israel will parallel the days of Lot where he fled to a worldly refuge before judgement.

As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city. - Genesis 19:15

But Israel is saved by the LORD with everlasting salvation; you shall not be put to shame or confounded to all eternity. - Isaiah 45:17

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. - Joel 2:32

The problem with the dominionist "church" is that they cannot reconcile Israel and the Church as distinct entities in end-time prophecy, which brings considerable amount of confusion and delusion to the masses.

I believe the key to understanding Luke 17:26-30 is understanding the distinction between the days of Noah and Lot, but that may be whole other article in itself.

PandN- Your last comment is very insightful and the parallels as you described are amazing. And as you and I are fully aware there are so many more of them. This is one of the reasons why self study of God's word is so important. Thank you so much for sharing this Hub with us and I hope many more out there will learn from it as I did.

      Again God bless.
