The Church’s Final Call

It is not too late for you, my friend, to be part of the Church. The end of the Church age is approaching quickly. Sure, there will be those that come to salvation after the Church is gone. But how much better would it be to avoid the trouble and trials of the Great Tribulation.

More importantly than that, my friend, you do not have tomorrow. Now is the appointed time! Today is the day of salvation! You do not know what will happen tomorrow. You can only decide in the present.

So, do not waste the opportunity to make a decision for Christ. I do not know where you are with your relationship with the Messiah. You need to prove your salvation to yourself, whether you are in the faith or not.

If you are not sure of your eternal destiny, you need to make sure right now.

Call on Jesus, in prayer, for salvation.

  1. Confess your sin to God right now. Tell Him that you know that your sins have separated between you and Him.
  2. Confess your faith in the Jesus, the Lamb of God. Confess that you trust in His death, burial, and resurrection. He died and rose from the dead for you.
  3. Confess that you forsake all "other ways of salvation." Jesus is the only Way to the Father. You cannot get to Heaven by being good, being baptized a certain way, or by giving gifts to others or to a church. You cannot get to Heaven by your works.
  4. Ask God’s forgiveness by the blood of Jesus.
  5. Ask God to come into your life and give you the power and presence of the Holy Spirit of God.

Be baptized in obedience to God’s command.

  1. While this does not save you, it shows the world that you are saved.
  2. It identifies you with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection.

Join a Bible believing, Bible preaching Church.

  1. You need help in your new spiritual life.
  2. You need a place that will protect and guide you in becoming a disciple of Jesus.

The Church is still here, but it will not be here forever. I do not know how long God will allow you to become part of the Bride of Christ. But like God closed the door of Noah’s ark, so also God will soon close the door to Church membership. Many will be saved after that, but they will miss the blessed peace of being the Bride of Christ. Turn to God now, my friend. The days are coming when you will wish you had.

Part of the confusion that people experience on this is that they mix up the differences between the Church and Israel. We see that Israel is called the "wife" of Jehovah. But the Church is the "Bride" of Christ. The union between Jehovah and Israel is complete, where the union between Jesus and Church is still in the "engagement" phase by our reckoning. In other words we are waiting for our wedding day.

Israel has played the harlot, but the church will be presented as the spotless and virgin bride. God gave Israel a bill of divorcement. But the Church is waiting for the seven day "honeymoon" or bridal week as spoken of in the Scripture.

As for the last trump, there are many theories on just what that means. As for me, I have not problem with the church having a "last trump" and then Israel having a "last trump."

As for wrath, the whole seven year tribulation is the day of wrath, with the second half being the Great Tribulation.

Jesus said that the last day would be like Noah's day. Have you ever noticed that Noah was not taken out just before the judgment was upon the earth. Look back in Gen. and you will see that Noah went in. God closed the door. For 7 days the earth was breaking up, but the flood did not come for 7 days after the door was closed.

Notice, John saw a door open in heaven at the beginning of of the tribulation. The church is not mentioned again on the earth until the end of the book.

Why would God take the church for seven years? It is the wedding week for the church's wedding to the Church.

I have written something that will explore these things further. But I am not quite ready to publish it. Keep an eye out for "The Book of Witnesses."

Your message of salvation is right on, brother! Praise God. I would be interested to know about your profile statement (that the Father is the Husband to Israel and Chris is the Husband of the Bride of Christ). I believe Jesus is the Father in the flesh and that spiritual Israel is made up of all believers, whether Jew, Gentile, male, female, bond or free-man.

I would also like to read a hub about why you believe in a pre-trib rapture. Based on my studies I see Paul mention the last trump, which aligns with Rev 16:15 ~ resulting in the Church being here during the Tribulation, but raptured before the wrath of God is poured out, of which we are not appointed.

Bless you ~ I look forward to more and more!!
