The Legion of Mary, the force will defeat Satan and all of his associates

Updated on February 19, 2010

Once upon a time when Satan under his cover is the Serpent in the garden of Eden, lured and tempted Eva and Adam in the eating the forbidden Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which God did not permit them to eat. They saw themselves naked and hiding from the sight of God. God asked them about what they have done, Adam blamed Eva, and Eva blamed the Serpent. God cursed the snake and God said; “ There is a woman who will crust your head and you will try to bite her heel. You will only move by your belly and will eat dust in all of your life“

The woman God mentioned above is Mary, the mother of Jesus, God the Son.

Mary in the village of Nazareth 2010 years ago, when she said YES to the Angel Gabriel, and immediately The Word became Flesh and borned in her womb. She agreed to co-operate with Jesus in the plan of God’s salvation for us; she crushed the head of Satan and all of his associates, and brought us back to God’s Love again.

In the Catholics Churches today, there is The Legion of Mary which is a huge lay apostolate organization with over 10 million members around the world, they followed the work and the footstep of Mary as said:

“The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation, under ecclesiastical guidance, in Mary's and the Church's Evangelizing work of crushing the head of the serpent and advancing the reign of Christ.” The Pope John Paul II talked about The Legion of Mary on 1982:

“Yours is an eminently Marian spirituality, not only because the Legion glories in carrying Mary’s name as its unfurled banner, but above all because it bases its methods of spirituality and apostolate on the dynamic principle of union with Mary, on the truth of the intimate participation of the Virgin Mary in the plan of salvation. In other words you intend to render your service to every person, who is the image of Christ, with the spirit and the solicitude of Mary.”

Each member of The Legion of Mary quietly fought a fierce battle everyday with Satan and all of his associates, under the guidance of Mary, to bring many people back to God. Their charities works were very humble and quiet, but very efficient and effective works. For some example, we can look at one of Asian country, Korea which Catholics Church only has existed 100 years ago..

There is possibly no country in the world that has a Legion of Mary as active and as large as the Korean Legion of Mary. The Legion is the largest lay Catholic group in the Korean Church with about 300,000 active members and about a similar number of auxiliaries, and over 30,000 Presidia ( individual groups). There are very few parishes without a Legion.

The Legion of Mary is the most successful lay apostolic group in the Korean Catholic Church. It has made a tremendous contribution to Church development. It has helped Catholics mature in their faith, motivated them to participate in the work of the Church, gave them a taste for small group activity, helped them to understand the life of prayer and gave them a desire for learning and motivation to improve their life of Faith.

A chaplain for the Legion is quoted as saying that: " we can't think of the Korean Catholic Church without the Legion of Mary, and Korean lay Catholics' spirituality can naturally be thought of as the spirituality of the Legion of Mary."

The motherhood of Mary with the begotten-Son of the Father in the order of grace is wholly united spiritually and continues uninterruptedly; it is made manifest from the time of Her Immaculate Conception (The Incarnate Wisdom) to the moment of the Annunciation for Her Son’s Virginal Conception (The Incarnate Word), it is made manifest above all at the hour of Her Son’s passion up to Christ death on the cross. From the cross Jesus Christ gave His Mother to John the beloved (John: 19:26-27) which represents the humanity. People hardly understood the heavenly apparitions of the Mother of God all over the World. After Her Assumption to heaven and glorified by the Father through Her Son Jesus Christ, She came back in Her true nature, not as flesh but as Holy Spirit, conveying signs and wonders (Wisdom 10:16-17), prophesying cataclysmic events (Sirach 24:31), reminding people to conversion, condemning sin but nobody took notice (Prov..1:20-25). She have been conveying the message of God to the world: “My children, I, your most holy Mother, have come to ask for peace. I have come to earth in order to teach you to pray with love. This world will change with your prayers.” She perpetually reminds the teachings of Her Son Jesus: “Repent; forgive each other; pray with love and with the desire to encounter God; let God dwell in the deepest, most central part of your life; love each other as of the love of my Son Jesus to you; revive the holiness of the family; pray for peace; live peacefully and make peace; stop fighting against each other and join your forces and fight together for God.” She emphasize that we will experience happiness by loving one another and it is not the person without bread who is poor, but the person without God. She is destined to be with God forever but She do not see herself blessed than us; She said, “all who live in my Jesus are as blessed as I.” Our most Holy Mother speaks in many places over the entire world to go back to the merciful Father through the love of the only-begotten Son.

The Holy Spirit that the Father sent in His Son’s name (John 14:16) is being manifests as Motherly love and care, She (God’s Wisdom) entered the souls of the Lord’s servants (Wisdom 10:16) to which the faithful are being born from above (John 3:7) and always be with Her children as to newborn infants, long for pure spiritual milk so that through it we may grow liken to Her Son Jesus Christ (Christian, 1 Peter 2:2) through One, Universal, Holy and Apostolic Brotherhood of Christ (The Holy Catholic Christian Church) who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the final time (1 Peter 1:5).

The divine manifestations to open the mystery of the Holy Trinity through faith that our loving Mother is one with Her divine Son not only in the flesh but in the Holy Spirit as Father and Son are one. The Mother of the redeemer is acknowledge and honored as being truly the Mother of God, She is clearly the Mother of the members of Christ since She has by Her charity joined in bringing about the birth of believers in the Church, who are members of its head. “Mary, Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church” (Catechism 963). “The Mother of God is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress and Mediatrix” (Catechism 969, partial). “She (Wisdom) is chosen before the creation began (Proverbs 3:18-20 & 8:22-31), destined to bring through the light of Her dawning, conquest of satan and rescue to man: The Lord God said to the serpent; “I will put enmity between you and the Woman, and between your offspring and Hers; She will strike at your head, while you strike at Her heel” (Genesis 3:15) then the dragon became angry with the Woman and went off to wage war against the rest of Her offspring, those who keep God’s commandments and bear witness to Jesus (Revelation 12:17-18). Wisdom is their leader, though I had not known that She is the Mother of these” (Wisdom 7:12). Hosanna in the Highest! That the Third Person of the Most Holy Trinity is the Spirit of the Divine Wisdom as the Mother of God or God the Mother made flesh in Mary (Seat of Wisdom), One in Holy Spirit with our God the Father and God the Son. Thus, the Most Holy Trinity is FATHER, SON AND MOTHER; ONE HOLY SPIRIT as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen. “Nobody can say that “Jesus is Lord” if the Holy Spirit (The Divine Wisdom) is not dwelling in him (1 Corinthians 12:3) and no one comes to God the Father except through His only begotten-Son” (John 14:6). The fullness and union of God to the humanity as ONE HOLY FAMILY who brought restoration of life by giving mortal existence to the immortal God, so we may rise from our sins and restore to God’s friendship (The Divine Grace) and be the temple of the Holy Spirit as sons and daughters of God the Father and Mother through brotherhood of Jesus and Mary in Joyful and Sorrowful mysteries of our life that will lead us to the way of salvation that we hope for in Glorious Mysteries here on earth as it is heaven to praise the love and mercy of God forever.

Glory to God in the Highest and Peace to God’s People on Earth! Mother of God please come with us and speaks the Words of Wisdom, Let it be! The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” Let the hearer say, “Come.” Let the one who thirsts come forward, and the one who wants it receive the gift of life-giving water (Revelation 22:17). Motherlike She will meet you, like a young bride She will embrace you, nourish you with the Bread of Understanding, and give you the Water of Learning to Drink (Sirach 15: 1-3).

1 Thessalonians 5:19-21 “Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophetic utterances. Test everything; retain what is good. The faithful are encouraged to root their faith in sound Catholic teachings, the SACRAMENTS (The Holy Baptism, Confession/Reconciliation, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist/Sacrifice (Real Presence of Body and Blood of Christ during Holy Mass), Holy Matrimony/Marriage, Priesthood/Nuns/Single Blessedness & Anointing of the Sick), the MARIAN DEVOTIONS: Pray the Holy Rosary devoutly and wear the Scapular and the Miraculous Medal devotedly so the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be fulfilled for the glory of Sacred Heart of Jesus. Much spiritual growth can be gained from reading, studying and living the Holy Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the lives of Saints; spiritual conditioning and exercises such as: fasting and almsgiving, protect yourself to any vice and sin and live simply and peacefully to do the mission and God’s plan for us in His grace and mercy; these spiritual way of life and charity is providing a secure path towards God’s will and salvation. Let us pray unceasingly and stay together in joy and sorrow by respecting and loving one another for peace, salvation of souls and greater glory of God. Amen.

      Commentary Biblical Sequence of Events

of the Coming of God’s Wisdom and Word to dwell on Earth

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God (John 1:1), and the Lord begot Wisdom, the first-born of His ways, the forerunner of His prodigies of long ago (Proverbs 8:22) before all things else Wisdom was created (Sirach 1:4). God made all things by His Word and by His Wisdom He established man to rule the creatures and govern the world in holiness and justice (Wisdom 9:1-3). Wisdom is the supreme guide of men (Proverbs 4) therefore “Get Wisdom, Get Understanding! (Proverbs 4:5). Happy the man who finds Wisdom, the man who gains Understanding! (Proverbs 3:13). Blessed are those who live with the Wisdom and Word of God.

The beginning of Wisdom is fear of the Lord, which is formed with the faithful in the womb (Sirach 1:12) and the fullness of Wisdom is fear of the Lord; She inebriates Men with Her fruits (Sirach 1:14). God has traced out all the way of Understanding and has given Her to Jacob, His servant, to Israel, His beloved Son (Baruch 3:37 & Sirach 24:7-12). A great sign appeared in the sky, a Woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under Her feet, and on Her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with Child and wailed aloud in pain as She labored to give birth… (Revelation 12:1-18). Wisdom came down to earth and moved among men (Baruch 3:38) and brought with Her the Word of God in Her Immaculate Womb (Micah 5:2 / Isaiah 7:14 / Luke:26-28, 31-33 / John 1:14). (Therefore the Lord will give THEM up, until the time when She who is to give birth has borne….). Take note of the sentence use by Micah 5:2, two (2) are presented as coming; God’s Wisdom and Word as human being, Mary and Jesus, respectively so that man would slowly understand God’s showing forth His Love and Mercy in the flesh. The mystery and wonder of the divine plan to the humanity! To undo the sinful act of Adam and Eve, this loving plan needed the holy life of Jesus and Mary, as Son and Mother that much in love to fulfill the will of the Father for all souls in the world called for salvation. In our Lord’s time, He was never understood because God the Son (God’s Word) showed Himself in the flesh. People cannot believe that He is the Son of God or God the Son. Their unbelief caused His death on the cross.

Christ died on the cross to redeem the humanity. The redemption won by Christ is unique and a redeeming sacrifice to reconcile all things, making peace by the blood of His cross, whether those on earth or those in heaven (Colossians 1:20). For since death came through a human being, the resurrection of the dead came also through a human being. For just as in Adam all die, so too in Christ shall all be brought to life, but each one in proper order: Christ the firstfruits; then, at His coming, those who belong to Christ; then comes the end, when He hands over the Kingdom to His God the Father… (1 Corinthians 15:20-24). The mystery of our faith, the principle of our hope and the greatest love of all. By embracing in His human heart the Father’s love for men, Jesus loved us to the end,” for “greater love has no man than this, that man lay down His life for His friends.” Christ’s whole life is an offering to the Father with His mighty works, wonders and signs that has written in Old Testament that He is the Promised Messiah and as New Testament witnessed by His Apostles and Disciples. Before His Passover, Jesus announced the sending of “another Paraclete” (Advocate), the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17). At work since creation, having previously “spoken through the prophets (The Divine Wisdom),” the Spirit will now be with and in the Disciples, to teach them and guide them “into all the truth.” The eternal origin of the Holy Spirit of Wisdom is revealed in mission in time. The sending of the person of the Spirit after Jesus’ glorification reveals in its fullness the mystery of the Holy Trinity.

The Trinity is a mystery of faith in the strict sense, one of the “mysteries that are hidden in God, which can never be known unless they are revealed by God (Catechism 237, partial). Only the Father God (The Almighty Creator) can reveal and inspires us to His Glory through His only-begotten Son (God’s Word the Redeemer) for greater manifestation of His mercy through the Holy Spirit (God’s Wisdom the Sanctifier), as the Third Person of the Most Holy Trinity. God’s Wisdom is mysterious, hidden which God predetermined before the ages for our glory (1 Corinthians 2:7). Genuine spiritual manifestations are usually not well known and when they do become known, it is not by the power of the mystic, but by the power of the Holy Spirit for the glory of God. If Jesus or His Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary wants the Catholic Church to know something, He or She will provide the means to ensure that the knowledge and understanding through faith will come to the attention of the Church. And the fruits of the Spirit of Christ will be there to support the validity of such spiritual manifestations.

The Virgin Mary’s role in the mystery of Christ and the Spirit has been revealed in Jesus Christ Himself because the fullness of God was pleased to dwell bodily in Him (Colossians 1:19), the Son of God made man was conceived by the Holy Spirit through His Mother’s Immaculate Womb, is the Father’s one, perfect and unsurpassable Word, thus the Holy Spirit is send as another divine person through Jesus from the Father. The divine persons are relative to one another because it does not divide the divine unity, the real distinction of the persons from one another resides solely in the relationships which relate them to one another: “In the relational names of the persons the Father is related to the Son, the Son to the Father, and the Holy Spirit to both, as to what personal relationship to the Father and Son? While they are called three persons in view of their relations, we believe in one nature or substance” (Catechism 255, partial), our everlasting Father is Holy Spirit, His Son is the Spirit of His Divine Word and the third Person is the Spirit of His Divine Wisdom, the Holy Spirit is one and the same God (Catechism 263, partial).” Because of that unity the Father is wholly in the Son and wholly in the Holy Spirit (The Third Person) but they are distinct from one another in their relations of origin: “It is the Father who generates, the Son who is begotten, and the third Person of one Holy Spirit who proceeds.” The divine unity is triune.

“By calling God “Father,” the language of faith indicates two main things: that God is the first origin of everything and transcendent authority; and that He is the same time goodness and loving care for all His children. God’s parental tenderness can also be expressed by the image of motherhood, which emphasizes God’s immanence, the intimacy between creator and creature. The language of faith thus draws on human experience of parents, who are in a way the first representatives of God for man. But this experience also tells us that human parents are fallible and can disfigure the face of fatherhood and motherhood. We ought therefore to recall that God transcends the human distinction between the sexes. He is neither man nor woman: God is Pure Spirit in which there is no place for the difference between the sexes but He also transcends human fatherhood and motherhood, although He is their origin and standard: no one is father as God is Father” (Catechism 239).

After Her Assumption to heaven and glorified by the Father through Her Son Jesus Ch
