The Light Over the Mountains

Updated on August 15, 2012

Take comfort in His loving arms

Source

He chases them away.

Every morning there are huge dark clouds outside my window. This morning I while reading Christian subscriptions like two thoughts a day, there was an urge to look out the window. There was the dark ominous clouds piled up one on top of the other. They looked like mountain ranges in the sky. Then the sun came slowly yet brightly inching over them. Soon all the clouds disappeared until tomorrow morning.

Isn’t that like God?

When the dark clouds of worry, sadness, anger or loneliness hang so darkly over our heads, let’s take a moment to think of all of Gods immeasurable love for us and the simple and great wondrous gifts He has so graciously blessed us with. Then thank Him for it and take comfort in knowing He is always there, He always cares.

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.
Psalm 5:3 New International Version

If you want God to listen to you, speak from the heart, not the mind Joseph- Anthony: Green

Man may dismiss compassion from his heart, but God never will.
William Cowper

Earth hath no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Thomas Moore

See if your heart is not filled with comforting peace.

Prayer: My beautiful Jehovah Shalom (God of peace) thank for the amazing peace and serenity there is in Your secure loving arms. I ask dear one that You bless _______ (fill in the name of someone who you know who is hurting or worried) with this marvelous shalom. I ask in the name of the prince of peace, Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
