The Philosophy Of Beliefs & Miracles

Updated on July 28, 2016

Miracles begin with belief. Belief is verified confidence and expectancy in the nature of a condition, situation or circumstance. For instance, if you receive a paycheck every Friday, you will expect to see that paycheck when the time comes to get paid again. Belief will allow you to write the rent check and put it in the mail a couple days before payday; you will make out a budget for food and clothing without any doubt. This is verified belief because you know it is a company policy that you get paid every week. You have experienced this numerous times. However, the gap between belief and miracles includes another factor: Faith. Beliefs creates faith and faith creates miracles and miracles express the glory of God on earth.

Belief is an invisible power that makes things happen in all disciplines of life and living. Without belief in ourselves to accomplish a vision or goal, we fail miserably. We can not succeed in college; we fail to land a decent job and we miss out on creating and supporting a potential family. Belief makes the world go round.

Do you believe in the Supernatural to transform your Life?

See results

The creation of all great inventions, including all past and present technologies in history, has occurred as a result of belief in possibilities and wonder. The Wright Brothers believed that man could fly and then it was manifested. Benjamin Franklin believed in electricity to produce light and then this also came to pass. So belief verges on the edge of faith. However, the firm conviction that all things are possible is the beginning of faith. This conviction refuses to doubt the finishing power of God despite the growing hopelessness and disparity of a situation or condition.

Faith brings forth the finished state of your desire or need into the visible world. The result is called a miracle. The healed hand, vanished diseases and the sudden disappearance of an irreversible threat is the supernatural operation and power of divine faith. However, faith must be accompanied by activity of asking, knocking and seeking. In other words, you must become a divine channel through which God can manifest his miracles. Asking is requesting God for help in fulfilling a particular need; knocking is working against the odds of doubt and unbelief. Seeking is the activity of pursuing a particular need until it is made manifest. Once faith is mastered, miracles can flow freely in the world.

Miracles display the glory of God on earth, impacting people, circumstances and conditions. The unexplained healing of illnesses and diseases, the sudden deliverance from dire circumstances, the divine transformation of entire communities, the immediate calming of storms, tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes in the open sight of man are the stuff of miracles. Biblical history substantiate the significance of miracles, including Moses in the dividing of the red sea, Daniel in escaping the mouth of the Lion and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in silencing the violence of fire. Without miracles who would know the extent of God's glory toward man. The great invisible power unseen by man and incomprehensible by reason must make His self known.

Capturing the Attention of Mankind

Miracles can be performed by all those who have sold their souls to God and have mastered his supernatural power within them. Since they are convinced that all things are possible in God, they can execute the flow of Miracles anywhere, including the home, the community and even in the workplace. Wherever miracles are performed, they capture the attention of mankind and makes them aware that existence goes beyond the knowledge of man.

The impact of miracles can alter the course of an entire neighborhood. Miracles are the hand of God operating through me and you. They strengthen our intimacy with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost who dwells within us. Nothing will ever be impossible to those of us who understands the nature and power of God upon all creation. But how can a believer operate in such power.

Small Miracles

Dedication to the Supernatural

Prayer, fasting and meditation transforms belief into supernatural faith. The more time we give to these three rituals the more empowered our faith becomes. We are ready to manifest the supernatural in all circles of life. And once miracles begin to flow, there is no stopping them. Things begin to transform on a massive scale, both spiritually, personally and professionally.

Vanishing Illusions

Spiritually our attitude toward circumstances change and our knowledge of God grows. We no longer see our circumstances as a hindering factors. Instead, they become illusions. As faith is empowered illusions vanish. It is if they are never their in the first place. The following story will illustrate this point. Once there was a man who had gotten an operation to remove one of his kidneys. Once the operation was completed the man prayed constantly for the health of his final kidney. However, he begin to feel pain in the area that his diseased kidney was removed. After a couple of months of trying to remedy the condition, he had no other answers. Therefore, he made an appointment and met with a doctor. After the ex ray results, the doctor returned astonished. He asked the man with the removed kidney whether or not the medical procedure occurred. The man answered yes and gave the doctor the date and time of the operation. What the doctor told the man was a testament of the miraculous power of God. The man's pain was due to the growth of a whole new kidney. This is the power of God: the power of the supernatural.

Divine Interactions

Personally our natural day to day living changes. Our interactions with people, places and things go smoothly. Doors of opportunity opens where they were once closed. For example, if you are unemployed you will find yourself faced with many job offers. If your relationships are strained by unforgiveness and conflict, multiple door will be opened for reconciliation, acceptance and love. Marriages, sister and brother strife, father and son conflict and mother and daughter relationship drama will resolve when believers dedicate themselves to the supernatural. The powers of darkness can not withstand the power of faith when executed with conviction. Miracles flow toward the person who understands this knowledge. They are blessed everywhere, including their homes, workplace and communities.

Unexpected Resources

Professionally, a believer who operates in the supernatural flow of miracles will dramatically influence her workplace. The greatest opportunity for a business to become prosperous is when a believer who walks in the flow of miracles is in charge. All challenges, lack of resources and funds will be overcome by the believer's faith in miracles. Money and resources will be miraculously supplied by the most unexpected sources. No one can anticipate the activation of these sources. Such divine activity is what makes the supernatural so exciting and yes: scary. The changes enacted by the supernatural are sudden, shattering all our worries and fears and establishing within us a sense of dominion.

The flow of miracles in our lives display the glory of God wherever we go. As a result, the knowledge of the kingdom of God is made known. Once people are aware of the knowledge of the kingdom by witnessing the flow of miracles in the lives of the saints, the world will be open to receive the glory of God.

" Wherever miracles are performed, they capture the attention of mankind and makes them aware that existence goes beyond the knowledge of man."

Quoting Bill Johnson, he says that miracles proof the will of God right here, right now! They force us to make a decision right away whether to serve God or not! Jesus and the apostles seldom preached without a demonstration of power (miracles) to confirm their message. On the mission field in third world countries 80% of new converts says they came to Christ because of the miraculous IE... healings, signs and wonders.

Very interesting thoughts. I enjoyed reading it. I know God has worked miracles in my life, in my marriage, in our finances. He is truly amazing if you just let Him in and let Him take over.

A well-written and well-researched hub that includes some interesting illustrations. With miracles of healing I think that trust has a lot to do with it, too. If we don't trust that it will happen then it probably wont.
