The “Miracle Movie” everyone should see

Updated on April 14, 2015

The Passions' Miracles

“The Passion of the Christ” is the film so many people have reported has had a dramatic impact in their lives. But what about the amazing phenomenon involved in both the creation of the film, too?

What characters were struck by lightning in the film? It was the man playing Jesus Christ, Mr. Jim Caviezel, news reports have revealed. Mr. Caviezel was struck by lightning, while actually on the cross and suffers no injuries, the reports also bring to light. During a scene where Mr. Caviezel was being brutally beaten, he said he saw God, one report quotes him saying. Mr. Caviezel’s testimony in the same report reveals that he has been changed as a result of playing Jesus in the film and that people should put their faith in Christ every day, pray and fast. He encourages people to “go public” with their faith.

In one interview report on the 700 Club website, Mr. Caviezel talks about how the physical demands and physical pain of playing the role of Jesus actually forced him to have to pray to carry out the roles of the character in the film.

Also, assistant director Jan Michelini was the film’s other crew member who was struck by lightning twice, earning the nickname in the media as “Lightning Boy,” suffering only light finger burns as a result, according to reports.

Little did the world know what the film’s eventual impact would have on so many other lives around the world. In the film production “Changed Lives Miracles of the Passion,” those interviewed reveal the live-changing events that happened in their lives after they saw the movie. "The Passion of the Christ" is the movie that many recommend seeing.
