What is lacking In the Trucking Industry As Compared To The Church

Updated on October 24, 2013
Over six million in our industry and we have no rights?
Over six million in our industry and we have no rights?

The end to freedom as we know it here in America both in our industry and the church is coming to a climax and our heritage is slowly fading.

This hub is an attempt to open our eyes and focus our thoughts combined with our prayers concerning the need for unity among the professional drivers as compared to what has happened that caused a lack of love and unity in some of our churches.

You heard the old saying that united we stand and divided we fall?

Those in places of authority that love recognition and power tend to leverage control over their subjects by causing division because they know it works and that is why they pressed hard against the unions.

You might say how can we fix this and get people to see the light of what is really at stake and to answer that question we need to look at all the imposed rules that have been passed against our industry such as high fines for use of a hand held cell phone but by argument is that if they are so much a hazard to safety then why are many of the police still using them?

I am a minister of a ministry and drive a truck for a living.

The ministers at our ministry have a sincere desire and vision to appoint representatives in every city that would be willing to devote some time to administer to the needs (spiritually) and (physically) of people that have been evolved in accidents or that have been confined to hospitals and are away from home.

We would like to develop some sort of plan for drivers who are thrown out of their trucks at a truck stop for whatever reason that caused them to become stranded miles away from home with no means to sustain their needs. (This does happen).

I believe this plan would be a valuable asset to the people employed in the transportation industry especially those that spend long hours away from home.

Please pray for this ministry as we attempt by the Living God to bring meaning, hope, and purpose to a lost and hurting world.

In order to have a firm base and foundation for our Industry, we must have unity and love.

What happened to our image as being the knights of the road willing to lend a helping hand to a stranded motorist on the freeway?

The answer to this question can be found in what appears to be lacking not only in our industry but also in most of our churches and that is Love and Unity.

For us to get back on the right path, there are two foundational stones that must be in place and these are Love and Unity.

These stones must also be in place for the gifts of the Spirit to operate in the church.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit will not function without unity and love in the body of Christ and they will not be present when we maintain our selfish attitudes.

Let's take a look at today's church as it is portrayed to a lost and hurting world and we might discover what is lacking in our industry.

First we need to ask the question why am I here in the cab of this truck?

We can ask the same question about the church?

There are times when the church forgets why it exists.

Even Christians seem to forget what Jesus saved them for.

They tend to think that church is all about them.

They think that their relationship with Jesus is totally focused on their agenda and needs.

I want to re-emphasize that it is not about us but about Him.

The church was borne in power and in unity.

We each are chosen to fill the right place in the body.

God wants us to flow in the body and fulfill his call upon our life.

The problem is that some have developed pride and thought they could isolate themselves from the body and build their own kingdom.

They call themselves “God’s man for the hour.

This mindset causes them to be isolated from their covering and leads people to associate their gifts to the person and not the body.

God sees all of us as one body; the body of Christ.

My Conclusion

We are now entering a time of spiritual cleansing and we are all becoming the same size.

There are no big I’s and no little U’s in the Kingdom of God.

We are being conditioned now by the Holy Spirit where everyone is flowing together in the gifts.

We are entering a time of unity in the body of Christ.

We are no accident and we did not come from a tree or crawl out of the ocean. Nobody has our DNA or our finger prints.

We each have a lot to fill in God’s eternal plan and purpose.

Nobody else can do what we were chosen to do so there is no place for jealousy to be in our ranks.

God needs all kinds of people to reach all the different cultures and ethnic groups in our world.

We need to start caring for one another and quit being selfish and isolated.

We must have the right attitude toward God and our fellow men.

We the body of Christ are bound by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and not doctrines or denominations.

We are blood brothers and sisters in Christ.

We need to realize that we are in a fight.

Did you here that Truckers?

The enemy loves for us to fight among our selves.

If we are in a fight, and we are not fighting each other then we must realize that we need to fight together as one colossal body.

When we align our-self to fight together, we will experience a spiritual strength and become a powerful force to be reckoned with as we flow together in unity.

There is a powerful strength and force in unity. As we flow together in unity, we will see the power and love of God begin to spread all around us.

The enemy knows this and that is why he tries to bring division.

I have always said that if a brother or sister draws a circle and leaves you out, swallow your pride and draw a bigger circle bringing them in.

God wants us to prosper and flow in the body as children of faith and power.

He wants us to live circumspectly in this cruel world making the most out of every opportunity.

When we miss an opportunity, it cannot be reclaimed.

Every moment is a precious gift from God. God wants us to manage our time and invest it in something worth while.

Fellow Truckers, did you know that there is strength in working together?

In Ephesians 5th chapter, Paul speaks of redeeming our time and managing it and our self wisely.

Too many have the mistaken idea that the building is the church.

God’s son Jesus is not coming back for buildings but a bride that hath made herself ready.

We are not here to fill up space, nor are we here to build our own kingdom.

We are here to be a light to bring hope, meaning and purpose in a life that is searching for the truth and be released from the enemies hold on their life.

Let us labor together for the common cause and Let it be the real thing.

More people have been brought into the church by the kindness of real Christian love than by all the theological arguments in the world, and more people have been driven from the church by the hardness and ugliness of so-called Christianity than by all the doubts in the world.

John 13:35 "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

Love - The visitors in church may not be able to explain it or define it, but they know when it is there and when it is not and it would not hurt us one bit to back off the hammer and let another driver enter from an exit ramp for what are we to gain by placing him and others in harms way?

God help us to work together and bring love and unity back into this great industry and especially the church!

Let's quit fighting one another and unite to fight the real enemy that is bringing havoc on our culture and way of life.
