The Godly Will Be Silenced, the Mantra of the Age
A Brain Fit for God's Cleansing of the Church.
Assyria Was Terror Personified.
The Wicked - A Rod in God's Hands.
Isaiah 10:5-6a "O Assyrian, the "rod (whipping stick) of Mine anger, and the staff in their hand is Mine indignation. I will send him against a hypocritical nation...)"
Of course, this is God dealing with the idolatrous northern tribes of Israel; but could this be the fate of the church here in America? Ask yourself - How is our worship of money, peace and prosperity or of the men who shovel these doctrines down the throats of those who eagerly desire the benefits of religion across this great nation of ours? We are instructed to "...come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord ..." and yet the masses of true believers in America are solidly ensconced within denominations and assemblies having grown dull of hearing and too comfortable with the status quo. A perfect storm is brewing and the majority are blind, deaf and dumb; surely to taken by complete surprise.
A little history about the ancient Assyrians. They were the "inventors" of crucifixion as a method of torturous execution, only later to be perfected by the Romans on a much larger scale. When transporting captives on foot, they not only tied them together but put a large meat hook in the mouth, under the tongue and out the lower jaw; then tied the hook to the neck of the person in front of them, ensuring no one would try to run away or have a tendency to drag their feet. For the uncooperative, the weak or sickly, they would lay them on the ground and pull a threshing sledge over them turning them into human fertilizer. You may ask, why did I bring up such gruesome details. Simple: we are a stiff-necked people and when God separates the wheat (true Christians) from the chaff, too many will attempt to tarry and succumb as Lot's wife, remembering the good old days of easy believism. The return of our Lord is at hand and He shall have a purified Church whether we like it or not.
A Man of God's Choosing?
Pandora's Box - The Enemy of the Church Unleashed.
The American "Church" - Fuel for The Hatred of God.
Quotes from so-called Christian leaders concerning the recent presidential election stating that God or that the church miraculously showed up as the reason for Trump's resounding victory, truly bypasses the sovereignty of God in the affairs of man. Romans 13:1 "...For there is NO power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." ALL previous administrations were ordained by God according to His perfect will and His design for the consummation of history - the END draws near. It may be true that more church going people were compelled to vote in this election but it took years of un-American political and social behavior to bring them out of their selfish comfort zones. The wicked were becoming more wicked and the people needed a champion to stem the tide … voila … out of nowhere steamrolls Donald Trump into the fray. Now fairy-tale like, the wrongs will be righted, order and safety restored and Happy-Valley will once again be happy. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Hatred for Christians in this country has always existed and has been openly growing more and more public for the last few decades. This election, opened Pandora's Box.
As I have written before concerning this election, the true Christian is to pray for leaders that will allows US to live "...a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." God took a slumbering Bride, roused her from her comfortable bed to exercise a God given right within our nation to place His man of the hour into power. Unbeknownst to the Bride, the beginning of the cleansing of God's own is about to begin. I believe there will be a time to rejoice and revel in the positive of the nation's new found direction and its leadership, but it will short-lived.
A Gentle and Meek Jesus!
Why Does The Church Need A Cleansing?
First things first: the American church has been an accepted, admired, trusted and productive member of society for many years, an institution that the majority of the citizenry looked up to: much to our eternal shame. "And ye shall be hated of ALL men for My name's sake:.." Matthew 10:22 The Gospel was never to be popular, it was to be the Truth: the few would receive gladly but the many would reject. To the American church's disgrace, we have favored being acceptable to the masses and have strayed from the great Commission abandoning the living Gospel and its power to save. Secondly, we have left the sheep of His pasture in the wake of spiritual ignorance as the power of the Word to transform has been watered down to make it more palatable for the unsaved and uncalled among us.
My axiom: If it attracts the world - it is the ungodly cloaked in the guise of religion.
- The church has abandoned the meat of God's Word and have left the sheep starving for the Truth. Just keep the milk flowing and the sheep will grow accustomed to their diet but rest assured, the Lord will never let them be fully satisfied. For once they taste meat, a whole new world will open up and the questions will flow from them, needing answers. This I have seen personally and the sheep will seek pastures in which to be fed. Sadly many will have to turn to radio, TV and heaven help us - the internet.
- I recently saw an article on how Christian hip-hop can make your church service more relevant to today's crowds. In other words, how can we draw more of the ungodly into our midst and further degrade our supposed worship? I chose not to read the article for obvious reasons to me, but I can imagine that there are people that will buy that satanic dribble, hook, line and sinker. The youth movement in the late 60's into the 70's destroyed much of what the true Church once showed forth. Music and dress became self-centered, immodesty has become common place and a time of worship had been replaced by a form of entertainment.
- Money, follow the money. "...hath not God chosen the POOR of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of Kingdom...?" James 2:5 Once upon a time within this country, instead of food stamps and assistance from the government, the people depended upon faith based institutions to provide in the time of need. Today the wealth of the American church in land and in personal holdings is staggering, yet we have among our own assemblies many in dire need but the church's resources are not readily available. We have become fat, lazy and nearly dead to the true Gospel. Something drastic needs to happen.
