Abraham : Old Testament- Holy Bible

Abraham is featured in the Old Testament in the book of Genesis. He is the Israelite's founding father who made a Covenant with God. Abraham is well known for offering his son as a sacrifice to God, as he was instructed to do. He took his son to the top of the mountain. The Bible says, that Abraham did not want to kill his son but, was so obedient to God, that God let him get as far as he was about to kill his son, he raised the knife to kill his son, an Angel of God stopped him. He most definitely proved he was a follower of The Lord. He proved his love for God in the ultimate way and many people could not have done it.

He plays a prominent role in Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Reading about him in the Old Testament is an important and interesting part of the Holy Bible.

Ezekiel: Old Testament-Holy Bible

Ezekiel is a Hebrew Prophet who is the author of The Book of Ezekiel is the Holy Bible. Ezekiel is famous for revealing prophecies based on his visions that foretold the destruction of Jerusalem and many other prophecies as well. He told of his visit by God, who he said rode on a four wheeled Chariot which was guided by Cherub Angels. There are many paintings, and drawings about Ezekiel and the Holy Bible as well. Some of this book of the Holy Bible is very mysterious and harder to fully comprehend than some books. It has many visuals that remind me of Revelations in that form.

Ezekiel is used of God to translate a part of The Holy Bible.

Isaiah: Old Testament-Holy Bible

Isaiah was a Prophet and lived in the Kingdom of Judah in Jerusalem. He was a true teacher of religion who had a deep knowledge of the subject and his beliefs were strong and pure. Many of his prophecies concerning the coming of Jesus came to fulfillment. The constant persecution of Jews to this day, was foretold. Along with the other prophets of the Bible, Isaiah has had many books and other literature written about him. He has been studied for centuries and he is a major part of the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. God used Isaiah in many situations to preach the word. Isaiah was used by God to restore the nation of Israel from exile in Babylon.

Noah: Old Testament-Holy Bible

Noah is in the Holy Bible in the Book of Genesis. Noah was kind of the laughing stock, if you will, of his day and time. He is known for building an Ark and gathering two of each animal onto the Ark to survive a disastrous flood. Noah's friends that once made fun of him, now, no longer make fun of him and decide that he is the smart one, once the rains start falling.

Other than his accounts in the Old Testament, he is also mentioned in the New Testament in Mathew, Luke, I Peter and II Peter , and Hebrews. Noah has had films, cartoons and other works produced that portray his life. Noah was always one of the first Bible characters to be taught in Bible school.

Much has been written about Noah and television and film have had films and documentaries about Noah lots of times over the decades.

Malachi: Old Testament- Holy Bible

The Book of Malachi is the last book of the Old Testament in the Holy Bible. This is one of the shortest books of The Bible but, God felt it's message to be important enough to be included. The book promises that Elijah will return before the Day of The Lord. Also, this Book of The Bible urges us to call upon the teachings of the Prophet Moses. This Bible Book has many teachings and future predictions concerning the Lord. Everything in the Bible can have inspiration to it even in a time of despair. The poems are beautiful and the psalms can truly be an inspiration and of course the Gospels in the New Testament.
