Updated on June 5, 2016

How to Use this Information

So, you are considering the possibilities? What would it be like if you had a relationship with that special someone you have been eyeing from across the way or even with someone you just recently begun dating? Use this guide to help you discover the possibilities. This book allows you to ask specific questions regarding love and romance, teaches you how to phrase questions, provide sample questions, as well as provide meaning for each tarot card in the deck and allows you to place a percentage on your compatibility such as 10%, 20%, 30%, 80% etc. There will be a focus on sexual compatibility. You will use tarot and you intuition to get the answer.

How Does Tarot Work?

One question that most people have when they use tarot or get a reading is, how does tarot work? Tarot isn’t evil. It isn’t cursed. It isn’t a hoax, scam or any form of hoodoo. No one really knows how tarot works, but it has worked for me. In my opinion, tarot works with your subconscious mind to bring to our conscious mind the hidden images understood and deciphered by the subconscious-the images present in our dreams, the ones we neglect in our conscious state. This subconscious mind may also be known as the higher self

A Standard Tarot Deck

A standard full tarot deck has 78 cards. 22 Major Arcana or Trump cards and 56 Minor Arcana cards divided into four suits as follows: Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. This hub uses the most popular Rider Waite deck for all examples. The Major Arcana cards suggest things of major importance, events that are significant. The Minor Arcana cards suggest everyday events, sometimes fleeting and trivial things that pass away. The best way to read tarot is by going with what comes to your mind when you view the imagery, although there are general meanings for each card. In the next section, you will find general meanings for tarot’s symbology as it relates to romance and personal relationships. This will help you do your own compatibility readings or readings for others. Though professional readers agree and say, it is best not to read your own cards because your own desires and bias may come into play.
