Terry is a Christian and was raised a devout Catholic! He loves the Christianity & how it brings people around the World together!

The Rosary In Prayer!

"The Holy Rosary (/ˈroʊzəri/; Latin: rosarium, in the sense of "crown of roses" or "garland of roses"),[1] also known as the Dominican Rosary,[2][3] refers to a form of prayer used in the Catholic Church and to the string of knots or beads used to count the component prayers. When used for the prayer, the word is usually capitalized ("the Rosary"), as is customary for other names of prayers, such as "the Lord's Prayer", and "the Hail Mary"; when referring to the beads, it is written with a lower-case initial letter ("a rosary").

The prayers that comprise the Rosary are arranged in sets of ten Hail Marys, called decades. Each decade is preceded by one Lord's Prayer and followed by one Glory Be. During recitation of each set, thought is given to one of the Mysteries of the Rosary, which recall events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. Five decades are recited per rosary. Other prayers are sometimes added before or after each decade. Rosary beads are an aid towards saying these prayers in the proper sequence."~Wikipedia

Rosaries are commonly used in prayers to Almighty God! Priests assign prayers to parishioners usually following confessions using the rosary as a guide to how many prayers to say to atone to sins committed. But the rosary is not just a prayer tally device! Many devout Catholics will engage in reciting a whole rosary while in Church not only to honor Jesus & the Virgin Mary, but also to discipline their minds in the most firm belief of their faith!

I still use the rosary at times as it makes me feel more connected to the Lord through prayer! Praying the rosary prepares your mind so you commit yourself to deeper prayers in which you tell the Lord what deeply concerns you & also to ask for guidance in your life from the Ever Living Christ!

Rosaries Are Displayed As Apparel!

Rosaries differ in their design & workmanship! They also have added decades of 10 beads making them longer. Franciscan Monks wear 7 Decade Franciscan Crown Rosaries on their habit made of beautiful wood with silver chains! The Dominican 15 Decade Rosary that I found, is bound with a white cord ending in a very ornate Crucifix!

Rosaries are also used as beautiful jewelry! The Sweet Kissing Cross shown has opalescent beads with extraordinarily ornate silver adornments! The Contemporary Rosary is jeweled with unique stones with a brightly jeweled Cross!

Rosaries have also been worn as attractive ornaments that catch one's eye quickly! These necklaces are works of Art!

Rosaries Are Special To Their Owners!

Rosaries mean quite a lot for their owners whether they secure them from the Church or have them bought as presents in Faith! They can be of average cost to very expensive depending on what they are made of & how they were put together! Many have Rosaries as remembrance of the Loved Ones who bought them as gifts! The Rosary will go down in time as a special instrument of Prayer & some of the best jewelry items that Catholics can own! Many Non-Catholics also love to purchase Rosaries as a symbol of Christian Faith! Rosaries represent Jesus & The Virgin Mary! So maybe you have or want one for yourself! May the Lord Bless your endeavors!
