The Spiritual House of the Ancient Father - Part 2

God the Father will not empower two seasons simultaneously, He is not schizophrenic. When the new comes the old is fading away in time but in the eternal it’s obsolete. We are spiritual beings and should always navigate our timely earthly life by the changes that are effected in the eternal. To live another second in the old season in the natural would mean that you would have to maintain the fading season by the sweat of your brow and the toil of your own hands which equates to the self righteousness of Cain’s sacrifice, which is one of the primary characteristic of an orphan. Hebrews 7:13, When He said a new covenant, He has made the first obsolete. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old, is ready to disappear. Hebrews 9:8, the Holy Spirit is signifying this, that the way into the Most Holy Place (Naos-spirit), has not been disclosed, while the outer tabernacle (Psueche – soul) is still standing. This scripture tells us that in time while you are still participating in the old and have doubts about the new, the Holy Spirit will not permit you access into the new anyway. This is why the Lord God put a Cherub with a flaming sword to guard the entrance to the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden which represented Life in the Spirit, man had fallen into an alternate reality, his soulish, orphan culture, and he was not permitted to come near the Tree of Life, lest he take and eat of it and forfeit the chance of redemption into the Spirit.

The people of God need to become the Family of God their Father. Truth is progressive and the revelation of this truth is dependent on the humility of an individual. Religious Christian Institutional culture is still very evident in the Apostolic Reformation and is the primary culture that neuters spiritual revelation to those who are under its sway. The God of that system, Satan, has placed a death shroud or a veil over their understanding and their consciences are seared. They are more than happy to continue in dead religion, they love it, because their deeds are evil and evil men hate the light and will resist all good and perfect things that come down from the Father of Lights in whom there is no shadow of turning in Him. He is the real, He is Spirit, shadows and types are for those who refuse to walk as sons of God.

I have dealt with the veil of the soul (read the two part article of Piecing beyond the veil of the soul) in the hearts of Christian religious men and I will repeat what my deduction from those articles revealed. THE VEIL IS THE SOUL. When we are saved and receive our born again experience, we appropriate the death of Jesus Christ as the sufficient ransom or sacrifice to remove us from under the curse of sin, for the wages of sin is death. This means that we have the ability now to escape death and gain “Zoe” life. But we still however need to renew our minds, which mean that we have to stop living by our souls and begin living by the Spirit. How do we do that? The soul’s primary pre-occupation is with self provision and self protection and it requires the Baptism of Fire to purge you and allow you to clearly separate the soul and the spirit, (read my article on the Baptism of Fire). Unfortunately most who do face this testing, have no context as to why this is happening because they do not have a mature spiritual father to walk with them through this vital spiritual stage of sonship in their lives and abandon the process midway and return to their former life, never attaining spiritual maturity as a son (Huios) in their Fathers House. They fail the “Test of Time”.

Besides, Church culture will have you believe that you have left a doorway open for the attack of the enemy and they will ask you to repent, tithe your way out of your financial troubles, and when you cannot make the tithe cheque anymore because you have to put food on the table and keep the creditors at bay, you will then be visited by the senior elder or cell group leader, who will tell you that the reason why you are in this jam anyway is because you have stopped tithing. They have no perspective on spiritual things and see all things one dimensionally through the eyes of religion. I have personally seen this played out over and over again in the lives of precious saints. They do not have the faith of endurance because they do have a context for suffering, so they abort the process and waste precious years of their lives. When you meet years later they have not changed one iota. They may have more money now, the kids are in good schools, they live in good homes and drive a good car, but they have no LIFE. They are hollowed out, fearful, extremely cautious and have a perspective that is worldly governed by their wallets, and global economies and do not trust God for anything. They are human, mere soulish men again.

All of the Baptisms (Hebrews 6) are necessary for the removal of the outer casing, the destruction of this tent our soul and flesh heart (2 Corinthians 5:1-8). Water baptism, baptism by the spirit, baptism of the spirit and fire baptism or baptism of suffering. You will notice that all the natural elements are required to destroy the outer casing of a natural seed. It needs the agent of wind, earth, water, fire (suffering or pressure). The wind carries the seed to the ground, the earth provides a dark place for death and decay to occur, water softens the seed casing and pressure under the earth ruptures the outer casing. When the seed is fully dead, the “Principal of the Resurrection” is activated. Jesus Christ said, “Unless a seed falls to the ground and dies it remains alone”. It’s a dual process of falling and dying, many people fall but very few actually die to the world and the soul. Jesus promised that He would not leave us alone as orphans but that he would send us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirits life is infused into the seed at the crescendo of death and the seed starts to germinate up from under the ground and represents a far greater value now than when it first was just a seed. It now represents the potential of a forest or an orchard. Similarly your new life has been transformed from the soul to the spirit, you existence represents an exponential great value now than before. It is this life that can only be used by the Father because it is this life that only wants to do the will of the Father. Do you not know that your spirit is the seed of God the Father?

1 Peter 1:23, for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is through the living and abiding word of God.

You see in the beginning of creation, the main contractor for creation was the Holy Spirit; He was hovering on the face of the deep, infusing the Spirit of Life into the earth so when the Father said, “Let there be”, it was created. Adam was a life giving soul, but Christ a life giving Spirit. The Spirit of Christ is the evidence of the resurrection and immortality. When Jesus identified Himself to Mary, Lazarus’s sister, as “I am the resurrection and the life” he was asking her if she believed that to be true of Him. When we have this in our understanding then immortality is ours for the taking. Death works for us and in us to produce a greater weight of glory. Life in the Spirit, for those who are led by the Spirit these are sons of God. I love watching movies and I really enjoyed The X-Men Origins – Wolverine. There is a part in the movie where Wolverines brother Victor who is also immortal has been given the task of assassinating all other X-men that was part of this special task force. He comes to this one character that has the ability to control electrical current who now works in the Circus. Victor sees his target and proceeds to engage him in his trailer after everyone is gone home. This guy knows that Victor is there to take his life and tells him that He is not afraid of death, to which Victor replies, “How do you know that, you have never died before”. The only way to overcome fear and death the last enemy is to die now to the world and your soul, then you will fully comprehend that death has no sting. 2 Corinthians 3: 12 – 18, Having therefore such a hope we use great boldness in our speech and are not as Moses, who used a veil over his face so that the sons of Israel may not look intently at the end of what was fading away. But their minds were hardened (soul) for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. But to this day whenever Moses is read a veil remains over their heart, but whenever a man turns to the Lord the veil (soul) is taken away. Now the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. But we all with unveiled faces (spiritual beings) behold as in the mirror the glory, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Moses Law code or any religious law for that matter can only be interpreted by the soul, because it is designed for the soul. In that condition you cannot be the sons of God because you are led by the lusts of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and boastful pride of life, which is the world. Your information source is earthly, sensual and devilish (James 3:15). The soul will always ask the question, what do I need to do for God? And the present Church culture has in place many programmes like feeding schemes, Bible study programmes, Care for the Aged, Orphanage visits, social development programmes, souls outreach, and all night prayer meetings to feed that driving lust. Those are good but very evil because it has its roots in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We are never meant to serve humanity in this condition because we are no better than they are. Revelation 11:1-2 There was given me a measuring rod (or a plum-line) like a staff and someone said, Rise and measure the Temple of God(Naos- spirit) and the alter and those who worship in it. And leave out the outer court (soul) of the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations.

So what happens when we decide to rid ourselves of soul life and journey beyond the veil into the Spirit? This is a sonship position, so let’s take our lead from the Son, Christ Jesus. Hebrews 6:19-20, This hope we have as an anchor of the soul (not blown about by every wind of doctrine), a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil, where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchisedek. The hope referenced in this text has got to do with the Eternal Covenant of Sonship that God the Father made with Himself. Hebrew (6:13-19) When we follow the pattern of our brother Jesus Christ we become high priests after the order of Melchisedek. This is where we are to operate our Priestly Order from. It is at this juncture that we have become a Royal Priesthood and a Holy Nation. This is part of the Estate of our Lord Jesus Christ of whom we are heirs. To function as a priest in this is to administrate the Covenant of Sonship and become Ministers of Reconciliation, sent as Ambassadors of the Kingdom. We have the Father living in us who is reconciling man to Himself not counting men’s sins against him. So we are free to say, “Your sins are forgiven or your sins are not forgiven”. John 20:21-23. Now the sprinkled blood of our great high priest has been applied to the Holies of Holies, the one not made with human hands once and for all, the Spirit. The blood that is sprinkled is of Jesus Christ, so the Great High Priest and the sacrifice are one and the same. More accurately the Priest is the sacrifice. (Hebrews 9:13-15)When you appropriate the blood in this context and in this dimension of life, it cleanses your conscience from dead works and religion to serve the living God as Sons who have a delegated grant of authority and power. This is our rite of passage as heirs of this Kingly Estate. In serving mankind with this meek, peaceable and humble attitude we are truly the sons of God, we are those who spend every waking minute of the day wanting to do the will of our Father in heaven.

Psalm 2:6 But as for Me (God the FATHER), I have installed My King (Jesus Christ), Upon Zion, My holy mountain. “I will surely tell of the decrees of the Lord” or (“Your will O God will I only do”, says Jesus Christ) He (Father God) said to Me (Jesus Christ) Thou art My Son, today I have begotten Thee, now ask of me and I will surely give the nations as an inheritance for thee and the very ends of the earth as Thy possessions.

Please note the sequence of the events that is written in the scripture. A Son of God is begotten only when the Sons primary objective and purpose in living is to do the will of his Father. That is when he has surrendered his pursuit for provision and protection by his own hands but freely and willingly denied himself and laid down his life, so that he can provide a physical body in time for the full occupation of the Father in him. When doing the will of the Father is the food of the Son, then the Father offers the nations as an inheritance and the ends of the earth as his possession, all the Son has to do is ask.

Why was God creating sons? Well that’s what you do when you want to extend the sphere of your Kingdom and rule as a King into new territories. When God put His first son on the earth and gave him dominion to rule over everything, and to tend the Garden, he was not instructing Adam to be the Chief Royal Gardener of Eden. I always thought that is what he was supposed to do, dig around the beds, rack up the leaves, discard the fallen rotting fruit, cut the grass and the overhanging trees, because if he did not do that, the Garden would grow wild and out of control. I thought of it in terms of work and labour because he needed to earn his keep so to speak, you see that is how the orphan thinks. But this is far from the truth for the purpose of a Kings son.

This begs the question, how does a spirit being work in a human body? Well one thing for sure, it does not involve physical toil and sweat because these where the results of the fall and an obvious result of soulish life. By the way we are not under the curse of the earth because the curse was removed after Noah and the flood. God washed the earth clean again. Firstly pre-fall Adam was taught by his Father how to do work in that identity, it is called discipleship, when they met every morning in the cool of the day. This is true fellowship with the Father, who is Spirit, and gives instruction to the Son who is also Spirit. In this context there is intimacy and communion. This is not a relationship, this is fellowship, and this is “Koinonia” (Strong’s ref: NT 2842). 1 John 1: 2, what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ. The Father would instruct the son and it would go something like this, “Hear O son the instruction of a father and give attention that you may gain understanding, for I give you sound teaching, do not abandon my instruction”. Proverbs 4:1-2. Wisdom can only be transferred between a Father and his son in fellowship, not a Pastor and congregation member in relationship. Adam was instructed by his heavenly Father “whatever it is that you want to be done in this environment, all you have to do is speak to it because everything is under your dominion and rulership, all natural things are given to you to facilitate my will in the earth. So if the fig tree is not producing figs when you need to have a snack, curse it at its roots and it will die and the natural process of death will return it to the soil. If the seas are raging and you are in a ship that is transporting you to do my will, step out on the deck and ask it to be peaceful and to calm down. If the Kingdoms of this world require you to pay its taxes, instruct creation, maybe a fish to provide for you. When those that is in your company need faith to trust in me, command the fish to come into their nets, so that they will see your good works and glorify me. Speak my son, speak to it. Whenever there is a short supply of resources to complete my will ask of me and I will provide. I will deploy you into the ends of the earth and you will stand before the Kings of this world, you are never to be concerned about your provision and protection because I your Father will go before and prepare the way for you. You have the Royal Guard, the Angelic Hosts at your disposal to execute war against our enemy, this is not your battle, the battle is mine, you give the command to Michael the Archangel and having done all you can, to stand, just stand. “ Jesus said, “My Father is always working and I work the works of my Father who sent me, the reason why you do not believe in Me is because you do not know my Father, I tell you the truth the son can do nothing of himself. I only do what I see my Father doing and I only say what I hear my Father saying. If you see me, you have seen the Father, I and the Father are one. If you do not believe in Me then at least believe in the works that I do.”

Now let’s recap what we have received by virtue of seeing by the Spirit as Sons of God. The fall of Adam forced him to engage an alternate reality of soul life of an orphan which is intoxicated by fear for self-provision and self-protection; these are spawned by the soul which has its origin in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Please take note that the offspring the Tree of Knowledge, are two sons, namely Good and Evil. Now Adam the orphan soul produces two sons, Cain and Abel. The word Cain comes from the Hebrew word, “qayin” (H7012) which means, “a striking fast lance or a spear” and Abel comes from the Hebrew word “habel” (H1893) which means, “altogether vain and vanity”. As a one to one correlation, Evil Cain will always strike with a spear any attempt of the soul to offer a sacrifice to God, the altogether vain attempts of Good Abel. Cain will always triumph because the root of this tree is soulish, they are produced out of the same womb therefore it cannot produce life but only death. The Law is the good and evil type and shadow.

Let me explain this transaction in behavioural terms of the soul in an immature son. The un-renewed soul wants provision and protection by way of a better job, a salary increase or a business deal opportunity, so he makes a prayer request to God for this and tells God what this new income will do for God by way of him being able to give to the Building Fund, tithe more and be a blessing to more people and how this will help the spread of the Gospel to this dying unsaved world. He first sows a seed offering to the Church so that he can reap a harvest of his request because his Pastor tells him every week that if you give to God then God will rebuke the Devourer and will guarantee a return based on the size of your seed offering but you must give cheerfully. But in order to show his commitment to the request and seal the deal, he must offer a religious offering to God, so he commits to the seven day of fasting and the all night prayer meeting on the seventh night, during this time he will quote scripture that promises this outcome and puts it before the face of God. He now has a mutual exchange which is, if I give this sacrifice to you God then you are obligated to grant me my request, because I have laboured for this outcome. This request has good intentions of Abel but is altogether vain and is rooted in an evil heart of an orphan. God the Father will view this request in the state of the spiritual development of the individual and sometimes grant the request, because God is gracious, abounding in mercy and full of love. However this is not lasting, the orphans soul has just devised a pattern for manipulating the hand of God. When you are a spiritual child, the Father has no problem with giving into your repetitious drawn out, loud screaming prayer tantrums, known by most as intercession. He is long suffering and will allow you time to grow up in the Spirit by sending to you His servants to help you grow up but if your spiritual diet does not change then you are doomed to the life of an infant drinking milk. When by the time you ought to be teachers of the word but still require the milk of the word, God the Father then stops dancing to your tune and removes his hand from you. After all to continue in this fashion will be to your detriment and destruction.

You see in our culture today, you can get anybody to say they believe in Jesus and they are saved, we call it a salvation message but it has nothing to do with salvation. Here is the truth, when you are saved God gives you His Holy Spirit, that’s how you are confirmed as saved. His Holy Spirit is meant to work in you so consistently that over time He will conform you to the likeness of His Son. Now on the off chance you show a remarkable ability to resist the spirit of grace, consistently over time then He reserves the final phase of discipline for the Millennium and there those unfortunate, who did not see the need to submit to His discipline now and conform to sonship now will be dealt with a rod of iron. That means He is inflexible.

This is a day of grace through faith but that will be a day of strict obedience for wicked servants. I understand from scripture that this will be the minority not the majority. That’s how the matter is sewed up. I have laboured over these issues for this very reason by saying, “Today if hear His voice, harden not your hearts”.
