The Stages Of ME
Hey There Welcome to my Hub
The Stages Of ME
Why did I start a Hub? Well, it’s a wonderful polishing center for a writing ministry with awesome people that teach encourage and share life with you.
My parents would say, “to know and see the world, go to the library open a book and it will take you anywhere you want to go teaching you wisdom beyond what you could imagine!” In this generation, this could become a faded beauty. Places such as Hub keeps the seeking of adventure, travel, and wisdom in the written word alive.
The stages of me are part of my writing ministry. Back a few years ago writing was a new venture for me. I prayed long and hard about my original work wanting the focus on my faith journey although the title may seem misleading. The goal was to share a message of hope and life experiences focusing on my faith in God my Director!
I have heard when you write, you should write what you know. Using life experiences, I jotted down my faith journey. My writing ministry began with a published work by the same title, from it I enjoyed connections. I love learning and sharing stories along the way and wanted to continue to grow as a person, a writer remaining open to new viewpoints. This connection with fellow Hub writers affords a great venue to continue that process providing encouragement and constructive criticism while meeting some amazing people.
Before, I published my book I struggled with the idea, was I doing it for the right, reasons? Would it be self-serving? If it was I wanted nothing to do with it and considered letting it go into the abyss. Was I following the plan of God or was this distraction from my personal faith journey becoming confused until some dear friends directed me to these Bible verses, 2 Corinthians 3:1-5.
When reading them there I felt that whisper of the Holy Spirit knowing if my story could help one person it would be the ministry of Christ that I hoped for. I was ill and encouraged to share my journey as I wasn’t expected to have the best outcome and yet, I am still here, can I get a Praise God? Though life is an ongoing challenge, I enjoy the blessings of advances in medicine, a wonderful team of doctors, and a fabulous family. So yes, I am still fighting the good fight and learning along the way, taking in every breath of life as a blessing.
Listen for the Whispers
We are a Letter to be Read
My original work is a memoir of sorts and inspiration piece. After, almost dying some said, “you should write another book.” Funny thing is I hadn’t planned the first, yet, I wanted my children, as my parents had taught me to see the world of others through the written word of books. Knowing the possibility was strong that I wouldn’t be present to mentor them, I wanted to share the story of my stages, and I thought I could take a snapshot where they could see me through the chapters I had shared.
We are a letter read by everyone for the ministry of Christ. If we believe in Him as our loving sacrifice and savior, our hearts shine for HIM. When we allow His direction and step back from our own purpose, God will use things for His good.
It has been a few years since my little book and I have to say, “It has been a ministry.” I know that we all have a story or a letter if you will read by everyone. I shared mine hoping to learn others and share in their journey’s.
It has been a blessing to meet a new people seeking God or trying to re-focus on Him. This is the focus of my hub The Stages Of ME. It has brought me to many hurts and life strengthens us than ourselves. Writing has brought me to a place where I feel God continues polishing me and for this I'm grateful. I consider Hub pages a blessing interacting with people from everywhere is cool, keyboard to keyboard connecting through ideas!
It is well
It Only Takes A Spark
We have only one voice in a huge world. We have but one set of ears to listen to the cries of many, one set of eyes to see the good and also see the sad destruction of our humanity.
Regardless of trials, there are blessings when we have faith in the storms of life, and yet we realize we live in the flesh. How we wish our flesh would not control our thoughts or feelings for even one minute hoping for complete surrender to God our loving Father. Knowing Him we can rest in the peace He dwells inside of us, yet we know a war is raging, a spiritual battle that attempts to root us in this world.
How we wish the hurdles would no longer present themselves that is not possible here in this earthly world. We must accept our trials and learn to do so with grace and forgiveness, we walk in faith and in the example of Jesus Christ our Savior.
But, our flesh limits complete peace! Every day we fight against the rule of sin, part of this earthly body. Sin presents itself in many simple ways, in a harsh word, impatience, frustration, the many things we are in our imperfection. So, my friends, we will wait here for God's perfect plan to unwind.
Be the challenge to humanity, don't judge one another, rather reach out and link arms to be a force of strength for God's promises. His example of the cross was amazing. Stop comparing your difference, stop hurting others believing it's without consequence, get out of your comfort zone with your circle and reach for others who do not know the solace of a life walking in faith.
Welcome others to your understanding. Listen for the Holy Spirit in your life. Maybe then we can all live with the awareness that God is watching and ever-present. He shows us what to do in His Word. Maybe we could read the Bible again, we need to remain in His word.
"In God, We Trusted, One Nation Under God." Close your eyes for just a moment and imagine a world of only love and kindness. Now open those eyes! That is what heaven will be like I want us all to be there! We can step it up, I know we can. It only takes a spark!
