The Sun Going Down

Updated on September 28, 2012

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Ephesians 4:26

The bible says that you can be angry but you can't sin and not to go to bed angry. I have done this so many times. I go to bed angry and sometimes I wake up angry. I end up sinning in the way that I say mean things because I have been hurt in some way. How can we overcome this type of behavior? I think that when you get angry we should try not to re-act immediatly, but rather pray. Instead of counting to ten, just pray. Pray that God will help you be calm and deal with your anger. God made us with these emotions so it is just a matter of dealing with them.

I honestly think that many health problems are caused from anger. Holding anger in is bad for your general health. There are people that have been holding grudges for years. Hanging on to this type of bitterness can eat away at you and your body. My theory is stomach issues and any digestive issues can result because of it.

Pray for one another concerning anger issues. Anger can cause hasty and bad decisions that have negative longer consequences.
