The Value of Worship:

Three Values of Worship

Text: Luke 4: 5-8

The highest form of Worship can be seen only in the Church. According to the text above: The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only. (NIV)

In today's lesson we will learn the three values of worship.

1. Worship is the most precious of all PRIORITY/PRIORITIES.

Nowadays, Christians go to church only to enjoy and have fun for themselves. They enjoy by doing activities not related to God and the church activities. Jesus said to Satan, "Satan, worship the Lord your God,".

2. Worship is the most precious of ALL AUTHORITY/AUTHORITIES.

We have to balance everything that we encounter in our lives. We maybe busy when it comes to earthly things or activities however we have to listen to God's voice before it's too late. We don't know when our deadline is (death). The last authority talks about your own decision to stop doing unnecessary things and to let God into your lives.

3. Worship is the most precious of ALL RESPONSIBILITIES.

Satan said: I'll give you everything, you can decide on your own only if you worship me.

Satan always deceives us with sparkly offers so that we cannot do what we suppose to do in Church. This is also to remind us not to be shattered with these offers. We have to stand firm always to God and not to be weak when serving God. We take responsibilities of our actions that can give Glory to God.

Lesson: You can have all the things that you desire, whether materially or spiritually if you worship and go to Church every Sunday. The Bible says, worship God and He is only our King.
