The Wheat, Tare, and the Weeds, Pt 2 The Coming Shaking

Updated on February 24, 2010

The Spirit of Heaviness

The Lord has addressed to me that we are in a season of heaviness. Most of you wouldn’t even believe how many people are going to psychologist, psychiatrists, mental hospitals, and places of the such due to heaviness and depression. Most of you are shaking your heads right about now, because you know, you are not too far from it yourselves. Some of you have relatives who are being attacked by manic depression and other related underlying mental diseases, that you deem them incurable. Teenagers are undergoing an attack of unworthiness and battle with self esteem issues, more now than ever before.

This is the season where this Spirit of Heaviness is running loose upon the earth, like the enemy seeking to devour its next prey. It’s a hunter, seeking victims who are weak and heavily laden. These victims are those

1. are always going through something
2. don’t know if they are coming or going
3. lives have been turned up-side-down over the past few months
4. effected by deaths, financial downturns, family crises, self afflicted wounds and disappointments.. from family, friends, and even the Church

Its only by the grace of God do many survive…

All of these events can and has caused hopelessness because hope has been deferred. ( Proverbs 13:12). AND hope that is deferred, makes the heart sick. If you read the entire chapter, you will know exactly why these things occurred and understand why the heart is sick.

Now I am going to say this…Some of you who are in the spirit will catch this revelation…

According to Proverbs 13, from the 1rst verse to the 12th describes just a few of the characteristics.. of the tare mentioned in Matthew 13:24-30. From the 13th verse to the 25th explains the difference between a wheat and a tare and the rewards for each. I don’t have the time to go through it all right now, however, read my blog entiled, Wheat, Tare, and the Weeds.

So now you have an understanding as to what we are talking about here, I want to go into the harvest cycle we are approaching and why the spirit of heaviness is trying to take control. We all know that the wheat, tares, and the weeds, all have a hard chaff ( an outer shell that covers the seed) that has to be stripped before becoming edible. Please note: A tare and weeds are never edible. You can get sick and die from them. Only the wheat is healthy for consumption.

The farmer has to sift wheat, tares, and weeds, to loosen the chaff from the edible grain, which is called threshing. The old fashioned way to do this is to spread the wheat onto a floor made from stone, concrete or tamped earth and to beat it with a flail. The next step is called winnowing, where the loosened chaff is removed from the grain. The old fashioned way of doing this was to throw the grain in the air, where the lighter chaff would be blown off by even a decent breeze. The heavier grains would fall back to the ground below where they were thrown.

Going back to the parable, The farmer fell asleep. Pretty much like most of the church. What happened when Samson fell asleep? His covenant was broken and his anointing was severed. His strength was removed because Samson allowed Delilah to shave his head. The church has done the same thing. The church allowed doctrines of man sever the relationship with God. This happens when the church (much like Israel when they had married outside their own culture) invited the world systems into the house of prayer.

Let me explain. I understand I have to break things down to some of you as if you were two year olds…

How many churches have gospel rappers, drill teams, (better yet) congregations who party on Saturday nights, come to church Sunday, and dance while in their mess. Doctrinal error number 1. Some church doctrines says that a person can come to church, (any kind of way), bring worldly behavior with them and call them gifts. Some churches believe as long as the house is packed, and money is flowing, people can do whatever they want without repentance and holiness.. This is what I meant by the church has fallen asleep. For these reasons a shaking is coming to the earth. This shaking goes beyond earthquakes and natural disasters. This is the shaking that takes place on the threshing floor.

Scripture Referrence

 James 5:7-8
Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Revelation 14:15
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear

We need to stop blaming the devil for this shaking. The word clearly states that God allows this shaking. The Lord will allow this shaking in order to separate the wheat from the tares. The entire chapter confirms the separation process that we the church must shed our chaffs.

Hebrews 12
1&2. Tells us to get rid of the weight of sin and look to Jesus (the author and finisher of our faith)
3&4. Teaches us to use Jesus as our example. Compare his trials with ours and know that Jesus sufferings were by far greater. Especially because we haven’t shed our own blood for the sins of the world.
5-8. Encourages us not to forget that we are children of God and don’t get mad when we are chastised by Him. He only does it because He love us and want us to do better. We can endure it because God wouldn’t chastise to bring hurt, harm, or danger. If there are people who are not being chastised, its because they are not sons and daughters of God. The Bible calls them bastards. Illegitimate offspring and not true sons [at all].
9-11. We have respect for our earthly fathers when they have brought correction. AND if we can submit to them, than we can do the same to our Heavenly father.

See this discipline is only the beginning of the threshing. Discipline is our shake-up. Sure it may hurt and not be so pleasant to endure. All this is to prove holiness because without it, no man shall see God. This is how God removes the chaff from the seed. He has to send us through rigorous shaking (discipline) in order to expose edible seeds.

The Threshing

See this discipline is only the beginning of the threshing. Discipline is our shake-up. Sure it may hurt and not be so pleasant to endure. All this is to prove holiness because without it, no man shall see God. This is how God removes the chaff from the seed. He has to send us through rigorous shaking (discipline) in order to expose edible seeds.

We are encouraged to go through it with strength. We are urged not to become like Esau who was a fornicator with profane tongue, who sold his birthright for a piece of meat. Esau lost his blessing and repented when it was already too late for him.

Please do study the scriptures mentioned in this message because I have another important point to make.

In the beginning of this message, we talked about the spirit of heaviness. Do you all understand that this heaviness is the chaff. The chaff is the hard shell like nuts. Here is where the scaling away gets interesting. Some of chaffs can come off easily. The farmer usually use a pitchfork like tool to thrust wheat in the air, where the wind sheds off the chaffs.

What happened in the upper room the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit moved like a mighty rushing wind and they all were filled. The gift of tongues were evidence of such movement. Do you understand that for some of us discipline isn’t necessary to remove our chaffs. Jesus said that if we love him we would keep his commandments. And he will send us another comforter (Holy Spirit) to guild us into all truths will be in us. Knowing this truth, the Holy Spirit convicts us when we do wrong. We immediately know to repent when we are in error because the Holy Spirit brings it to our remembrance right away (John 14:15-17 & 26).

For this cause we can not be tossed to and fro with every wind of false doctrines and teachings. The Word says that we should know the truth and that the truth shall make us free.

Do you know if the farmer is the false prophet, when he tosses the seeds in the air, false doctrines, causes the chaff to stay on the seeds and they fall to the floor whole. Those are the tares because they are smaller and heavier. Our God is bigger and stronger.

Farmers are Threshing their grains

Quick Revelation

My My My….I just caught this revelation…Thank you God for it..

The bible says that we who are in Christ shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye. Changed from mortal to immortality. And when it is all said and done, hell and Haties will be cast into the lake of fire. So the wheat will be changed and the tares will be cast into the lake of fire to burn forever. May I go back to the scripture in Hebrews 12. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

I think I will end it here....

Saints don't fall asleep on this message. Its time that we all wake up because the Lord is soon to come.....
