The Wicked Shadowy Side of Astrological Sun Signs, Part 3/3

To the negative Piscean, rejection and failure are akin to character assassination. The self-esteem of a negative Piscean is fragile enough without having to face such normalities of life such as rejection and failure. For some, the prospect of rejection and failure is so psychologically, even psychically daunting that they are fearful of trying anything because they believe that there is a very high probability that they will be either be rejected or just fail.

There are many negative Pisceans who elect to live vicariously through their more successful family members, relatives, peers, and associates. They actually get a visceral euphoria hearing about the successes of others as they are too risk aversive and fearful of actually accomplishing success and/or renown themselves. Maybe they have internalized a script that they will never be successful which eventually became a self-fulfilling prophecy.

There are negative Pisceans who believe that any type of success is out of their purview. They believe that success belongs to those who are fortunate and/or lucky. Furthermore, they believe that they are unworthy and undeserving of success. These are the people who work in jobs which are far beneath their educational and intellectual ability. They believe that they are untalented and incapable even though they are often the opposite.

The situation of these negative Pisceans is analogous to a hungry beggar looking at those at a sumptuous feast. They want to be successful and have the good things of life but believe they are not worthy and are destined to receive only the crumbs and scraps of life. Many of these Pisceans have such a negative attitude towards success and affluence that perpetual unemployment and/or homelessness is not an uncommon occurrence.

Many negative Pisceans are often in very abusive relationships. Because of their low and/or nonexistence sense of self, they attract people who are quite dominant, controlling, and/or abusive mentally, emotionally, and/or physically. However, despite their abuse, they are loathe to leave their abuser because they believe that they are stuck in the situation and cannot do any better. Many of them are perversely comfortable in abusive relationships, contending that they are not worthy of more loving and respectful relationships. The concept of loving and respectful relationships is so unfathomable to these Pisceans...........they prefer to be mired in misery in order to obtain the sympathy of others or woe, woe, woe is me!

In summation, people are mostly interested in the positive aspects of astrology. Well, why not? Everyone loves the hear the good aspects of their respective sun sign typology as it strokes their ego. Besides, reading about the positive aspects also makes one feel like the king or queen of his/her world. But.........yes, there is a but, people do not usually want to read about the negative aspects of their sun sign typology. Why? Because the very subject makes them feel quite uncomfortable and people do not want to hear about their dark and shadowy shade. This is because we all have a dark side. We all know this and it is about time we face and address it for our ultimate betterment!
