The World Doesn't Understand

Updated on December 21, 2011

The World Doesn't Understand

When you look around this world today,

See the things happening in this hour,

We know that God has not forgotten us.

He is still full of Grace and mighty Power.

They wonder if anything can bring peace

To this great world that has gone so wrong.

They are singing peace in every language ,

But to those that sing it's an imaginary song.

We know the world does not really realize

With all of the things they are doing today,

That this life here will not go on forever.

For without change ,Hell is just a step away!

We have often heard people speak of Hell,

And we usually hear it in such a joking way.

They don't know there are no friends there,

Only pain and torment , not like people say.

I want to tell them all about The Lord Jesus ,

For I know I would never wish Hell on anyone.

But how can I tell them if they do not listen?

I must leave them to Jesus ,His Will be done!

************************************************

When we look around and see all

of the things that is going on here ,we

feel sick at heart but how do you think

The Lord feels ? He has loved us and

cared for us and now He sees a world

full of wickedness of every kind that we

have allowed to take control of our lives

and hearts.Yet in all of this if we would

go to Him and ask forgiveness He would

take us back and clean us up and make

us fit for His Kingdom. He has been Loving

and patient but He cannot wait forever for

us to come to Him.When He comes back

He will come quickly ,without any warning,

So we must all be ready when He calls!

AMEN! MY DEAR FRIEND, this is so TRUE. So many joke about HELL but HELL is a REAL PLACE OF TORMENT for those who will not accept our DEAR SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST! Another thing, the words, "MY GOD," is too often used as an exclamitory by word, instead of being used as calling on the NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS IN A PRAYERFUL WAY. I think there could be a message in this. Love you, Tessie

Mr. P. That is easier to write.Yes., I know sometimes we have to go through great trials before we will go to The Lord.It is a shame we have to do it before we are willing to submit to God's Will . We know He only wants the best for us but some people are not willing to believe until they are forced to make a choice. There are so many lost ones out there that we will have to spend a lot more time in prayer for them .Prayer can do wonders. Each wartime we hear that "there are no atheists in foxholes!" God can fashion the needed test or trials for each of His children. Just keep doing your best. God can do the rest. Mr. P.

hi Perspycacious,It is so hard wherever you go to see that man has lost the feel of God and Eternal damnation. They seem to think that was for people in years past , not seeming to realize that God's Word is everlasting. How do you get to their hearts. I try to through my poems but sometimes I wonder if I am doing any good .God gives them to me and I have many loved ones who are out of the ark of safety. They do not listen to me but I am praying that somehow God's words will get through to them. I am sure I am not the only one with lost ones, surely there must be some way we can get to them before it is too late ,Christ's returning seems to be getting nearer and time is short to touch souls. It seems like sometimes they think Satan is just a myth that someone made up . How do you make them believe that he is evil and that he is real?

Christ taught us of a loving God, and I believe we have taken Christ's atonement for granted, probably another of Satan's great lies, once again trying to convince us not to worry for we surely won't die. The unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, but blasphemy takes many forms. Some will say "but when did I ever do that?" Christ was wrongly crucified for blasphemy, but were we in His day of mortality, many of us could rightfully be convicted of blasphemy, leaving repentance and true love of God our only hope for an eternity with God. There is much more involved, if we are to truly know Christ, we must do our best to live our mortality more as He lived His. I believe that is the true meaning of John 17:3 which reads: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. "

Hi Perspycacious, I was jus going over the poems and I am not sure if I had answered your comment ,If I didn't I am sorry. I want to thank everyone who takes time to write to me.Things used to be bad back when I believe you are talking about President Carter. We have to wonder how much longer God will put up with all of the things going on in this world today before He says ,"It's enough",People seem to have no fear of God anymore

Thank you so much for your comment I really appreciate favorable comments,I didn't know how the poems would be accepted but I have been fortunate to get so many nice reviews. I said poems , I can't say mine because God gave the ideas for them , sometimes getting me up in the middle of the night, and as you know if something comes to you you had better write it down then , otherwise it will be completely gone. good to hear from you ,Clara

Up and beautiful HUB for me. You have a gift for poetry , that is clear as the words and rhymes work so effortlessly, easy to read, not so easy to write! My novel series, "Seeds from Heaven" can be summed up in your words here today.

Years ago (about 30) I was driving through Washington, DC with three of my children. One asked, "Daddy, why is Washington so dirty?" That child was asking about the litter and general dirtiness of the streets, but I reacted to what I was seeing with this answer: "Because we have just driven through an intersection where you can buy any kind of drugs at any hour of the day, and night; now we're going past the strip joints and porno parlors." At that point we turned the corner and drove past the White House (which was possible in those days) which was, as I recall, the home of a president who taught Sunday school on occasion. After each of several inaugurals, I wrote a letter to the new president which simply said, "Save this letter in case you are ever feeling like the most powerful man in the world, and this will remind you that you can't even clean up Washington, DC." It's still true today. There was nothing that went on in Sodom and Gomorrah that doesn't go on in Washington, DC. God and God's laws are unchanging, the fate of such cities is likely to be the same as the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. We have been forewarned, and God will not be mocked. Christ pleaded "Forgive them Father for they know not what they do." We have been warned to plead, "Father forgive us for we do not what we know."
