Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

The year of 2016 is now behind us and being written in the history books. As in past years, there is little doubt the church in the West being in the misted of transition and continues to be in a slumber of collective inactivity without a significant revival evidently sweeping the land. We are a nation more concerned with cruelty to animals than are concerned with America's unborn babies sacrificed to the god of convenience. A total of 58,586,256 abortions as I write this as a result of Roe vs. Wade with less than 1% due to rape, incest, or the life of the mother. Abortion on demand is the murder of an innocent victim without a voice.

Return to a Godly base is the only possibility of extricating the country from its attraction with godlessness and glorifying the dark side. It does not take a lot of discernment to recognize idols exist everywhere. It can be said that America is inviting God's wrath. His judgment is coming whether each of us individually is ready or not. Quite the sobering thought. However, at Christmas, we celebrate not the world or gifts, but the birth of a King, the Lord Jesus Christ.

That brings up a point. Jesus Christ is the Messiah in Christmas. He came to save the world through love, not a rope around the head or chop it off because of non-belief. There is not one reason for a non-Christian family to celebrate this season except as an "I am off for the Holidays break celebration" or whatever. Not as one of the families of God even though He loves them. To do so would be hypocritical.

I need revival, we need revival!

What has happened and is happening?

Is there a national revival on the horizon now that the presidential election is over and a deeply divided country elects Donald Trump? No country in the world needs a Godly revival more than America. Christianity, even among evangelicals, is as divided as the other factions that exist in our nation.

White Christians no long make up the majority of people in America. The decline has been gradual, but steady, and according to the Public Religion Research Institute, White Christians are now a minority In 19 American states — Including some parts of the Bible belt. Overall, Americans who identify as Protestant are now in the minority for the first time, clocking in at a mere 47 percent of Americans and falling. Christians have never needed more in history to be taught to be a disciple themselves and then learn to disciple someone else. The Corinthian church is alive and well in America. The Christian conservative is having a harder time “coming out” in public than do the LGBT crowd. The society we live in is more likely to be politically correct than to honor the God that made them. Read on.

A 2015 headline from Pew Research is telling and interesting to investigate in light of the decline of white Christians. Where and why did the leave the Christian faith? “Why Muslims are the world’s fastest-growing religious group.” The method of their growth is Satanic in nature as evident from the brutality they employ. Is this the way we want the world to go? Evangelism is out of favor with the body of Christ not because of the Word itself. Jesus commanded: “Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” We must do this in love. The question then becomes, ‘How can one make a disciple, or reproduce themselves, if they are not a disciple themselves?’ Is it the “G” or the “0” that becomes misunderstood.

Domestic terrorism and related radical national violence — as opposed to a terrorist attack emanating from abroad — continues to plague our world. A study reveals that the vast majority of this violence in the world comes from “lone wolves” or “leaderless resistance” groups, a majority of the latter composed of just two men. The two men on either side of our Lord were Jewish radicals or lone wolves. Both were outside His will through doing what they thought to be right. However, both were without His saving grace until one humbled himself and recognized Him for who He was. God came down to save the humanity He created.

Now there is the attack with a truck on a Christmas celebration in Berlin, Germany which killed 12 men, women, and children. Remember the Ohio State University attack where Somali suspect Abdul Razak Ali Artan was inspired by the goals of the Islamic State. Either 10 or 11 innocent victims were hurt in this attack. Never forget San Bernardino where Islamic extremists killed thirteen and injured seventeen in 2015. Also never forget the Islamic attack on the twin tower buildings on September 11, 2001. 2,823 souls died in that Satanic attack.

Abortionists are having a field day in this cooperative American politically correct society. Infanticide is a sin. Legal infanticide is still a sin. Just because it is legal law in the United States does not make it right with God. Again, the total number of abortions since 1973 stands at 58,586,256.

Now we learn that suicide is at a thirty year high in America. Things are not getting better. America’s political correctness has barred many towards labeling ISIS or ISIL, or whatever name they call themselves today what they are, as terrorist. If they are called what they are that makes you and I an “Islamaphobe.” A peaceful Islamic is an oxymoron. Have we so quickly forgotten Texas (Islamic soldier kills 12 and wounds 31 at Fort Hood), or Oregon (Islamic sympathizer shooter killed ten Christians and injured seven others.), or Lebanon (Death toll in Beirut bombings reaches 43, over 2,000 injured as Islamic State claims responsibility). In Africa, thousands have been massacred by the Islamic-backed Boko Haram in Nigeria. In the Middle East (The death of Christianity in the Middle East?), Asia, New Zeland, or other points of the world the death toll continues to mounts?

In the liberal Colorado, supposed Christians combine pot with Biblical Studies. At least, there are studying the Bible. I do not see where marijuana exists mentioned as permissible in the Word of God. Without being judgmental, we are to be the light of the world without lighting up marijuana.

Thus this is the world we live in as we walk where we live in the name of the Lord as His representative. Jesus Christ was not born in the month of December of the American Calendar. That was designed by retailers who needed to prop up their dreary winter sales figures. The actual date we will never know in this lifetime unless some document is discovered to verify the date.

Time is growing short!

The Rest of the Story.

The world is full of apostasy, and the United States is no exception. I did not single out any further examples even though I could. However, there are much more out there.

Christians committing sin and the Word of God have never mixed. The Book of Acts is full of examples of this. The consequences of willful sin, whether by nations or individuals, is not overlooked by God and is devastating. Christ needs people who remember what He said: “Go” and proclaim the Gospel to the world. (Mark 16.15) Draw a circle around yourself and let revival start within your circle.

How many Christians are willing to be imprisoned for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Jail time, when compared to eternity, is incredibly insignificant. Do you remember back in 2014 ISIS took over Quaragosh, the biggest Christian city in Iraq with many beheadings? The liberal media failed to cover the event when Christians were murdered. For the most part, Boko Haram killings miss the evening news as well.

Ruth Graham once remarked, "If God does not punish America for its sin, He is going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah." Jude said this, “Likewise, these people, with their visions, defile their own flesh, despise godly authority and insult angelic beings. (Jude 1.8) America with its certain worldliness is its own worst enemy. Our greatest sin was the court’s rejection of God. He is certainly welcome into the hearts of those that love Him. Make no doubt about it; He loves everyone even though they do not return the love.

As you can easily see, the church has a long way to go in teaching the inerrant Word of God. Wake up Church; you can not mix Christianity and any other religion. It is impossible, and teacher's of this apostasy will have to stand before God and answer for calling Him a liar. The following verses explain this position.

God said in Matthew 3:17, "And see a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." God also said in Mark 9:7, "And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him." Jesus said in John 14:6, " to him (Thomas), “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Is America listening?

The truth is sometimes harsh. However, I would rather confront apostasy with the truth than to answer God on why I did not speak up and say something. The Word of God is, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever," Hebrews 13:8! Moreover, Psalm 121:4, "Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep."

I would love to hear from you. Thank you and God's blessings, Professor Hill.

A peaceful Christmas scene
