The Years

Updated on February 17, 2014

The years have flown by, leaving home to today. I have made quite a journey along the way. Five children I dearly love and a Savoir from above, who took me in when I had no clear view. His hand held me up and guided me to you, now I see how life should be. I have a companion and a friend I never thought love could be so sweet. I met you on a whim as October 2000 came in, I took a chance that love would call and for you I did fall. I know we have been through pains and hurt, we also have so many joys I can't even begin to tell. The greatest of these for me has been the day we gave up and let Jesus in. Seeing our children asking and seeking for God seeing my daddy walking where the saints do trod, being led to South Dayton Baptist Church and holding your hand along the way. Of all the joys we have shared so far the best are yet to come. I can imagine no greater treasure than to serve God with a wife like you serving too. Having you by my side hand in hand praising Jesus raising open arms to Him with you is a joy I cherish. Our real work as a couple is really just beginning, spreading the Gospel to those who never heard, strenthening those who know the word, preparing the saved for those last days standing and singing God's great praise. Looking in your eyes seeing oyur glow, saying I love you is different than I have ever known. I look so forward to June going to share what we know, the love of God so strong and pure so measureless and sure, I love you so much I can't find the words I just hope all my actions will show, I love your eyes a glow I love your hands beautoiful and strong, I love you care and compassion and how you take care of me, I will love you through eternity.

Update

Since the original publication of this hub our lives have been a whirlwind, all for the good though.

We have enjoyed a ministry where God continues to open doors. What an amazing journey we have been on! Thank you Jesus!
