The best treatment available .... God's mercy!
The very best treatment of all is God's mercy.
There is no better treatment than God's mercy. No better treatment. It has been said that unless you experience loss, hardship, trouble or tribulation that you will not even be able to identify or recognize the great mercy of our Lord. It becomes the very greatest gift of all and is a gift we do not even deserve. We really and truly do not. I am so unworthy yet He loves me anyway and He loves you. It is truly amazing grace. Maybe well beyond our human comprehension. The Bible even goes further and states that often trials, tribulation and even affliction should be regarded actually as a blessing from our God. Sometimes that can be very difficult to understand. Recently, I read God can be and is toughest on His toughest soldiers. It would allow an individual to be able to differentiate the good from the bad. Discernment if you will. Difficulty could lead you in a different direction in your life. Perhaps a very Godly one. Certainly a very humble one. Quite possibly it could bring us even closer to our Lord and ultimately develop our character. With that in mind we should note that the best treatment for any trial would indeed have to be the unending mercy of our Lord. There are times in our lives when we will be sick. Some of us will have to deal with disease. In some cases, our earthly lives will not survive. I think the sadness lingers for all of us that are left behind. From a human perspective we will certainly miss those who we lose and who we love. The good part is that we have a God of mercy. We have a God who gave His own life to sacrifice for ours. So we have lost nothing. That is truly the best treatment we can ever receive. God's mercy is the best medicine available at all times. You may acquire all the material things that this world has to offer and yet you will be left feeling empty. So very empty. If you are spiritually broke then you are broke. There is no way around it. The only way to the Father is through the Son. The only way. We have a savior in Jesus and one who loves us so very much. God has mercy on us and He certainly has mercy on our souls. Get to know our Jesus and let Him work in your everyday life. He takes compassion on us and He loves us so dearly. Loving Him has been and continues to be the single most important factor in my life. I am but a servant to our Lord but boy does it feel good. I go to sleep and wake every day knowing He loves me and wow does He love me. He loves and adores you. He shows His mercy to us each and every moment. Let Him in and let Him work. It will make all the difference in the world. God's mercy is indeed the greatest thing in our lives. Here are some verses which highlight God's mercy. There are so many more:
James 2:13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Psalm 136:4 To Him who alone does great wonders, for His mercy endures forever.
Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Micah 7:18 Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He who does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy.
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
God bless always.
