The mysterious world and the philosophies associated with!

Updated on May 6, 2016

Some Truths..

Is the creation, part of God?

Do you believe the theory that all is God, and nothing exists apart from him? Of course, it is difficult to believe but the scriptures and Hindu philosophy affirms this point. Also in the Geetha teachings that took place around 5000 years during the great Kurukshethra war, Lord Krishna repeats the same sentiment to the warrior Arjuna! He has said that the entire creation is part of Him!

As we become more and more rational and demand proof for every little thing, it has become difficult for the people of current age to believe such truths which are eternal like the creation itself. This non-dual philosophy has not evolved out of chance or choice; it is the irrevocable fundamental of creation. May be, each religion may narrate the creation in different ways. In the Bible, it is said that the Lord created the world in six days and rested on the seventh. Likewise, each religion has some Truth to rely and explain the manifestation of the perceived universe. But, the Vedas, Upanishads and epics narrate them in a very detailed manner. But the most advanced theories of creation could not be grasped by ordinary worldly people who rely on their senses for every little act. As we see the external world with the eyes, we take it to be very real. It is not only the experience of one individual, every other too perceive the world in the same manner and communicate the same to others.

Imaginary sights.

Philosophers of the West!

There was no dearth of philosophers in the ancient periods. Not only in India, but everywhere, there were great brains that made extensive research on logic and physics. They come to the conclusion that there must be some super power, which governs the entire creation, which enable creation, sustenance and absorption in a systematic pattern. Aristotle, Plato, Socrates and other great minds expounded many theories on this. Since the religious minded people found those theories obnoxious, they tortured some and killed the beautiful theories even before they come to the light of the world. But, many students of Socrates have secretly recorded his teachings and we could access some of them. Later even powerful kings and leaders admired their wisdom and hence we have today, ‘meditations of Marcus Aralias Antonio, which is the gist of all philosophical thoughts. During the advent of Jesus, He too pronounced many valid Truths about the Father in heaven, human life, sin and merits and the commandments and sermons which teach ordinary man how to live and behave in the world.

The aim of human life as per the scriptures!

Likewise in the later years, Prophet Mohammad preached valid truths about Allah and the covenants to be adopted by the followers which are enshrined in Holy Koran. Buddha came and preached non-violence since people had no hesitation to slaughter dumb animals for the sake of sacrifices and flesh eating was mostly prevalent during that period. Likewise, Zoroastrian religion too evolved on the basis of fire worship. Each such religion emphasized the holy Truth that God is the indweller and if anyone hurt other, he really hurts God within. Likewise, if anybody helps others, he serves the God within. Based on that supreme Truth, Jesus has emphasized that “ALL ARE ONE, BE ALIKE TO EVERY ONE! Since all are brothers, it is essential that we should love each other since God loves all. Theft, adultery and cheating were considered the great sins against humanity. He preached compassion and tolerance wherever He went. His immortal teachings survive time. When each and every religion preach love and tolerance, it is sad ‘why people kill each other in the name of religion? If only they are aware of the great Truth, they won’t commit such atrocities.

Desires and greed thwart human mind. Pride and power seeking make him a beast. So many wars were fought in the past. Billions of lives have lost and equal numbers were maimed. All this makes us to think that human virtues have extinguished from the heart of people. Hence God frequently sends sages, saints and prophets to teach the people ethics of life. The great tragedy is that we are not aware of the aim of human life. We feel that it is our choice to lead our life for the enjoyment of animal pleasures.

This faculty of thinking power and discrimination has been granted to us for the sole reason of realizing our fundamental identity with God. We parted from Him and our only aim is to merge back in him.

The scorching heat of Sun evaporates the surface water of the ocean. The evaporated water form as clouds in the sky.. On cooling, they become drops of water and falls as rain. If we observe the river system all over the world, they finally drain back in the ocean. This phenomenon teaches us the great Truth that we are all parted from the Divine and our ultimate destination is God. He wants every one of us should come back to Him. The devotees consider this as a play of God. But the philosophers treat this world as a ‘phantom’ and not real. It is the illusion created by the non existing mind!

We are imprisoned..
