Introduction to the Holy Eucharist?

There are men who have come in contact with this world and later left. They left the surface of the earth and never returned again. Men who knew when those who left were still on the planet earth kept thinking in their own quiet times on where the unseen are. They kept thinking on who knows if they are in good or bad conditions. They kept thinking asking "are they in haven or on hell? This question remains unanswered to many as they see it as something beyond their scope.

With the transformation that goes on in the church history, the Holy Eucharist stands as door that welcomes many people to embrace God for them to draw closer to the Infinite Intelligence and tap from his power. The Eucharist is the way to haven for does that understand the beauty in adoring the maker of the world and man.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states "the Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause of that communion in the divine life and that unity of the People of God by which the Church is kept in being. It is the culmination both of God's action sanctifying the world in Christ and of the worship men offer to Christ and through him to the Father in the Holy Spirit."

The Eucharist is powerful. The Eucharist is great. There is always transformation whenever He is adored. Till today, it is still a mystery to many because no man can understand everything about God. None Catholics who do not understand the personality of the Holy Eucharist keep asking questions about it. He is the beauty of the church.

Eucharist or Holy Eucharist is one of the sacraments of the Catholic Church. Sacrament is a Christian ceremony or ritual regarded as impacting divine grace, such as baptism, the Eucharist, penance, anointing of the sick, Holy matrimony, Confirmation, and Holy Order.

Truly, the Holy Eucharist is very sacred in the church and is considered a mystery because it is beyond human understanding or comprehension. In the church, Eucharist takes the place of the Old Ark of the covenant. The miracles that God perform through it are numerous and people, both catholic and non-catholic have given the personal encounter they had with it. The Eucharist is taken as God in form of bread.

During the Last Supper conducted by Jesus with His Apostles, He consecrated bread and wine into His body and blood. Since that incidence, the priests of Catholic Church adopted the tradition and represent Jesus Himself. In every mass that is said in the church, bread and wine is consecrated to body and blood of Jesus. This bread that represents Jesus is placed in a monstrance and is called Jesus in the Blessed Eucharist.

The Blessed Eucharist Heals the Sick

There are many people that do not believe that the Eucharist can heal the sick persons. On the other hand, many have testified on how they got their healing through the Eucharist. A testimony that a lady from Nigeria (name withdrawn) gave in a conference solidifies the healing power of the Holy Eucharist. According to the young lady, she said that she was suffering from asthma. He stated that she has been taking her drugs for long time and one day decided that she will not rely on the drugs again. She had been praying for God’s healing but one day was too special.

On that faithful day, she decided that is either God heals her from that or she dies. What a faith…During the mass, she said that is either God heal her or she dies. During the reception of the Eucharist in form of communion, she got her healing. She said that as soon as she received the communion of that day in her mouth, the communion turned to cold one which travelled from her throat down to her system. “After that day, I have not had anything like asthma”-she quoted. That is the healing power of Jesus Christ through the Eucharist.

In Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), Christians have been testifying on how they got healed through the Holy Eucharist. Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria is Ministry that is headed by Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka as the spiritual director. On every Friday of the week, people gather to adore God and many have their problems solved through there.

Another incidence of the healing power of the Eucharist was that that happened on the same adoration ground Enugu. There was a day when the crippled walked when the priest was praying and carrying the Eucharist in the adoration. Some members of the congregation taught it was a dream that day, but everything was for real.

Holy Eucharist rises the Dead

It appears as if the miracle of raising the death to life ended after the death of Jesus Christ. No, it still happens in the present time and I will give you a real testimony on how dead son of a widow was raised to life through the Eucharist.

Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka of Nigeria once said that the dead has been raised to life on one of the adoration days at Enugu, but I taught it was a joke until a legitimate priest confirmed it.

In one of the religious gathering held at Charismatic Programme in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK), Nigeria, the chaplain of St. Joseph the Worker Chaplaincy confirmed an incidence which involved rising of a dead to life by the Holy Eucharist. According to the Chaplain, he said that when he was in Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria; a widow was crying bitterly carrying the dead body of his last remaining child. She said: “I am tired of burying my children and this is the last one, I want God to do something if he is still God”. According to the chaplain of UNIZIK, Fr. Mbaka carried the dead child and placed him on top of the altar in front of the Eucharist and told all the priests to pray with him and the priest that was saying this was in the adoration ground and he took part in the prayer. During the prayer, the dead came back to life and stood up. According to the chaplain, there was a very loud noise in the adoration ground that day.

The Holy Eucharist Casts Out Demons

On many occasions have people gave testimonies on how the evil spirits that were tormenting them left through the exposition of the Eucharist. The Eucharist is a treat to evil spirits as no power can challenge that of God. Because Jesus Christ is the scourge of the demons, so is the Holy Eucharist which is Jesus Himself.

Personally, I have seen people who were made free from evil spirits through the intervention of the Eucharist. At St. Joseph Catholic Parish Awada, Onitsha, Nigeria, whose parish priest is Fr. Jude Onyeka, some members of the congregation that take part in adoration have been made free from evil spirits through the Eucharist. During the encounter with the Eucharist, most of them act radically while the prayer warriors guide them from getting injured.

Eucharist is God in the form of bread. The Holy Eucharist is very powerful and therefore embrace, adore and worship Him to tap from Him.The Eucharistic power is something that cannot be joked with in the practice of the Catholic faith. In fact, if you joke a lot, do not joke to the area of the Holy Eucharist.

is not even up to the introduction on the power of the Holy Eucharist. The Eucharist has raised the dead, healed the sick, healed the cripple and promoted the spiritual lives of many Christians. Some have built serious intimacy with the Eucharist that they feel like staying with the Eucharist all through in their lives. The Eucharistic power has done so many miracles and I personally worship Jesus in the Eucharist.
