The secret to a divine relationship

Updated on December 13, 2012

This is how it happens

First God comes to you. He may come to you in a song, maybe by a friend or maybe in a circumstance. That is why it is important for us Christians not to push Christ on nonbelievers. If God is not calling them, it will be gibberish to them.

For me, my calling was in a tent during a revival meeting on a farm.

Where was yours?

Then when you feel Him calling, you accept Him. It will happen instantly. Yes, for many they will wrestle whether there is a God and why He is calling you but, once you accept His calling you accept Him.

Then when you accept Him you have faith in Him. It will be a tiny faith and be like taking baby steps. Many times you will fall. But, each time like a loving parent He will lift you up and encourage you on. As this process continues your faith in Him will increase. As a consequence your steps will become larger and more confident.

During this time you will develop a relationship with Him. As with young lovers you will want to spend time with Him in reading your Bible and talking with Him.

When you mature enough He will reveal to you His designated plan for your life. There will be many trials, troubles and snares in this time. Each time He will be there and guide you through them. It is during these times you will be drawn into the closest experience of His divine love.

Of course the relationship consummates in our ultimate joy of being in an infinite relationship with Him in Heaven.

“Jesus is always there, Jesus always cares .His love goes with me everywhere” Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) always provide me the strength to grow stronger every day in faith in You. I ask in the name of Him who had faith unto You even upon the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

      Good morning cristina.

I am happy to hear you share such a beautiful relationship with Jesus.

My family became involved in a cult in my young teenage years and stopped celebrating Christmas. Since then I have never celebrated it. I do however clebrate my relationship with the big three every day and it is more wonderful than my best Christmas.

May the gift of fellowship with Christ and those in His family bless you every day little sister.

This is beautiful teacherjoe52. Yes after 21 years of walking with Him, He never fails. Jesus never fails. Many people have already walked into my life and brought me chains of brokemmess but Jesus remained faithful all these years. He see me through all throughout the ups and downs of my life. He never change. His love is ever fresh each day. I am so grateful for finding Him in this life. Thank you Brother Joseph for posting this. How are you going to spend your Christmas this year ?

May you have a wonderful Christmas. Remain blessed always. Best regards.
