The word, the spirit the lover

Updated on December 31, 2012

The Christian sequence.

The Bible is the word of God, The Holy Spirit is the Teacher and Christ is the lover.

It is important to read the Word of God every day. It will supply us with knowledge.

The Holy Spirit will help us understand the knowledge and the knowledge will guide us to a deeper understanding of Jesus.

The understanding of Jesus leads us into a deep love relationship with Him.

Because we love Jesus we will obey what the Word through the Holy Spirit teaches us on how to live a Christ centered life.

That is why it is important every day to read our Bibles.

Just as important is asking the Holy Spirit to bless us with understanding what God is saying to us in our Bible reading BEFORE we enjoy reading the Instruction Book of Life. Every day God has something He wants to teach us either about Himself or how to develop a Christ like personality and ability to handle any situation that comes our way.

For example we will say you are a teacher and are experiencing a difficult class. As your patience begins to run out the Holy Spirit reminds you of the Bible verse you read that morning that states “My peace I leave you.” and you call out to Jesus saying “Jesus, I can’t handle this. I need Your peace.” Then, a feeling of peace envelopes you. As a consequence you develop a deeper love for Jesus.

We need to drink that spiritual water every day in order to continue on Christ's way. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit for enlarging my understanding of Your precious word so that I am blessed with a deeper love relationship with my Father. I give thanks for this blessing in the name of my big brother Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

      Hi Teacherjoe,

I Enjoyed your hub. Yes, the rreading of the Word each day is essential because it renews our mind daily as we are called to do. We are washed clean afresh by the renewal of our minds in Christ Jesus. It assists us in taking captive every thought. And as you expressed so clearly, there in the reading of the Word we can meet with Holy Spirit, our teacher. How precious. Voted useful and beautiful
