  1. Feel or show deep sorrow or regret for (someone or their death), typically by following conventions such as the wearing of black clothes.
  2. Feel regret or sadness about (the loss or disappearance of something).

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
meek - Showing patience and humility; gentle.2. Easily imposed on; submissive.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Gospel of St. Matthew 5:3-10

I love the beatitudes, they are so packed with truth and blessing. All to help us have a better attitude.
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you can make us more like your son Jesus. I pray that we will remember to have mercy and be humble in spirit. Use our writings to show others in how to get to know you and encourage broken spirits. I pray that others will come to know your gentle spirit. Fill us with your Holy Spirit and please give us all the right attitude or beatitudes.

In your precious name I pray, Amen
