Then They Shall Know that I Am Lord
How Can We KNOW the Lord?
"Then they shall KNOW that I AM LORD".
These are the words the Lord spoke to Ezekiel.
The Lord commanded Ezekiel to prophesy! He told
him to speak to dead bones.
Got any dead bones in your life today?
If you know the story, the Lord was commanding
him to prophesy to the nation of Israel.
He told Ezekiel that a nation from the North would be
coming against Israel in the last days and then there
will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.
In verse 20 the Lord says that "...all men who are on
the face of the earth shall SHAKE at MY PRESENCE!"
The Lord will fight for Israel and He will bring down
judgment against those who are against Israel.
Verse 22 "And I will bring him to judgment with
pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him,
on his troops, and on the many peoples who are
with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
Verse 23 "Thus I will MAGNIFY MYSELF and SANCTIFY MYSELF
and I will be KNOWN in the eyes of many nations.
THEN they shall KNOW that I AM THE LORD!"
What an Awesome God we serve. I'm so glad I am on His side!
He is the GREATEST General of all times! He has the greatest
battle plan of all time! And we, His children, are a part of His
end-time army! We are called to "GO FORTH" and to "PROPHESY"
to the dead bones like Ezekiel did. Why did the Lord command
Ezekiel to PROPHESY to the dead bones? Why didn't He just do it?
The answer is: We are HIS BODY! We are HIS HANDS, HIS MOUTHPIECE
and HIS FEET in the earth today! If it's going to be done...He will use
His Body to do it. You don't go to work everyday without your body, do
you? If you own a business, it is YOU who has to talk to the employees
and get them going. Well, the Lord is the same. We are His Body and
He told His disciples to "GO into all the world and preach the Gospel!"
He even endued us with POWER from on HIGH, so we could
be His powerful witnesses in the earth today. (See Acts chapters
one and two)
Speak to your dead bones! Go forth into all the nations
and let the Lord use you today!
