Two Types of People
2 Types of People In The World
Two Types of People - Introduction
The world is getting less friendly than perhaps than ever before. I was sitting on the floor of the third-floor office where I am stacking books by the type of books they are and came up with the title of this essay.
When you boil it down, the World is made up of really only two types of people. Those that have given their lives over to the Lord Jesus Christ and those that have not. This is my hypothesis anyway.
The gap between the two groups is wider today than it ever has been since the early days of the birthing of the church. (i.e. Stephen) One follows the rules and the will of God through the power of the Holy Ghost.
The Christian still may make mistakes for which they ask to be forgiven, and the other is under the power of the evil one whether they know it or not. Millions and millions do not know. The Apostle John states,
“We know that anyone born of God does not keep on sinning; the One who was born of God protects him, and the evil one cannot touch him. We know that we are of God and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one. contd
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.…” (1 John 5.18-20)
Bonus Note: On angels - Angels can materialize, take someone by the hand (Genesis 19), eat meals with them (Genesis 18), engage in physical combat (2 Kings19.35; Isaiah 37.36), etc.
Bonus: Demons - Always seeks embodiment: they appear powerless except to the extent that they can take possession of a person. Some suspect they may be the disembodied spirits of the hybrid Nephilim of Genesis 6.4 They are apparently ineligible for resurrection. (Isaiah 26.14)
You Harvest What You Plant
A Reminder - God's People Must Sow
I am reminded that God’s people must Sow (Mark 4.1-20), Shine with the light of love (Mark 4.21-25), then some will Reap (Mark 4.26-29), and we all should Trust our Lord more and more (Mark 4.35-41). Jesus taught His internal trustee’s parable meanings and His doctrine which we have and hopefully do not overlook.
In a recent poll by Goodman,
- 75 percent of Christians produce no fruit in their lives,
- 90 percent do not believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God,
and without judging, I would say it would be hard for these to shine with the light of the love of God and produce reaping to bring others within the body of Jesus Christ. They have no proper foundation on which to stand.
My recent studies have motivated me to revisit the Scriptures and make them a more important part of my life. What a wonderful privilege it is to have the Word of God and not question it is from God.
I was talking with my sister today and I thank God for a Godly mother who has passed and gone on to heaven, who kept me and her in Church and in the Word even when we didn’t want to when we were younger.
There are four different soils and four results that come from them from four different hearts.
1) A Hard Heart – resisting the Word of God making it easy for Satin to stand by (the birds) and snatch the Word away. We have to plow up the hard hearts, so they can receive the seed and this can be very painful. (Mark 4.15)
2) The Shallow Heart – Shallow soil, roots cannot withstand the sun, wind, snow, and rain. They are often the emotional hearer, not realizing the cost to be genuine. Always chasing the next experience. (Mark 4.16-17)
3) The Crowded Heart – One who does not truly repent nor remove the weeds from their lives. Worldly cares and lust for things choke the Spirit. (Mark 4.18-19)
4) The Fruitful Heart – A true believer changed by the Spirit whose life has been transformed. (Isaiah 55.8-11)
We sow the seed in our preaching, teaching, and witnessing. We must not become discouraged. (Galatians 6.9; Psalms 126.5-6)
Reap What You Sow
Reaping What We Sow
If fear knocks on your door, send faith to answer. Remember, there is no power in the world that can make a bad heart good. That's a fact, Jack!
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks God, All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one." Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive." The venom of asps is under their lips." Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness." Their feet are swift to shed blood.; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known." There is no fear of God before their eyes."
Now, Aren't you glad you are born again and a child of God because of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for you? There really are only two types of people. Those who are humbled and born again - washed clean - a child of God - following in the dust of the Rabbi - the Lord Jesus Christ!
The others neglect or detest the Word of God for whatever reason. Some are shameless, some are downright wicked, and insolence. Some are outrageous or may show unbridled lust and excess. Sin is Sin and these, if they should pass in this state, would spend eternity in hell. And I would not want this to happen. Think it over carefully and consider where you want to spend eternity. Heaven or Hell? Contact me to discuss this further.

Thank you for reading the essays. This one tended to be a heavy one in some respects and I hope you learned from it and came away from it better than you came. My purpose it writing the essays is that each person grows in their Christian walk and perhaps gets something new and fresh like a summer shower from each study.
If there is something you would like for me to write about and it is within my area of interest and education I will be glad to accommodate. Thank you and God be with you, Gary
