Hope Keeps Us Moving On To Victory
Motivation! Who among us doesn't need it? It's a principle of life that applies to all men. And for those of us how know Christ it's imperative that we're daily encouraged and motivated in our faith walk. We need to become good listeners because we find the good success we need and the joy of the Lord is increased by listening for words of wisdom and instruction. These words come in many forms; in word, song, writings, face to face conversations, and to the more mature, from the voice of the Lord himself. We learn that the singing of his praise will act as a weapon against fear and discouragement. In these difficult times, we're counseled by many words which encourage us to choose to trust and seek the right way. We're instructed to keep moving ahead through the darkest of times as we set our sights on the brighter days up ahead.
How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. Psalms 37
When the way ahead seems unclear and we look for hope and answers to the questions we have and the fears we face, we seek the face of Jesus. The message of hope in word and song reminds us to keep looking up to the source of all success. It is in our resolve to know him, and to experience the hope of the victorious life of walking daily by his side, that true success is found. The man who enjoys spiritual abundance has learned to never allow anything to come between him and his quest for the Lord and his advancing kingdom.
And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. Psalms 40:3
Sing a new song! Rise up with a new sound of joy and confidence! New songs and new sounds break old cycles of defeat and unbelief!
Proverbs 4:18
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.
