Things God Don't Know: No. 5

Updated on February 2, 2015

God Doesn't Know A Better Time Than Now To Be Saved

God Doesn’t Know A Better Time Than Now To Be Saved – Jesus tells us in Matthew that we must be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Even Jesus doesn’t know the time. Paul teaches in Corinthians that NOW is the day of salvation. We aren’t guaranteed the next hour, minute or even the next day on this earth. Remember, God knows how many heartbeats you have left in this lifetime. If your heart is still beating then you still have a chance, God isn’t finished with you yet. But do you really want to risk finding out just how many heartbeats you do have before you accept Him?
There isn’t a sinner God doesn’t love, but God can’t ignore sin. There isn’t a sinner God can’t save as long as it is through the blood of Jesus. And there is no better time than NOW to be saved. Once our earthly bodies die our spirits will either be in the presence of God in heaven or in the darkness of Hell.

Please take advantage of the saving gift God provides BEFORE it is too late. God is a God of second chances, but only during your lifetime. When you are standing before Him on that day of judgment, you will hear one of two phrase: "Well done my good and faithful servant," or "Depart from Me for I never knew you." Which will it be for you?
