Things I Learned in 2010
I've learned to trust God in prayer more than doubting. I learned that my moods pass and change frequently. I learned that re-acting to situations is not always the best solution. I learned that quitting projects or jobs is not always the right answer. I learned or re-learned that God always has my best interest. I learned that I am somewhat anti-social. I learned that making sure everyone in my family gets along is an on going goal of mine. I learned that I have a gift of comfort for those that I meet who are suffering. I learned that life is just so not permanent but temporary and if I don't get the things that I want to happen in this life time, I probably won't care about it in the next life. I learned that I don't think of things the same way as most people-mostly in terms of finances. I learned that teaching your children faith in God is more important than education. I learned to accept people I love without condoning their lifestyle. I learned that there are way more people worse off than me and I should be thanking God everyday for all of his mercies. I've learned that the scripture-- Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.Vengence is mine. Romans 12:19 has rang true in my life.
These are only some of the things I learned or re-learned.
